"did timothée just say he's in love with me?" cora said. her gaze rapidly moved from her cell phone screen to her brother. jacob sat between the two, his own eyes going wide at her comment.
"let me see." he took the phone from her hand, rereading the comment over and over again until he smiled. "i think he did."
the boys stared at her, trying to catch her reaction. her cheeks heated up and her lips cracked into a grin.
"i'm in love with timothée."
troye audibly gasped and clasped his hands together quickly. "thank god you finally said it. i mean for fuck's sake cora, you wrote a whole damn song about it."
"i didn't want to say anything until i was sure," she said. "the last time i fell in love it all went downhill after i told him."
"that was last time. this is now." jacob grasped onto cora's hands. "go for it, cor. you deserve this."
