Y/N P.O.V.
Mikisugi stood atop a wall next to the water. 'What was I just feeling? What's going on with Ryuko?' Y/N wondered. "OH. MY. GOD! Mr. Mikisugi, is that you?!" Mako asked. "Are you an exhibitionist?" Mako asked. "Actually-" Mikisugi began. "That means that you're into the same stuff as Ryuko and Y/N" Mako said. "We are so not" they all said in unison. "Sorry Mako, but you can't come along on this" Ryuko said. "You should listen to her. If you come with us, you'd be throwing yourself smack-dab into a world of hurt" Mikisugi warned. "But I'm her friend, and that means that no matter where she goes, I go too and none of you can stop me" Mako declared. They all jumped into the water, with the exception of Ryuko and Y/N. "Wait, we're swimming?" Ryuko asked. "Huh, I knew there was a reason that place felt so claustrophobic" Y/N said to himself. "That's right. This is the way to all the answers you want" Mikisugi said. "Let's go skinny dipping!" Mikisugi yelled, dipping under the water. "When he says it like that, he makes it seem a lot more mundane than it really is" Y/N said, prompting Ryuko to chuckled. "Well, c'mon then" Ryuko said, grabbing Y/N by the hand and pulling him into the water with her. His heart almost skipped a beat when she grabbed his hand. 'Again, what the hell is going on? I've never minded when Ryuko has made physical contact in the past' Y/N observed. They dove under the waves and swam for a while. 'Huh, it's a good thing that my arm is water proof' Y/N thought to himself. They pulled up in a cave under Osaka. "Osaka has a cave under it?" Ryuko asked. They began walking through the ruined base. "Jeez, Jakuzure leveled this place something fierce" Y/N observed. "Yeah, but there's more to it than just this" Mikisugi said. They walked through a sliding door into a large cave area. A bunch of soldiers saluted Mikisugi as they walked in. "H-how'd your Nudist Beachers have enough money to pay for all this?" Ryuko asked. "It all comes from your father" Mikisugi responded. "After all, he was a brilliant scientist. Not to mention, he had a lot of patents. His money made this organization possible" Mikisugi explained.
Mikisugi led the into a classroom-esque area and began drawing on the chalkboard. "Your turn, Ryuko. Of all the creatures on earth, which ones wear clothing?" Mikisugi asked. "Just us humans" Ryuko responded. Mikisugi began a lecture on how clothing made humans evolve. He explained that life fibers were alien parasites that would feed on the life force of living organisms, and that they had chosen to evolve humans for the purpose of making humans their food. "You mean, I'll try to eat Ryuko?!" Senketsu asked. "What a twist!" Zandatsu said in a Shyamalan voice. "Calm down guys, we haven't heard the whole story" Ryuko reassured them. "If that's true, then why aren't the life fibers in everyone's clothes?" Ryuko asked. "I mean, supposedly this has been going on for years, yet we're only finding out about this now?" "We have a theory about that. Supposedly the life fibers that helped us evolve went dormant, but they conditioned us to wear clothes" Mikisugi explained. "But 20 years ago, Ragyo Kiryuin made contact with the primordial life fiber, and they woke up." "You ok?" Ryuko asked Y/N. Y/N was staring at the ground trying to process all this. "My father knew about this. He used to tell me stories about parasites from space that were in our clothes, but I never knew what he meant" Y/N explained. "He's the head of a Private Military Company, and he's training forces for Ragyo Kiryuin." Mikisugi looked shocked about this. "Who's your father?" Mikisugi asked. "Steven L/N" Y/N replied. "And Minuado is my older brother, Samuel L/N." Everyone looked shocked about this but Ryuko. Senketsu came back into the fray. "So, this whole time... I've just been waiting for you to mature? Is that why I drink your blood? Because you're my food?!" Senketsu asked. "Calm down, Senketsu. You're not anything like that!" Ryuko reassured. "I just blew Senketsu's mind, didn't I" Mikisugi said. "I hate to blow your mind even further, but you guys are our only hope. Dr. Matoi created Senketsu with the purpose of fighting life fibers. And the only one who can wear it to its full potential" Mikisugi said. "You've always had a high tolerance for life fibers, which gave Dr. Matoi the idea" he explained. "But it makes me wonder, where did Y/N get his Kamui? And how is he able to wear it so well?" Y/N didn't stray his gaze from the ground. "My father gave it to me. I'm not sure why I'm able to wear it" Y/N explained. "I suppose that having a partnership with the Kiryuins could get you a Kamui, but it makes me wonder why you got the Kamui instead of your older brother" Mikisugi said. Y/N had no comment. 'Why would I get a Kamui before Sam?' Y/N wondered. "Anyways, Ryuko; your father used to work for the Kiryuins, studying life fibers. He learned about the threat they posed, so he left and started an organization to stop her: Nudist Beach" Mikisugi explained. "I remember now. I was born in that underground lab, then I was put to sleep for 6 months, then Ryuko showed up" Senketsu said. "I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark for so long, but the Kiryuins are powerful, especially with the L/Ns backing them. I couldn't tell you the full story until I was sure that you could control Senketsu's power" Mikisugi explained. "Until today, I wouldn't have believed any of this" Ryuko admitted. Mikisugi explained that Ragyo owned a clothing empire called REVOCS, and that they had clothing all over the world with life fibers woven into it. He explained that they will eventually wake up, and the death counter for the human race will begin to count down. "Oooh, I get it! You guys want me to use good ol' Senketsu here to fight for humanity?! Well you can blow it out your ass!" Ryuko yelled. "Calm down, Ryuko" Mikisugi said. "So you think Senketsu's just a weapon, huh? Just a uniform made to fight, huh?!" Ryuko yelled. "He's got a mind of his own. You want him to go and kill his own kind? Can't you see how messed up that is? Well I can!" Ryuko declared, ripping Senketsu off. "I'm not putting you on to fight anymore, and you don't have to fight either" Ryuko declared. Tsumugu picked up his gun. "Kamui that don't fight are useless. And useless Kamui get killed" Tsumugu said. "You'll have through me 1st" Ryuko said. "This isn't necessary" Y/N said. "I might not use my Kamui quite as well as Ryuko, but I can still fight the Kiryuins" Y/N said, using his sword to lower Tsumugu's gun. Y/N walked over to Ryuko. His nerves were acting up again, especially now that Ryuko was only wearing her underwear, but Y/N ignored them. He stood next to Ryuko, then grabbed her by the hand and looked her in the eye. "You don't have to fight if you don't want to. You've had enough, but I don't know if I can defeat the Kiryuins on my own. I may need your help, so can I count on you?" Y/N asked. Ryuko was silent, simply staring back at Y/N with a shocked expression. "Ryuko, I'm flattered that you'd stand up for me like that, but put me on" Senketsu said. "Y/N... Senketsu..." Ryuko said. "C'mon, you'll-" Y/N began. "-Catch a cold like that" Senketsu said. "Exactly" Y/N said. "Catch a cold? Man, you guys are something else" Ryuko said, putting Senketsu back on.
Y/N and Ryuko P.O.V. (yes, a shared P.O.V.)
(Skip to 2:22 in the video). Night fell, and Y/N and Ryuko sat among the ruins of Osaka. "Wow, this is Osaka? It's a mess" Ryuko said. "This is what we caused" Y/N said regretfully. "This is the power of life fibers. This is what we're capable of" Senketsu said. "Even after seeing this, learning that life fibers are from outer space is mind boggling" Senketsu admitted. "Heh, that's funny coming from you. This whole thing has me freaked out" Ryuko said. "Want to talk about it?" Y/N asked. "I dunno, it's like this has gone from a fight to this crazy war that's over my head. People are saying stuff like 'fate of humanity,' and 'extinction,' and stuff. My head was spinning, and I wanted to say that I didn't give a crap. Instead, I used Senketsu as an excuse to get angry" Ryuko confessed. "No, Ryuko. You got angry because you were standing up for me. That's the kind of person you are" Senketsu reassured her. "He's right" Y/N said. "I understand how you feel about all this. At first I thought we could just get revenge regarding our respective families and call it a day, but all this? This is way more than either of us could have anticipated" Y/N said. "I dunno if I'm ready for all this responsibility. Ryuko shifted her position to face him a little more, while still sitting next to him. She put her nearest hand on his shoulder. "At least you don't have to face it alone" Ryuko reminded him. "We've got each other to lean on." Y/N smiled. They both smiled at each other, Y/N scooted closer to Ryuko. Y/N put his right arm around Ryuko's waist and pulled her in close. "I'm sorry about what happened to your arm" Ryuko said. "But thanks for trying to get Senketsu back" Ryuko said, putting her hand on the side of Y/N's face. 'Huh, maybe the reason my nerves have been acting up is...' Y/N thought. "Ryuko..." Y/N started. They got even closer to each other, but they were snapped out of their trance when they heard Tsumugu's automatic gunfire.
Y/N P.O.V.
Tsumugu was firing at targets that were shaped like clothing. "What's up with him?" Ryuko asked, leaning on Y/N's shoulder. "His older sister died during an experiment with life fibers" Y/N heard someone say. Y/N looked up and saw Mikisugi standing above them. "When Dr. Matoi created Nudist Beach, he set up a lab. His top assistant was Tsumugu's sister, Kinue Kinagase found that only life fibers could fight life fibers, so they tried making one that would obey a human's will" Mikisugi explained. "They ran experiment after experiment, and during one of those, she..." "Jesus, that was his sister?" Ryuko asked. "Huh?" Mikisugi asked. "A little while back, he told me I was headed down the same road as her" Ryuko explained. "Oh, right" Mikisugi remembered. "Her last words to him were: 'Whatever you do, don't stop the work.' So Dr. Matoi continued the experiments until he figured it out and and made Senketsu. His breakthrough came when he spliced Senketsu's life fibers with your central nervous system's DNA" Mikisugi explained. "He did what?" Ryuko asked. "It's true. He also had a backup plan for in case you didn't survive, so he also spliced Y/N's DNA. That's why you 2 are the only ones who can hear him." Mikisugi explained. "Huh, so that's why I can hear Senketsu, but she can't hear Zandatsu" Y/N realized. "But why would he do that?" Ryuko asked. "Because he wanted to protect you" Mikisugi said. "Heh, what the hell?" Ryuko said. Mikisugi started to walk away. "We should probably head inside" Y/N suggested. "Yeah, it's gonna be a big day tomorrow. You 2 should probably get some sleep" Mikisugi suggested.
"So, what are we looking at?" Ryuko asked. "We're looking at a live video feed from the hidden cameras I set up at the academy" Mikisugi explained. "Huh, never figured Satsuki for the kind to throw a festival" Y/N said, almost impressed. "This thing must be pretty big if they've got Ragyo Kiryuin there" Tsumugu said. "The hell's she gotta be there for?" Ryuko asked. "She's the head of the Kiryuin conglomerate, and the CEO of REVOCS, remember?" Mikisugi reminded them. "She made it her mission to sell clothes laced with life fibers all over the world." "She's even tackier than Satsuki. A couple of skanks cut from the same cloth" Ryuko said. "Yeah, but she's even more formidable than Satsuki. Trust me on that" Mikisugi said. "They're trucking a hell of a lot of life fibers in" Tsumugu pointed out. "Oh no! She's coming to conduct the final experiment at Honnoji Academy" Mikisugi realized. "The academy was a testing ground. The 1st experiment was figuring out how to make Goku Uniforms that humans could handle. Then they tweaked them for combat and used them to conquer every school in the country. Now, everyone's being forced to wear uniforms laced with life fibers" Mikisugi explained. "Once they're all sitting in the stands, they'll be offered up as human sacrifices to the life fibers." "Oh crap! If the plan is to get everyone eaten by clothes, then that'll mean Mako's mom and dad!" Ryuko realized. "Well screw that! There's no way I'm gonna let that happen!" Ryuko declared. "Ragyo and Satsuki Kiryuin, I'm taking both of those bitches down!" Mikisugi chuckled. "Jumping straight into the jaws of death again?" Mikisugi asked. "Yeah, only this time I'm jumping straight down its throat and ripping its guts out with my teeth!" Ryuko declared. "So basically, we just gotta get in there and kill Satsuki and her mom before they kill everyone else?" Y/N asked. "That is the essence of it" Mikisugi said. "Well, one way or another, I'm settling this fight with Satsuki Kiryuin, and now's as good a time as any. So, you guys with me?" Ryuko asked. "Of course" Senketsu answered. Y/N smirked. "Without a doubt" Y/N replied. "Me too" Tsumugu chimed in. "Looks like we're all going. We don't have much time though, the clock is ticking" Mikisugi said.
Tsumugu and Mikisugi began suiting up for battle. "Stay focused out there. Our targets are Ragyo and Satsuki only. It's just us 3, so let's not mess around with anyone else" Mikisugi ordered. "Is Mako gonna be ok while we're gone?" Ryuko asked. "She'll be fine. I've got a team on standby here to keep an eye on her" Mikisugi reassured them. "You guys are tryna' ditch me again" Mako said, appearing out of nowhere. "It's not safe there" Ryuko said. "But it's where I live. Plus, I got all these souvenirs to give my mom and dad" Mako complained. Y/N walked over to her. "Look, Mako, I know you really want to see your parents again" Y/N said in a sympathetic voice. "But Satsuki and her mom are going to make Honno-city very dangerous, and we don't want you getting hurt. You won't be able to give your parents souvenirs if you're dead." Mako looked down at the ground. "I know, but you guys are my friends, and if you guys are going somewhere, I'm going with you" Mako declared. "Dammit, she's as stubborn as you are, Ryuko" Y/N said. "Guess there's no stopping it" Ryuko said. "Well then, as long as you're ok fitting 3 people on that scooter" Y/N said. "That won't be necessary, Mako can ride in my car" Mikisugi suggested. "Wouldn't it be more practical for me-" Y/N began. Mikisugi shot him a look that told him to stop talking. He looked back at the bike. 'Huh, never figured Mikisugi for a wingman... you learn something new everyday' Y/N thought. Y/N climbed on the bike, putting his arms around Ryuko's stomach for support. They started riding off to the festival. They were about halfway to Honnoji academy, when something occurred to Y/N. "Ryuko, something doesn't feel right" Y/N said. "What do you mean?" Ryuko asked. "Remember when we talked earlier about how this all felt to big to comprehend?" Y/N asked. "Uh huh" Ryuko responded. "Yeah. It just feels weird that all of this is about to be over" Y/N said. "I understand what you mean. It feels weird that after all this time, I'll get revenge for my father's death" Ryuko said. "Not to mention, you might be able to settle things with Sam afterwards." Y/N grinned at the prospect, but something was still bothering him. "Still, what if we fail?" Y/N asked. "It's all or nothing" Ryuko said. 'I guess so' Y/N thought.
Upon pulling up to the stadium, they heard screaming from the inside. "Oh crap, you hear that?!" Ryuko asked. "Sounds like it's started, let's hurry!" Mikisugi said. They all got on Mikisugi's DTR, but Mako couldn't get on anywhere. They began rocketing over the wall. "Have fun storming the stadium!" Mako yelled. "I feel like I've heard a quote like that before..." Y/N said. They rocketed over the wall, only to behold a sea of people that were mummified by life fibers. Those who weren't mummified stood in the center of the stadium, so Mikisugi parked his DTR on a path leading up to the middle. "Your little party is over, Satsuki Kiryuin! Let everyone go, or else!" Ryuko threatened. "Well, well. You must be Ryuko Matoi" Ragyo said, not even looking back. "And I take it that is Kamui Senketsu, the end product of Isshin Matoi's futile efforts. It's quite lovely" Ragyo admitted. Y/N stepped up. "Give us a few minutes, then we'll decide whether or not Isshin's efforts were futile!" Y/N yelled, trying to contain his anger at Ragyo's comments. Ragyo turned around and went wide eyed. "Is that Steven's son?!" Ragyo asked, temporarily losing her composure. "You're supposed to be dead, to my knowledge." Sam stepped forward. "Remember, he's the one I told you about" Sam said. "Ah... now I see the scar on his arm" Ragyo said. "So, you're Ragyo Kiryuin" Ryuko said. "You're just like your daughter: A big shot with a big mouth." "How drole. Perhaps you do not realize who you are talking to" Ragyo warned. "I am Ragyo Kiryuin: Head of the Kiryui-" Ragyo was suddenly stabbed from begind. She looked down and saw Bakuzan piercing through her chest. "The time for speeches is over!" Satsuki declared, stabbing Bakuzan further through her chest, and lifting her up with Bakuzan. She threw Ragyo and impaled her on a tower. "Hear me, Director!" Satsuki commanded. "As of this moment, Honnoji Academy and I are putting an end to your reign!" Ryuko and Y/N stared in shock. "What..." Ryuko began. "The hell?!" Y/N finished. "Are you trying to take the throne from me?" Ragyo asked. "No, I'm not!" Satsuki declared. Sam looked particularly shocked about all this. "People do not live for the sake of clothing. I, Satsuki Kiryuin, am rising up to overthrow the life fibers!" Satsuki declared. "I did not create Honnoji Academy for you, but to destroy you! Remember that, Ragyo Kiryuin!" 'By the looks of things, she's not going to have much time to remember that' Y/N thought to himself. "For years I've waited for this day, pretending to obey you!" Satsuki said. "Fear is freedom! Subjugation is liberation! Contradiction is truth! These are the facts of this world, and you will submit to them, you pig in human who fauns over clothing!" Ragyo's butler started stretching her sleeves. "You won't get away with this!" She yelled, trying to attack Satsuki, but something blocked her attack. It was Gamagori, who stepped out from behind the shield. "WRONG!" Gamagori said, transforming into shackle regalia. They began restraining the butler. Satsuki turned to Inumuta. "Release them" Satsuki commanded. "As you wish, my lady" Inumuta replied, freeing all the mummified people. Y/N was just taking this all in. "You damn teenagers" Ragyo said from her spike. "I wouldn't underestimate them" Satsuki said. "We are neither scum, nor are we weak. Each one of us is a warrior trained to fight life fibers! This is Honnoji Academy!" Satsuki declared. 'Don't catch you slipping-' Y/N began thinking, before snapping back to attention. "This is our power!" Satsuki said. Nui jumped down from out of nowhere, only to be confronted by Sanageyama. "We've got unfinished business, don't we!" Sanageyama said, transforming into Blade Regalia Mk. III.
"Wait, so now Satsuki's taking on her mom?!" Ryuko asked. "It would seem that way" Y/N said calmly. "Maybe that means her goal is the same as ours now" Senketsu realized. The Nudist Beach members were extremely confused. Gamagori popped up on a screen. "MATOI, LADY SATSUKI WAS PLANNING TO RISE UP AGAINST THE LIFE FIBERS FROM THE START" he began explaining. "SHE PUT ON A FALSE FRONT BECAUSE IT WAS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE SURE DIRECTOR RAGYO DIDN'T FIND OUT" Gamagori explained. "If that's true, how come you guys were trying to kill me, Y/N, and the Nudist Beach dorks?!" Ryuko asked. "I have no need for half-baked allies" Satsuki responded. "The only way to find out if you were capable of winning the war against the life fibers was to put you up against my finest" Satsuki explained. "Son of a-" Ryuko began. "What's happened has passed, and if you don't like it, then I can fight you after" Satsuki declared. "But as of right now, if you want to protect the freedom of humans everywhere from this tyranny, then you'll join us and fight!" Ragyo began chuckling from her spike. "I admire your ambition" Ragyo said. "You have no problem stabbing your mother in the back to get what you want." "Of course not" Satsuki responded. "If this makes me a villain, then I embrace it gladly. I'll use any means necessary to bring down a monster like you." "You'd call your own mother a monster?" Ragyo asked. "Anything but a monster would be dead in your position, but you just keep on laughing" Y/N said. "Seriously though, how the hell are you still alive?!" Y/N asked. "You're a monster because you merged with the life fibers and gave up your humanity" Satsuki explained. "I'm no monster, I'm the ultimate life form" Ragyo argued. "Oh sure, I've never heard that one before" Y/N said sarcastically. "I am enlightened" Ragyo continued. Satsuki began to give a speech about the true nature of life fibers, but Y/N noticed Nui getting fought by the elite 4. Y/N listened to Satsuki arguing with her mother. "Ragyo! In the name of humanity, I sentence you to death!" Satsuki declared. Ragyo's butler jumped at Satsuki, but Satsuki cut her in half. Suddenly, the 2 halves disappeared, and Ragyo began laughing. "Your troops are mine now" Ragyo declared, sending her threads throughout the students. "Oh crap! She went and turned all the kids into zombies!" Ryuko said. "Dammit, just when we thought we were done with this crap!" Y/N said. "This is mind stitching" Ragyo explained. "I've sewn my basting thread right into their brains. Get them my puppets" Ragyo ordered. They charged at Ryuko and Y/N, but Satsuki began transforming her Kamui. Satsuki began knocking all the zombified students back, and Mikisugi and Tsumugu began attacking the zombified students as well. "Ryuko, Y/N; go attack Ragyo. We can handle these guys" Mikisugi commanded.
Ryuko and Y/N were making their way past a herd of students, when Ryuko was suddenly grabbed by a thread that Ragyo made. "Ryuko!" Y/N yelled as she was lifted up into the air. Y/N jumped and cut the thread, but he was half a second too late. Ragyo had already stitched her mind. "Bringing the Matoi girl into this was a bad move on your part" Ragyo said to Satsuki. Ryuko began attacking Satsuki, but she eventually broke out of her mind stitch. "Dammit, we ain't your puppets!" Ryuko yelled, ripping the threads out. "I'm not gonna let you tie us down with some goddamn string!" Ryuko fell to her knees, breathing heavily. "This bitch is going down hard. Ready Y/N?" Ryuko asked. "Ready as I'll ever be" Y/N responded. Ryuko was about to transform, when Nui suddenly appeared in front of them. "Long time no see, you guys" Nui said gleefully. "Nui Harime!" Ryuko yelled. "Remember how Lady Satsuki told you the whole 'killing your dad' thing was her idea?" Nui asked. "It wasn't. Lady Ragyo and I were behind it. You still wanna get your hands on this scissor blade? Then come on: Get your revenge for your old dead daddy. Just don't get angry if your quest for revenge kills you, ok?" Nui said mockingly. "Kiryuin, Ragyo's all yours" Ryuko said. "She was never anyone else's" Satsuki declared, striding towards her mother. "It's been a little while since we've gotten to properly fight together, eh Ryuko?" Y/N asked. "It sure has. Now's a better time than any" Ryuko replied. They both transformed and began attacking Nui wildly. Nui made a bunch of doppelgangers appear, but Ryuko and Y/N quickly slashed through them. Y/N stood face to face with Nui as Ryuko flew around Nui repeatedly. Ryuko suddenly swung at Nui, who was only just barely able to parry it. "How can a normal human be this strong?!" Nui asked. "Uh, is it just me, or is it raining blood?" Y/N asked. He looked over and saw the vacancy above Ragyo's neck. Suddenly, her decapitated body punched Satsuki a few dozen feet away. "As long as a strand connects my head to my body, I can always regenerate myself" Ragyo declared. "And it appears that your Bakuzan cannot sever all of the remaining threads." Ragyo picked up Satsuki by the neck, then punched her repeatedly. Satsuki swung Bakuzan at Ragyo, but Ragyo merely held out her fist, which shattered Bakuzan upon contact. Ragyo kneed Satsuki in the stomach, then threw here away. "Ryuko, look at the sky!" Sanketsu said. "Those are covers" Ragyo said. She was wearing Junketsu now, and she dragged Satsuki up beside her, who was only in her underwear. She threw Satsuki into the side of the colosseum. "Satsuki was no worthy host for the life fibers, I on the other hand, am" Ragyo declared. She transformed into Junketsu, then ran over to Ryuko and stuck her hand straight into her chest. Y/N had only half-processed the situation, when he drew his sword and cut through Ragyo's arm. "My, my, a High Frequency blade" Ragyo said, unamused. "Unfortunately, I still have 1 strand connecting my arm." She ripped out Ryuko's heard, which was glowing with life fibers. "Ryuko Matoi, don't you see? Your body is 1 with the life fibers, just like mine" Ragyo explained. "I thought that you were dead, but now I realize who you are, my daughter." Ryuko cut Ragyo's hand off. "I'm Isshin Matoi's daughter, got it?!" Ryuko yelled. "If I'm not your mother, then how do you explain that?" Ragyo asked, gesturing towards her healing heart. "Shut up!" Ryuko yelled, desperately slashing at Ragyo. Ragyo suddenly jumped over to Y/N, who swung his sword at her again. She tried to grab it and break it, but his sword kept cutting into her arm, then into her midsection. "Surprised? This sword was designed with the same purpose as Senketsu: To destroy you" Y/N declared. Ragyo chuckled, despite the sword embedded in her midsection. "Too bad its wielder can't stack up to it" Ragyo mocked. She then used her good arm to tear Y/N's cybernetic arm off. "Y/N!" He could barely hear Ryuko yell. It was taking all the willpower he had, not to faint. "Sam! Bring me what you found in the tunnel" Ragyo commanded. Sam jumped down to them, holding a left arm: A surprisingly well preserved left arm that looked exactly like... "How the hell?!" Y/N barely uttered out. "I asked Sam to go back and get it, then we used life fibers to keep it alive" Ragyo explained. "And just like I can reattach my limbs, perhaps you can reattach yours." "But you said this shit's hereditary" Y/N pointed out. "Your father has proficiency with life fibers as well" Ragyo said. "The foundations for life fiber merging have already been laid within your body, I just to borrow you for a while to complete the merging." That was the last thing Y/N remembered before he passed out.
Ryuko P.O.V.
Shock doesn't even begin to fathom what Ryuko was feeling right now. Between finding out Ragyo was her mom, to finding out that Y/N might also be a life fiber mutant, to Y/N's current state, everything was adding to Ryuko's shock and rage. It didn't help that Nui decided to suddenly show up. "Does that mean that Y/N gets to be like my new brother soon?" Nui asked cheerfully. "I can't say I ever expected this from either of you. You're the greatest, Ryuko!" Nui exclaimed mockingly. Suddenly, a large explosion shook the Colosseum, and Ryuko was knocked out.
Y/N P.O.V.
Y/N woke up strapped to an odd medical table. He noticed that he was only wearing his boxers. His Kamui was nowhere to be seen. 'Why do I keep waking up on tables?' Y/N thought to himself. 'Ok, let's try to remember everything.' Most of what had happened came back to him, including what Ragyo had said. 'I just need to borrow you for a while to complete the merging,' Ragyo had said. As if on cue, Ragyo walked into the room, followed by a team of lab specialists. "Ah, you've finally woken up" Ragyo said. "How long has it been?" Y/N asked. "Oh, only about a day" Ragyo responded. "We had to quickly operate on you to make sure that the metal strands I ripped out with your arm didn't cause any brain damage." "Tch, maybe you shouldn't have ripped out my arm then!" Y/N yelled. "Maybe, though it all turned out ok" Ragyo said. "I dunno, I personally prefer having feeling below my left bicep" Y/N said sarcastically. "Oh, I wouldn't worry about that for too long" Ragyo reassured. "You'll be getting your original arm back soon enough." "I mean, I appreciate the offer, but why?" Y/N asked. "I'm your enemy, what's your game here?" Ragyo chuckled. "Remember all the VR training your father had you do?" Ragyo asked. "There was a method to the madness. I'm sure that if I place my mind stitches just right, I'll find some trace of loyalty to our cause within your brain" Ragyo explained. "I wouldn't be too sure, but go ahead and try" Y/N said. "But 1st, I want to know what my family has been doing behind my back. How exactly has the contract been working?" Y/N asked. "Well, where to begin... Oh, right. Your father and I met when we both found the primordial life fiber" Ragyo explained. "He had been doing research on it because he owned a PMC, and he wanted to see if life fibers could boost the strength of his soldiers. We arranged a deal: He would help me with my plan to have the life fibers take over the world, and I would help him gain a position of leadership within the new world of life fibers." "So this is all just a power play for him? I'd expect nothing less" Y/N said spitefully. "That doesn't cover Sam though." "Samuel and Satsuki have been friends for a long time" Ragyo informed him. "Your father gave Sam the objective of assisting me, while also keeping an eye on my daughter for me." "And what about me? Why am I only partially merged?" Y/N asked. "Your father wanted you to be merged with life fibers when you were a newborn, so we laid down the foundations for a merge within your body" Ragyo explained. "Unfortunately, the merger itself was potentially lethal, so your mother forbade it from happening. After your mother died, it was a bit late to properly do a merger, so your father worked on making you strong and resilient, with the purpose of eventually merging you." "You mentioned my mother, do you know anything about her?" Y/N asked. "Certainly. Your father met your mother in Brazil when he had a contract there, and she passed away about 10 years ago" Ragyo said. "Hmm... ok, get on with your experiment" Y/N said. The medical team put Y/N to sleep, then began operating on him.
