*-No One's POV-*
It's been a week after dealing with the dragon and it's calmed down a little and Chase has tried to interrogate it with the help of Marshall just in case it tried to attack with fire. And the only thing they could get out besides fire with that he was a interdimensional warper that was looking for someone but his master wasn't specific on what. After Chase and Marshall spending more time together they've been getting closer and Now it's 1 day before Christmas and now they need to get ready
"Pups to the lookout!" everyone's pup tag lit up and they all raced to the lookout and go up the elevator, get changed, and get to the top and jump out and sit
"Ready for action Ryder sir!" Chase says always and this mission Mystic was already up there next to Ryder
"Hey pups glad you can make up. As you can see Mystic is here and his case is off and he's raring to go right Mystic?" Ryder says and looks down at Mystic
"Yup i'm Lights, Camera, Action ready Ryder!" Mystic says joyfully
"Anyways it's a good your back Mystic but this mission does not have anything to do with fighting. Instead I need Skye and Marshall."
"Seeing that Christmas is around the corner and it seems like snow is starting to fall we should get the tree and decorate it." Ryder says then gets at call from Jake
"Yo Ryder thanks for the help with the dragon but most of the trees are burnt down. I can't say if you'll get the biggest tree or not." he says
"It's fine Jake. All we want is a tree and it doesn't matter the size." Ryder says
"Alright let's go pups! Everyone else can decorate with the decorations that should be coming soon." Ryder yells from downstairs
The others wait around in case something happens but Chase has other plans on what to do besides wait around. He's asking everyone what they want fro Christmas and after asking Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, and calling up Everest and Tracker to ask all that was left was Mystic but he wasn't to be found.
"Darn where did he go?" Chase mumbles
"Oh me?" Mystic says from behind Chase which makes Chase jump
"Mystic! Where did you come from?!" Chase asks while Mystic laughs
"Chase you fine. Nothing to worry about" Mystic asks while getting up
"Y-yeah i'm fine." Chase really wants to punch Mystic right about now
"Anyways Mystic I came to ask what do you want for Christmas?" Chase asks but Mystic just looks away
"I-I..." he pauses "I guess all I really want is-"
*-To Marshall, Skye, and Ryder-*
Ryder which tree?" Skye asks while scoping out all of them as Ryder and Marshall look for the bottom
"Let's keep looking! We might find a good one" Ryder yells to Skye as Marshall just stares at one of them
"Hmm? Marshall what's wrong Marshall?" Ryder asks and pokes Marshall's ear and he looks at him
"O-Oh sorry Cha-Ryder! I didn't realize I was day dreaming." Marshall says but Ryder knew that he almost said Chase
"Is that the tree you want?" Ryder asks and examines it
"W-well I-I ki-kinda-" he tries to say but Ryder cuts him off saying
"It's pretty much perfect!" He yells
"Skye come to our location we found a good tree." Ryder says into his phone and Marshall can see Skye come to where they were.
*-With the others-*
"Wocky, pass me youw launchew." Zuma calls to Rocky who is by his pup house.
"Alright Zuma just give me a moment." Rocky calls back while he grabs some more stuff from his pup house.
Chase and Mystic get is his police cruiser but Mystic asks "Couldn't I just teleport us there?"
Ryder, Skye, and Marshall got back with the tree and ornaments and Rocky, Rubble, and Zuma were almost done decorating the place in plastic bones, ribbons, and Rocky used some of his recycling stuff to make a machine that helped and used some stuff to make some decorations.
"Hey where's Chase?" Marshall asks
"And Mystic" Skye adds on and give Marshall a death stare
"They went out to get stuff not sure what though because all they said was stuff" Rocky says as Rubble and Zuma take a break
"Good work pups now let's get on to decorating the tree while Chase and Mystic are out getting their stuff"Ryder says while Skye put's up the tree using her helicopters hook. Rocky put ornaments on the top the tree with his launcher while everyone uses Marshall's ladder to do the rest.
"Thanks for helping me Mystic i'm glad that you came to help me or this would take forever!" Chase over exaggerates to Mystic
"It's no problem and I'm glad that I can help." Mystic tells Chase and helps with the bags
"Well I'll help put these in your police cruiser and I bought something else..... but I'll show you later Chase." Mystic says while putting the bags in and grabbing the rest from Chase
"M-Mystic are you sure you'll be able to handle him." Chase shivers and looking at Mystic's chest reminds him on how he looked with all the burnt and kinda melting chest that gave Chase nightmares about Midnight the Dragon
"I-I..... I believe that everyone deserves a second or in this case 1 1/2 cause I want him in his cage but I still hope there is good in him." Mystic looks like he's trying to smile but can't because he's still scared
"Don't worry Mystic we'll all be ok!" Chase days happily trying to support Mystic thanks Chase now let's get home." Chase is kinda shocked because Mystic never called the lookout his home until now
Chase and Mystic get home and hid all the presents in Chase's pup house and help the rest while Farmer Yumi finds a way to get Midnight to the Lookout so Midnight can spend Christmas with Ryder and the pups and he'll be there by tomorrow and Ryder will figure something out
*-The Next Day-*
"Pups to the tree!" Ryder says into his phone and the pups all yell
"It's Christmas!" as they run out of their pup houses and go to the Christmas tree where Midnight is sleeping next to it and Mystic is in the tree above him
"Good morning pups glad your up and ready to open presents!" Ryder says and points at the bottom of the tree where there were about 20 presents surrounding it
"I wonder how man I got" Rubble says
"All of yours might be treats." Tracker says and gets a stare from Rubble
"Hey Ryder!" Mystic yelled from the tree "What's that big one over there?" Mystic says as everyone looks at where he's looking
"Oh- That's for last Mystic." Ryder says and everyone but Mystic and Midnight know what it is
I'll start from their order so Marshall got some new toys and some dog treats, Zuma got some new scuba gear and toys, Rubble got mostly treats and a new pup pack after his old one malfunctioned, Rocky got new toys and some more stuff that he can recycle for missions, Tracker got toys and some upgrades to his pup pack, Chase got more toys and nets for missions, Everest got some toys and snow skies, and Skye got a extra jetpack and new toys
"Wow thanks Ryder but what about Mystic?" Chase asks and Ryder points to the box
"Mystic there's your present!" Ryder says happily and Mystic runs over and opens it very fast to find his own pup house with toys inside and a big space.
"R-Ryder-" Mystic says and yells "I LOVE IT!" he yells as he grabs Marshall and Chase and pulls them under the doors to the Lookout and everyone looks confused until they look at the top of the door and see some mistletoe
"Ummmmmmmm." Marshalls says
"Mystic whyyyyyuuu" Chase groans and Mystic pushes them into touching snouts and everyone is watching
"Come on you two." Mystic adds "This is also apart of my Christmas gift he says and Marshall leans in closer to Chase and everyone sees them kiss.
"Eww I don't want to see that." Midnight says and everyone looks at him
"What?" He says in response to the looks
After the kiss Mystic is proud of himself and
"That was really nice." Chase says to Marshall and she is blushing hard
"It was nice too." She adds and Chase blushes
After that everyone had fun with their toys and Ryder showed Mystic how to drive his new car and Chase and Marshall spent the whole day together and when the day was done Farmer Yumi came to pick up Midnight but Mystic stopped her saying
"Can he stay here at the Lookout?" Which made Midnight look at Mystic in a confused face
"If Ryder is ok with it then sure." Shes says and Ryder says yes so she leaves him there
