"Ari" Nandini called her as wiped her mouth after making her brush
"Ha Mom" Arya said playing with her Teddy
"Kya ho gaya tha kal raat?" Nandini asked as Arya who stopped
"Wo I got a night mare" she said and hugged Nandini who was astonished by her behavior
"Mom he won't leave us na?" Arya asked her voice was low
"Who baby?" Nandini asked confused seeing her mode suddenly change
"Dad" she said meekly as Nandini was shock but she composed herself
"Aap ko daar lag raha hai?" Nandini asked withdrawing herself from Arya
"Mom apko ek secret bataye" she said as her daughter looked at her
"Mom ko bhi daard lag raha hai" she said
"But pata hai apko mujhe kisine kaha that ki jaab apko daar lage na tho apke sath kuch bhot accha hone wala hai ya kuch bura and aapko humesha yeh sochna chahiye ki apke saath accha hoga, so let go and go with a flow" she said
"You are scared na tho apni insecurities side men rakh kar srot ek chance de do unhe" she said pulling Arya close to her

Manik sat on his knees and held his hands keeping the book nicely besides him
"Please look here" Manik pleaded as Arav looked at him to see him cry

When Manik came with Arav in his arms, he took Arya and Arav to Arya's bed as Nandini looked at him, he was a crying mess
"I.... I" Manik started but could not say anything he was just crying

Arya came back running to the room followed by Arav
She entered and went straight to Manik and hugged him tightly hiding herself in him
"Please don't leave" she said
"Apko bura laga that Bhai made that book we will burn it but please don't leave" she said making Manik shock
"Pumpkin" Manik said in disbelief
"Yeh kya bol rahe ho aap I am never leaving you ever samjhe" he said holding her close and he looked at Arav who had hope in his eyes
Manik asked Arav to come near him and took her in his arms
"I did a big mistake and I ashamed of it but I promise I am never leaving you people again" Manik said hugging both his kids
"Agar apki Mom meri Jaan hai, the Queen of my heart na tho aab aap dono mere liye uss heart ke peices ho" he said kissing their foreheads

"Lo mere ko koi hug hi nahi kar rah" Nandini complained to light the situation as Manik pulled her making it a family hug

"Manik" Nandini called as he stood in the balcony
"Hmmm" he just hmmed
"If I would have come that day to you and told you that I am pregnant would you... would you..." she hesitated as he turned to look at her to see her looking at the floor so he paciently waited for her to say
"Would you have thought that these kids were" she played with her fingers clearly nervous
"Were of Harshad" she said and closed her eyes in fear but she didn't get any response
Not getting any response she opened her eyes to look at him who was looking at her the same way but now his eye balls were pitch black and eyes red with furry, his jaw clenched and fist was tight controlling himself not to hurt her

Her back hit the balcony wall as he trapped her, he could clearly see dear in her eyes and what she saw was beyond rage in his eyes

Manik was leaving Nandini house he was very angry
"Hello kaha jaa rahe hai aap" he heard Arav
He closed his eyes took a deep breath and turned to Arav
"I have a school project help me in that" he said rather kind off ordered
The one who never took orders and was a bull when he was angry was calmed in minutes and followed his son with her to his room

"Solar system has only eight planets" he said removing one of the plastic ball she was mostly playing with
"And concentrate warna I will punish" he showed her eyes

Both kids has sensed that their father was not sad anymore but he was angry
Nandini peeked in the room to see Manik helping both the kids she cautiontly peeked and looked at the bowl in her hand and sent a prayer to her Aiyyappa and with a big smile entered the room
"Babies" she called as both the kids looked at her but Manik didn't even spare her a look, he had already sensed her and also smelled the delicious aroma of the gajar halwa she had brought with her
"My babies must be hungry" she said
"And we didn't have our breakfast so kuch meetha ho jaye" she said cheerfully as the kids face lit up like a bulb
"Gajar ka halwa!!" They both exclaimed and they both were off to Nandini
"Hmm" Arav moaned smelling the aroma
Nandini took to small bowls and gave the kids who were eating sitting on the bed and then looked at Manik with a pout
Manik packed tge kids things up and was going to leave when he heard Nandini
"Mani" she called with love as he stopped where he was she called him that after years
"Tum nahi karoge breakfast?" she asked and the kids also look at him
"Wo nahi I am full" he said then looked at her, he knew that she was doing it for him. Whenever he was angry she use to cook his favorite food
"You won't want to miss it, it's yummy" she said making him look at the halwa, it actually looked yummy
But then he saw Nandini's face which went from a smirk to a innocent look and turned
"I have important call to make" he said and left
"Gussa hai" Arav said eating his halwa as Nanadini looked at him and bobbed her head as yes
"Tho manao jao" he said and Arya giggled as she glared at the two and then ran to follow Manik

Manik was talking on the phone as Nandini stood there paciently from last 10 minutes
And Manik looked at her from corner of her eyes she was talking to herself making faces
"Thik hai mail me the whole thing" Manik asked his PA and hung up as Nandini stood in front of him
"What?" he asked rudely
"Maina" she started talking as she looked a small kid trying to convence his parent "I am sorry" she said holding her ears
"For what?" he asked coldly
"For....for" she shuttered again
"For thinking low of me, for thinking something which never even popped in my head even once" he said and she looked down
"Just let it be" he said and was going to leave but she held his hand
"Manik I am really sorry" she said on verge of tears
"Earn it then" he said
"Aur kya karu I made halwa for you, I didn't even disturb you when you were on the call" she said "Aur kya karu? I will do anything" she said
"I don't know and I don't want to think and now leave me" he said taking his hand out of her grip
"Halwa tho kha lo" she said "Mujhe bhi bhuk lagi hai" she added as he sat on the chair and she served him, he was going to eat
"Wait wait wait" she said making him stop and then
"I will feed na" she said seating in front of him on the table folding her legs and started to feed him with the spoon as he eat looking at her all the time
After eating three bowls Nandini cleaned his face and gave him a thumbs up showing him done as he got up and turned to leave to Arav's room again with a small smile which he hid from her successfully
"Yeh monster dekho, yaha kitni planning ki thi maine isko tantrums dikhane ki yeh khud mujhse rooth kar beth gaya" she said eating her halwa
"Aiyyappa kushi nahi dekhi jati na apko meri" she complained looking up taking another bite
"Kya socha tha kya ho raha hai" she said dramatically
"Koi nahi Malhotra mein tumhe mana kar rahungi hi meri jo galti thi" she said as guilt flashed on her face
