I told Juan my address and our home isn't that quiet far naman like almost 20 minutes lang ata siguro away from UP Diliman, minus the traffic.
The first minutes while I was inside his car, felt so awkward kasi we were both silent and I don't know if I should speak or not pero finally, Juan was the first who talked kaya parang nawala na rin yung awkwardness sa loob.
"Are you a freshman?" Tanong ni Juan as he glanced at me then back to the road and umiling naman ako. "Nope. Just same with you. I'm in 2nd year din"
"Really? How come I haven't seen you around in the campus?" He asked with wide eyes and napatawa ako.
"I don't know. Maybe, siguro, UP Diliman is really that big tas malayo rin yung building ko where I have most of my classes." I told him.
"What's your course?" Tanong ni Juan.
"BA in Broadcast Communication"
"Oh, that's why. Malayo yung building mo from mine. I'm taking up Sports Science kasi" Sabi naman niya at napa-ahh ako.
"By the way, ba't ikaw lang isa ngayon? Where's Javi?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"He's at home. He's not feeling well e."
"Ah ganun ba but hindi naman lala? Like magp-play pa rin siya?"
"Of course. Hindi naman lala like just a fever lang daw. Are you going to watch our game this Wednesday?" Tanong niya at muli naman akong tumango.
"Yup, I got my ticket and I also wouldn't miss it for the world. I'm a solid supporter kaya of our school" Sabi ko sa kanya.
Especially you.
"Really? Great. So, see you this Wednesday?" He asked and I shook my head "No, I'll see YOU this Wednesday."
Tapos Juan had a confused look on his face.
"E, kasi naman, it's impossible na you'll see me. I'll be wearing a maroon in a sea of maroons" Wika ko sa kanya "..gets?"
Nagturn ng red yung traffic light kaya napahinto kami and waited for 2 minutes habang may mga taong nagco-cross ng road.
And then Juan turned to me tas pinagtaasan niya ako ng kilay, "Are you sure about that?" Tanong niya sa isang nanghahamon na tono. And gosh, ang hot niya tignan. Shet.
"What if I'll see you?" Tanong niya naman and umiling ako.
"You won't nga" Pang-uulit ko sa kanya because it's impossible nga na he'll see me. Sa dami-daming tao na manonood this Wednesday, I doubt.
"What ticket did you bought pala? Is it General Admission?" Tanong niya as he resumed driving after 2 minutes.
"No, it's a Patron ticket.." Sabi ko sa kanya.
"Oh see, it's just near so I'm gonna see you" Ngiting sambit niya and I'm thinking right now, bakit he keeps saying na he'll gonna see me. Hay nako Juan. Marupok ako. Ano ba.
"Hindi—" I was then cut off by him.
"What if I'll see you? Especially you're in the Patron side lang pala.." Juan asked again like he was hopeful.
"Okay fine, edi makikita mo 'ko" Sabi ko sa kanya.
"No, we have to make a deal. Like, if I'm going to see you this Wednesday, we have to hangout after and if I don't, ikaw na magdedecide" Aniya at nagulat ako sa sinabi niya
Ohmygosh. Ano raw???? We're going to make hangout if he's going to see me? So, magpapakita na lang ako sa kanya? Omg. Kahit wala ng deal, kahit he won't be able gonna see me, makikipaghangout ako sa kanya. Charot. Lagot ako kay Daddy.
"Um wait, we're going to hangout?" Pagca-clarify ko sa kanya kasi mukhang hindi ko pa ata nage-gets and he nodded naman "Yup, we have to.."
"Why?" I asked him. And wow, ako pa talaga yung like parang nagrereklamo.
"I don't know. I just want to get to know you, you know" He answered and now my heart's racing now. Like shet, he wants to get to know me raw! Ohmygosh.
This Juan Gomez de Liaño wants to get to know me.
"Alam mo, you can get to know me naman kahit wala ng deal and we can hangout too" I told him and he looked at me as his face lightened up.
"Really?" He asks then pinunta niya naman ulit yung tingin niya sa daan.
"Yup. Just friendly hangout" Sabi ko sa kanya
sabay ngiti.
"Wait, you have a boyfriend?" Tanong niya sa akin and I shook my head, "Wala. I'm just saying na friendly hangout lang because sometimes pag may kasama akong guy like hangout din, people especially my Dad, would assume na it's my boyfriend and I'm not allowed with that yet kasi."
"Oh, you have strict Dad.." Juan trails off in an amused tone.
"Yup, pero when it comes to boys lang siya strict.." Sabi ko sa kanya "..he wants me to focus talaga on my education first" I added and tumango naman siya.
On our way home, Juan and I just keep on talking about my life and his life, and I don't know, we were just having a good time and I never really expected na I would be in a moment like this with Juan especially, tinatanaw ko lang siya sa malayo and now, magkaibigan na kami. Like, who would've thought?
Juan is a nice and funny person and ewan ko ba, mas lalo ko tuloy syang naging crush. When we reached to my village and when we are at my house na, he stopped the car and I unbuckle my seatbelt.
"Thank you so much sa paghatid Juan ah. It really means a lot to me" Ngiti ko sa kanya and he smiled also.
"No problem. Thanks for letting me drive you din."
"Well, I got to go, thanks again Juan" Sabi ko at bumaba na sa sasakyan niya "...drive safely" Dagdag ko saka sinara yung pinto niya.
Pumasok na'ko sa gate namin, papunta sa bahay namin. When I got inside, I was met by my Mom and Dad na nasa living room nagwa-watch ng TV.
"Hi Ma, Hi Dad" Bati ko sa kanila as I went up to them and gave both of them a kiss on their cheeks.
"Hey, sabi ng kapatid mo nawala raw yung wallet mo" Said Dad and naalala ko kagad na nawala pala yung wallet ko. I almost forgot about it nang dahil sa kwentuhan namin ni Juan.
"Yes Dad. I didn't know na naka-open pala yung pocket ng bag ko where I put my wallet." I told him.
"So, wala ng natira sa'yo?" He asked again and I slowly nod my head "Yes po"
"Nandoon rin ba yung ATM mo?" My mom asked this time and tumango naman ulit ako.
And here we go, napagsermonan ako ng magulang ko saglit because of me being careless and nagsorry naman ako. Typical reaction of parents kasi sino bang hindi mapapagalitan if you lost your money diba and I understand them naman.
"Dad, where's Ate?" I asked them.
"Nasa kwarto niya, tulog" Sabi ni Daddy and kaya pala hindi sinasagot ni Ate yung mga tawag at texts ko because she's sleeping.
I went upstairs naman after, going up to my room and changed into pambahay na. Tumambay muna ako sa kwarto and decided to text Erica about what happened today.

I sent my message and waited for her to reply. She might still have a class pa siguro especially, every subject there's an allotted 2 hours.
Nagbrowse muna ako sa social media ko and the only social medias that I have is Facebook and Instagram. I have Twitter pero hindi ko masyado ginagamit. I don't count it as like parang necessity.
Only FB and IG. Facebook ko kasi is more like my personal account habang yung Instagram ko naman is like for business.
Kasi mostly ng mga posted pictures ko sa Instagram are endorsing products, promoting gano'n. Like for example, just recently, the National Book Store gave me a privilege of free educational materials from them and in exchange naman is, I have to promote their products by posting it sa Instagram.
And aside from that, like what Erica had said, nagpapart time modeling din ako. I worked at Apartment 8 Clothing as a part time model and ako yung nagsusuot sa mga damit nila tas photoshoot gano'n. I only do photoshoots twice a month from them kasi every 2 weeks, may bagong release sila.
They pay me enough naman like every photoshoot, nakaka-8k ako and nakakadiscount din sa kanila.
After browsing through my social media, I went to my business email naman and check if may iraraket naman ako and when I opened my account, kumunot ang noo when I got one and it's from Maybelline Philippines.

"Ohmygosh"
My eyes widened reading the email that Maybelline sent to me and I got so happy because, it's Maybelline! It's the most popular beauty/health industry dito sa Philippines and Newyork and being invited is like a dream come true!
Though, I don't really usually put makeup products pero it's a great feeling pa rin. You get to be part and experienced it.
Agad naman ako tumayo sa kama ko and hurriedly left my room para balitaan sila Mama at Papa.
"Ma! Pa!" I yelled running downstairs
"Wag kang tumakbo, bata ka. Baka maaksidente ka" Dad yelled from the kitchen pero tumakbo pa rin ako and nasa baba na'ko.
"Ma! I got invited sa red carpet ng Maybelline Philippines!" Balita ko sa kanila
Lumaki naman ang mata ng Nanay ko when she heard me
"Really?! That's great!"
"What's that?" Tanong naman ni Dad and napailing ko because he doesn't know pala Maybelline.
"It's a popular health and beauty industry dito sa Philippines, Dad" Sabi ko sa kanya
"Oh, that's nice to hear. Kailan ba yang event na yan?" He asked
"Sa 12th pa naman po ng December"
"Ano gagawin niyo doon?"
"I don't know Dad. Just a conference lang ata like we're going to witness and see ano yung products na ire-release nila"
Napatango naman sila and congratulated me like akala mo naman, I won something. I went back to my room after and I keep re-reading the email that they sent to me.
And then ngayon ko lang na notice na, they said, 'we are looking forward to see you and your date there'. Wait. So kailangan may date? Like pa'no naman yung mga single?
Okay na sana e. Pero kailangan ba talaga?
