"So this should be the last piece right" I asked looking at the King of Red Lions.
"Indeed, I believe it is" he answered.
I nodded as I set up my grappling hook.
Collecting the pieces of the Triforce of Courage was a pain. Especially the triforce charts. I swear Tingle, some weirdo who wants to be a fairy in a weird green outfit, charged me out of practically every rupee I had just to get them deciphered.
In the end though all the pieces had been collected at various islands. All that was left was piece number eight.
I lowered the crane into the water, waiting for the feel of it hitting the ocean floor, or latching onto something. The latter happened.
I quickly brought what I salvaged up, a golden shard in the hook's grip.
"I got it" I cheered happily.
"Good work Link, now let us hurry back to the Tower of Gods" he instructed.
I nodded as I replaced the hook with the sail, watching as the final piece of the relic came together with the rest, finishing the complete Triforce of Courage.
We sailed away, adrenaline coursing through me at the though of my quest finally ending. Soon, I would defeat Ganondorf, stopping him from causing and more damage.
"Now Link, you the Goddesses your piece of the Triforce" The King instructed.
I did as told, looking at it as it shone above my hand in the air. A circle of light formed in the water, opening the path to Hyrule.
I smiled that I had been successful, looking at the triforce once more, gasping when I saw not above my hand, but glowing on it's back, just like Zelda's had.
"It seems the gods deem you the new legendary hero. Link, the Hero of Winds" The spoke. I could tell he was suprised, but mostly proud.
I was still in shock, me...the new hero. It was an overwhelming concept. Nevertheless, it was one I chose to accept.
"Now hurry, to Princess Zelda's side" he said.
I nodded and steered the boat towards the light, going down to Hyrule once more.
I headed for the sacred chamber once more, smiling when I saw Zelda there. she turned to me as I ran to her, but not a second later there was a white light and she was gone, leaving me in shock.
Ganondorf's laugh filled the place as he spoke.
"So, you might be the Hero of Time after all, if you wish to see Zelda again, go to my tower" he spoke.
Once his voice no longer echoed in the room two monsters that looked like nights appeared. They came for me.
It was a challenge, especially when everything was surround by flames, but I managed to win, the fire going out.
I don't know what it was, but somehow I knew where to go and what to do. I took another exit, heading outside.
There was a path, and in the distance I could see a dark eerie looking tower.
I ran then stopped, pulling out the master sword, slashing at the air.
Red filled the air I slashed, revealing that there was a force field around the castle. I had dispelled it.
I continued my way through through Hyrule, taking a short path, using my items to reach the tower.
I entered, walking up some stairs and into the next room. Lava filled the place. There were five bridges for me to cross.
I chose the one closest to me, making my way through another room until I found myself in one all too familiar.
The room I defeated my first boss in. The difference, I was the only one in color, everything else was in shades of grey.
The beast was already out and waiting for me, the familiar sight of Valoo's tail handing from the ceiling once again. It was all as if I had gone back in time. Which, though it was hard to believe, was the case.
If that was the case then I just had to fight the same way I did before. I did so, winning with even less effort this time.
I was quickly swept up by wind again and reappeared in the room of Lava, the biggest door across the bridge from me began glowing one of the four marks shining. I realized it was that of the beast I just fought again.
An idea came to my mind and I headed over to the next area, making my way to the next monster, defeating Kalle Demos once more.
I did the same with the bosses from the Earth and Wind temples. Transporting back to the main room, the symbols glowing.
Once all four symbols had begun to glow the door they were in dissolved, revealing the next entrance. I made my way through the maze of rooms, fighting the old phantom in each one.
After getting through through the rest of the rooms I finally reached Ganon's chamber.
The floor was covered with water but there was a raised platform, on it was a bed with silk curtains, Zelda unconscious on it. Ganondorf stood by it, looming over her.
"I can see into the girl's dreams you know...oceans, oceans, and oceans, as far as the eye can see. The child is an adventurousi type....what was it, that the King said...That the Gods sealed Hyrule away while the chosen ones took refuge...how ridiculous...your gods destroyed you..." He said, clearly on edge.
I kept quiet and said nothing, staring at him.
"I've been waiting for you boy...for someone like you to appear...someone like him...do not fail my expectations" he said.
Then...he started changing Zelda and the bed disappearing up above which a giant pig looking puppet remained. Time for another battle.
I used my boomerang to cut the marrionette's strings, all except the red one. I could the weak spot was a blue area on the abdomen, so focusing, I released a light arrow, shining through the air then hitting its target.
The battle continued similarly in three other phases, one as a worm like form, and finally, a spider.
I carefully avoided the attacks and shot with my arrows, eventually emerging victorious.
A laugh echoed through the room.
"Well done boy, you really are the Hero of Time reborn"
I looked up, seeing Ganon high above the raptors, Zelda slung over his shoulder.
"Come face me, we shall see if you truly are worthy of weielding such a blade" and then he disappeared through an exit outside.
I wasn't going to let him win. I climbed up the red rope that remained from my battle with the puppet, climbing up to the wooden planks. I used my grappling hook and hookshot, making it to the exit.
I took a deep breath, adrenaline pumping through me. This is it. Ganondorf is going down.
Once I felt I had built up more energy I went on, ready to face my enemy.
The wind blew through the air as I stood outside. Looking straight at Ganondorf, zelda unconscious on the ground in front of him, his back turned to me.
"My country lay in a vast desert, winds raged at night, bringing fatal chill, during the day the heat was unbearable, no matter what time of day, the wind brought the same thing...death" He spoke, staring off into the distance.
I didn't let myself feel pity for him.
"However" he continued,"the winds that blew across the fields of Hyrule brought something other than death and suffering...I...conveyed that wind, I suppose...it could be called fate, that the three parts of the true Triforce would end up here, once again.meeting...already the crest of wisdom is mine...all that remains..."
The next thing I knew I had connected to Ganondorf's fist, hard.
My vision blurred and I was in a daze. I could feel Ganon lifting me up by my wrist.
"Foolish boy...I do not wish to kill you, I merely have need of the power that dwells within you"
I could hear a hummming sound fill the room.

A Short Break
Anxiety filled Daphnes as he watched the parts of the Triforce resonate, reacting to each other. He saw as they came together completing the true Triforce.
He had to do something do something. Ganon could not have his wish granted.
"Gods, hear my desire, let fire rain down once more...chaos be all...give Hyrule to me" Ganondorf spoke as he n
neared the golden relic, his hand stretched out.
"Whoever touches the Triforce, shall have his wish granted, is that not right Ganondorf" Daphnes spoke, his hand touching what Ganon had worked so long to obtain.
Ganon was surprised, but mostly angered. How dare the he intervene in what was to be his moment of victory he had awaited for Si many centuries.
"Gods of the Triforce, hear my prayer, Let not Hyrule fall into Ganon's hands, wash Hyrule away once more, sealing it forever beneath the waves, Allow a future for these children, let time move on with them" The King said, never taking his eyes on the angered Ganondorf.
The Triforce rose up to the sky, returning to the sacred realm where it had been hidden away in once more. Water rained down on the land, Daphnes's wish being granted.
Laughter filled the air, Ganondorf laughing like a madman.
"What are laughing at Ganondorf...you're insane" spoke a young girl. Zelda.
She looked to Link, holding the Master Sword in her hand.
"Sorry Hero Boy...I overslept, now, let's beat this guy and get back to out beloved ocean" she smiled, handing the Hero of Winds his weapon.
He smiled back, taking the sword and looking towards Ganondorf.
"Ridiculous...a future...for you...Ha... see how much your precious Triforce is worth" Ganon laughed, pulling out two twin blades. The final showdown.

Link's POV
I dodged as Ganondorf came at me, blocking his attacks. I tried swinging my own blade, but he was better at blocking than me.
A ray of light flew threw the air, a soon realized it was a light arrow. I looked and saw Zelda holding my bow and arrows. She must've got them off me when I wasn't looking.
The arrow hit Ganondorf, electricity coursing through him, stunning him. Now was my chance. I went in for the kill, hacking away while he was out. It didn't last long though.
Zelda let another arrow fly, repeating our strategy. I attacked while he was stunned.
"Zelda" I called out.
Ganondorf decided he had had enough and attacked Zelda, knocking her out cold.
It was just me for a while, getting a few hits in, but that was still a challenge, and my arm was getting tired.
I kept at it, fighting as best I could, using my shield to block his strikes.
I could see Zelda coming to, quickly getting back on her feet. I made my way to her making sure she was alright.
"Link listen...I need you to distract him. I'll shoot the arrows at you and you reflect them off your shield at him got it"
I nodded and went back to Ganondorf, using a jump attack on him. I quickly raised my shield as the arrow came for me, reflecting towards Ganon, stunning him once more.
I had to finish this quickly. Leaping high into the air I landed on Ganondorf's head, piercing the blade through his skull. The power of the blade turning him to stone as he cursed us.
When was completely solid I went back onto the ground, leaving the sword in Ganondorf.
I held my left arm, sore from all the fighting, my stamina at its limit now that ny adrenaline rush was over.
"Link..." Zelda came to me, offering support.
That's when Daphnes appeared before us.
"You tow have done well...now my children...listen to me..." The king spoke, his tone solemn "I have lived regretting the past, and I had faced those regrets...if only I could do things over again...not a day has gone by without my mind turning to my kingdom of old, I was living bound to Hyrule...in that sense...I was the same as Ganondorf."
Zelda and I listened silently, letting him speak.
"But you...I want you to live for the future...there maybe nothing left for you, but despite that you must look forward, walk a path of hope and trust it will sustain you in should darkness strike again..." he said, then looked down "Farewell...this is the only world your ancestors had left you...please forgive us"
Zelda looked sad for a moment, looking at the ground before some Idea had hit her. I hoped it was a good one.
"Wait" she said "You..you could come with us."
Looks like it was a good idea after all.
"We have a ship" she continued "we can find it, we WILL find it...the land that will be the next Hyrule...so..."
I could see how much hope she had...but I had a feeling it was pointless.
"Ah, but child..." Daphnes smiled "that land will not be Hyrule...it will be YOUR land."
Water flooded the place completely, causing me to shield my eyes. I opened them, finding myself in a bubble of air. Zelda was in one as well, reaching for me as she floated up.
I began rising too, Daphnes watching our departure. I tried to reach for him, but I was to high up. He waved his hand in a final farewell.
We never saw him or Hyrule again.
I woke up, floating on the waters surface. Zelda was next to me, but she had changed back to Tetra.
I heard voices calling for us. Tetra and I looked over, finding the pirates waving at us as the sailed by to pick us up. Medli and Makar somehow were there too, as well as Aryll up in the crow's nest.
A ladder was brought down and I began to climb, stopping.
"Milady" I smiled, extending my hand out for Tetra, helping her onto the ladder.
Together we climbed onto the deck, greeted by our friends.
They asked us what happened. And we told them, of the adventure of a lifetime.
