Already late for school Taeyong grabbed his backpack and rushed out the house slamming the door behind him, running down the sidewalk to the path to school the young wolf was almost tempted to use his wolf speed so he'd wouldn't be anymore late and he'd get there twice as fast. Living twenty minutes from school didn't really help him right now, how badly he wanted to speed up so he wouldn't get yelled at by his teacher or worse recieve detention then have to stay after.

Finally reaching the school entrance the young wolf let out a tired smile as he was panting from having to run so far in his weakest state. The omega had wiped the little bit of accumalating sweat on the back of his hand and jogged to his classroom. Opening the door Taeyong had expected to be greeted by angry words from his teacher, looking up at the teacher's desk Taeyong saw nobody. Glancing around the classroom the students were just fooling around ontop of their desk and talking to eachother. Letting out a sigh of relief the little omega had made his way to the back of the classroom where his desk was, on his way walking back a student had stuck out his foot tripping the brunette making him fall earning a few snickers and laughs from his classmates. Pushing himself up Taeyong continued walking and quietly sat down at his desk waiting for the teacher.

After a few minutes of sitting in the classroom blowing his hair out of boredom the young omega had smelled an unfamiliar scent on his nose and when he heard the lock of the classroom click he quickly sat up, Immediately all the students went to their seats and were greeted by their teacher who aplogized for being late.

"I'm sorry I had a few things to deal with and I also had to discuss a few things with our newest student. Now if you guys would all kindly welcome him. You can come in now." Mr. Nakamoto their teacher had said motioning his hand for the new student to step in the room.

All eyes were up at the front of the classroom as they curiously looked at the new transfer student. A tall lean, slender figure had stepped into the room walking up to the front and smiled at the class.

"My name is Jaehyun and I hope we can all be good friends." The light haired brunette spoke with a smiled that showed off his dimples and already had a few people in the room blushing from his handsome face. The omega could hear comments coming from the students around him about the new kid and how he was so tall and good looking.

"Jaehyun you can sit anywhere you'd like." Mr Nakamoto said motioning for the new kid to sit down. Taeyong was focusing on the new kid's scent it kept getting stronger and it smelled familar he had smelled it a few days ago when he was wondering around town, he was wondering if he had ever seen Jaehyun somewhere or if he just smelled really familar. Definetly a wolf, but also not from around here. So what was he doing here Taeyong wondered his eyes scanning over the new student that was currently making his way towards him staring him down.

Immediately Taeyong had looked away and diverted his attention elsewhere picking up his book and pretending to be interested, a few seconds passed and the omega peeked up from the book to find the other standing right infront of him staring him down.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" The taller of the two asked already placing his bag and sitting in the empty seat like Taeyong had already said yes.

"I-I guess you can" The omega stuttered out in a small voice looking away trying to focus on the board where Mr. Nakamoto was currently drawing something. In his mind Taeyong was wondering why this new wolf was currently in town because last time he had checked not mant wolves resided in this part of town. There were too many humans and most wolves liked to be out in nature alongside their packs. There was only one pack the omega knew of and they were a little far from here. He rarely saw or smelled them, he assumed they didn't like the town.

Taeyong was a city wolf as the others called it, not many of them to be found. It wasn't his choice, he was just born and raised in the city. At least that's what his parents had told him. He had a feeling, a small feeling deep inside his gut he was born somewhere else outside of the city, but his parents insisted he was born right here in the town hospital. The little omega was sure he was the only wolf in the city until now. This Jaehyun guy made two.

"Are you the only wolf here?" Jaehyun asked whispering in the omega's ear scaring him a little because he didn't even realize the other was that close.

"What?" The omega asked in a small voice looking at the man sitting next to him that was looking at him curiously. "I'm-I'm not.."

"Besides your parents. Are you and your parents the only wolves here?" The other had reworded making Taeyong's eyes widen slightly.

"No, it's only me." The brunette stated. "I- My parents are human. I was just adopted and my parents don't even know. There's no other wolves here."

"I could've sworn-" Cutting off his sentence the other nodded his head before focusing on the board. The rest of the class period went by without the two speaking a word to each other, the usual noise of the students talking among themselves even though the teacher had told them to be quiet repeatedly.

When the period ended Taeyong watched as the other stood up and exited the room ignoring questions from the other students. The omega had gotten up after majority of the people in the class had disappeared into the halls. Walking through the hallway Taeyong couldn't find the new wolf anywhere he looked. He wasn't trying hard, but most students lingered in the halls for a few minutes before actually going to class. The other had completely disappeared, the omega made his way to his next class ignoring the thought that was dancing in his head to find and talk to the other wolf.

This was his chance to finally ask questions about himself, him being hopeful that the other wolf had known more about him than he did. All Taeyong knew was that he was different, he was a wolf and he knew he just needed to know more. Taeyong didn't even know how to shift into his wolf form. He only knows it's possible because he'd seen other wolves in the forest one time running until he got scared when he heard a howl and ran away. There was also an instance when Taeyong was around eight he had suddenly shifted into a wolf when he was playing in his room. He remembered being scared out of his mind, running around his room yelping and running into stuff knocking everything over. It wasn't until one of his toys fell and hit him on the head did the little wolf pup stop infront of the mirror and had passed out from shock. Needless to say when he woke up his parents were furious at him for destroying his room, he tried to explain that he had turned into a puppy but they didn't believe him.

It wasn't until lunchtime did the omega see the other again. He guessed since the new kid was tall and handsome he had already found friends easily since he was sitting at a table with some other people smiling and laughing along with him. Little did Taeyong know there was a pair of eyes looking right back at him in the most secret way. Going to the table he always sat at the brunette placed his food on the table and began eating. After eating the young wolf went to his other classes before going home.

Arriving at his house knowing his mother and father were out the young omega went upstairs to his room, grabbing a book off the shelf the omega laid down on his bed and began reading the book not long after the brunette had slowly drifted to sleep after feeling the weight of his eyelids now only small snores were coming from his lips.

A few hours later Taeyong had woken up from his nap, looking out the window he saw it was dark outside. Checking the time it was already past nine. Getting up with a yawn the brunette stretched before going down stairs to make himself a sandwich. After his sandwich was done he took a bite and was about to head upstairs when he heard a knock on the door along with that strange scent from earlier. Turning around and heading towards the door Taeyong had twisted the knob and revealed it to be the new transfer student from his class, Jaehyun.

"What are you doing here?" Taeyong had said his cheeks filled with food and his eyes slightly widened in surprise with how the other knew where he lived and Taeyong had never once told him.

"I didn't know you wear glasses." Were the first words spoken from the other's mouth before he let out a small chuckle looking at Taeyong and how his cheeks were stuffed from food. "Anyways I wanted to know if you could help me around town, you know tell me where everything is." Jaehyun said hands in his coat as he stepped inside Taeyong's home, not that the other had invited him in.

Quickly chewing his food and looking at the other man across from him Taeyong spoke. "How do you know where I live?"

"Scent remember." Jaehyun said tapping the brunette's nose. "So could you show me around town and I hope we could be friends ya know since we're the only wolves in town and we could probably help eachother out."

"Why did you move here?" Taeyong asked moving back to the kitchen before offering the other water.

"Some problems had occurred back where I used to live, Anyways do you want to help me get to know this town a little more or no?"

"I guess I could as long as you help me."

"Sure, What do you need help with?"

"Everything.." Taeyong said in a quiet and shy voice thumbing at the edge of the counter avoiding the others gaze.

"What do you mean everything?" The taller of the two chuckled watching the omega's shy actions. "There has to be something in specific that you need help on. Like I could teach you how to fight or hunt better or whatever you need. What do you mean everything?"

"I-I don't know how to do any of that.." The other admitted with a small frown still looking down at the countertop before looking up at the man across from him that stood in the living room. "I don't know how to do any of that, all I know is that I'm a dog. I swear it happened once when I was eight! I transformed into a dog and I swear I saw it, nobody believes me though."

"First off you're not a dog if anything, you're a wolf. There's a difference, don't disrespect yourself like that and I know you are because I can clearly smell it on you. Your scent is.. Anyways I'll help you out, I guess. Aren't there any other wolves around here?"

Taeyong shook his head answering Jaehyun's question. "Not here. There's some in the forest miles away from here, I went there once then I heard them howl and got scared. But they might just actually be wolves. I just want to know who I am." The omega said letting out a sigh looking up at Jaehyun's dark eyes.

"Well if you take me around town, I'll take you out to a part of the forest and we can train there. Most wolves get their training from a younger age. Anyways don't worry I can train you, I've already-" The taller had cut off his sentence before he could finish knowing he might've already said too much.

"You've already what?" The brunette asked head slightly tilted eyeing the other across from him.

"Nothing. We can start training tomorrow night if you want. You can learn how to shift, I' m assuming you don't know how." The omega shook his head to which Jaehyun sighed. "What happened to your parents? Your real parents, the wolf ones?" Jaehyun asked curiously.

"I don't know. I've only ever known my human parents since I was a baby."

"Alright, we'll start training later." Humming Jaehyun turned around and made his way towards the door exiting the house not even turning around to say bye to the young omega who was still in the kitchen. Peeking out of the door Taeyong could no longer see the man in the darkness he squinted a bit to see if maybe he was in the distance, but Taeyong couldn't see anything. Closing the door Taeyong went back up to his room with a happy smile, glad to finally find someone else like him.
