(Momo's POV)
"It would be my honor to protect her with my life."
I heard someone say. 'Did Fuyumi get a new guard?'
"Momo, come out and meet your guard."
'That explains that.'
"Coming father."
I walk in and give a light curtsy. I saw the five kingdoms rulers. And then I see a knight. 'His name was Tensa, no it was Tensei, no that's his brother. Oh right! Tenya.'
"Pleased to meet you my princess." He said. He bowed and I gave him my hand for him to kiss the back of it. But for whatever reason it felt different. Different from when all the other men kissed it. I felt butterflies in my stomach and my face heating up. 'Am I getting sick?' I chose to ignore it.
"My name is Tenya Iida, I am the second son of the Iida family, and now your personal guard. I pledge to protect you with my life."
"And as you already know I am Princess Momo Yaoyorozu, eldest daughter of the Yaoyorozu family, and heir to the throne."
I sounded so formal, so emotionless.
I'm so bored. Finally father said something.
"Sir Tenya you have two hours to pack your things. We will be leaving shortly after so please hurry."
"Yes my King."
He walked to the door and bowed before exiting. 'Wow. He really takes tradition to heart.'
(Iida's POV)
I exited the room and walked back to my own. 'Of all the things I could have gotten why this? I mean true it's a great honor, but she's absolutely beautiful. Crap I need to think. Hmmmm. I got nothing.' I packed my things and decided that since I had over an hour left I would go see my family for the last goodbye for who knows how long. I knocked on my mother's door and entered.
"Mother I will be leaving for the Creation kingdom in a little less than an hour."
"Awww. My little Tenya's grown up."
She pulled me in for a hug and I graciously accepted.
"Son you did good." My father said.
"Come here little brother." Tensei said. Ruffling my hair shortly after.
"I must be on my way. I hope to see you all as soon as I can." And with that I bowed and left. 'Things won't be the same.' I kept thinking about what I will miss and what I will have to do whenever I get to come back. I was about to turn the corner when I bumped into somebody and hit my head up against the the wall.
"Dammit." I murmur. I look up and of course it's her. It just had to be her. She was on the ground a few feet away rubbing her forehead. 'Dammit how could this get any worse!?' I got up to help her but by the time I was up she was as well.
"Gomen Princess Yaoyorozu." I said.
She was covering her forehead and I got worried. So I moved her hand away and saw a trickle of blood. But this look more like a cut then from the fall.
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened?" I pointed to her forehead.
"Oh this? Well I had it covered it's from when I was training earlier. I was actually going to get it cleaned and then bandaged." She was about to leave but I stopped her.
"A-allow me to escort you to our medic." 'Don't stutter!'
"Um... ok."
We walked in an awkward silence. When we got to the medical room, there was nobody there. 'Just my luck.' I walk into the room and find rubbing alcohol and a small bandage.
"Thank you Sir Iida, but I can do the rest myself."
"Are you sure I can't help you?"
"Yes, now go you need to prepare to leave."
"Oh course Princess Yaoyorozu."
I bowed and left. I went to my room and changed into a pair of jeans and a T-Shirt. I took out my phone and looked at the time. '5:35, I have about twenty five minutes left.'
'I hope the princess is alright.' And with that I left to go put my things in the car.
