The Emperor was stunned and looked at Gu Xijiu, "Xijiu, how did you get this talent? Tell me."
The Emperor looked confused, and everyone had the same feeling too! Gu Xijiu noticed their response and quickly asked the Firmament Stone for help.
The Firmament Stone answered, "There are people who gained certain talents from the gods. For example, Celestial Master Zuo and You, as well as the overlords of the three clans obtained their respective talents from the gods and established their factions. If you encounter a similar situation, that means that you were sent by the gods and would be able to rank as high as the celestial masters! Since you aren't, your lie was exaggerated!"
Gu Xijiu was having a headache and asked, "Then, how did these people get their talent?"
The Firmament Stone replied depressingly, "Thats a secret! No one knows, not even me."
Even the Firmament Stone did not know, not to mention those people at the scene.
Gu Xijiu remained silent, and the Emperor assumed she was hesitating to tell and said, "Xijiu, its alright. Its a good thing to be blessed with talent from the gods; youll not be facing any disaster."
Gu Xijiu looked at him and replied, "Your Majesty, this is a highly confidential matter. I can only tell you that I got it in my dream and I also promised the person in the dream that Id never tell anyone else."
The Emperor remained silent, and so did everyone in the basilica.
Rong Chu suddenly said, "Father, Emperor, this is not a small thing. I think we might need to get help from Celestial Master Zuo to prove it."
The Emperor frowned, "Its very difficult to find him, he is probably not in his residence now."
"Father Emperor, according to the report, Celestial Master Zuo had returned to Fucang Hall last night. Perhaps, he is still in now. Should we get someone to invite him?"
It was difficult for the Emperor to reject his suggestion. He nodded and looked at Gu Xijiu, "Xijiu, this is a critical matter. Since you claimed that you got it from the gods, well have to get the Celestial Master Zuo to verify."
He then told the bodyguard to invite the Celestial Master, "Go and invite Celestial Master Zuo for verification."
Gu Xijiu remained silent.
"Whats wrong? Why do they need verification?" Gu Xijiu asked the Firmament Stone nervously.

"Is Celestial Master Zuo the only one who can verify?"
"Yes, he is the only one who can verify."
"Can he differentiate?"
"Yes. Many years ago, someone who was very talented faked the truth, and Celestial Master Zuo discovered his lie and"
"And what?" Gu Xijiu was panicked.
"Nothing much. Celestial Master Zuo removed all his kung fu skills and threw him into the dark forest."
Gu Xijiu remained silent.
"My body is useless, and I have no spiritual power. I guess there's nothing to be afraid of even if they found out that I was lying."
"What if he could make you into a paralyzed person? All your veins would be injured, and they could permanently restrict your movements." The Firmament Stone demoralized her.
Gu Xijiu remained silent. Now that she knew that Celestial Master Zuo was really from out of this world, there was nothing much that she could do.
"By any chance, has he ever judged incorrectly before? What if he simply accused someone if he was not happy with them?"
"Unfortunately, it has never happened before. Celestial Master You was very unfriendly and rude to him, but he did not seek revenge or accuse him during the verification."
Gu Xijiu felt her blood was boiling and trembling at the same time. She could not believe that such a good idea and excuse from the modern world was not working in the current world and even got her into trouble!
"Master, why dont you twist it? Perhaps, you can tell them the person in the dream had taught you this knowledge instead of obtaining it from the gods" The Firmament Stone suggested an excuse to her.
"It's too late." Gu Xijiu replied. Her finger gently tapped the table as she began to figure out a solution.
"I'm afraid..." The Firmament Stone was worried.
"What are you afraid of when Im calm?" Gu Xijiu took a sip of the tea and continued, "Worse to worse, Ill just die another time. Perhaps, I can return to the modern world."
The Firmament Stone was speechless. It did not have the courage to tell her that she only had one chance to get reborn. She did not know that she could never be reborn again if she dies in the current world...
Gu Xijiu took another sip and at the same time, someone was reporting from the outside, "Arrival of the Overlord from the Tianwen clan."
The glass in the Emperors hand fell on the table, "What!?"
Gu Xijiu was holding her glass tightly as well.
"Overlord from Tianwen clan? Long Siye? What would he do here?" The Emperor had so many questions in his head. He quickly stood up and said, "Please." In the meantime, a person had already entered the basilica.
Everyone was surprised and amazed! The basilica was initially noisy and chaotic, but it became resplendent when he walked in. He was wearing a blue robe with a maple red jade tied at the waist string. It was very catchy as it swayed when he walked.

He was much more handsome than Long Xi although he looked slightly similar to Long Xi. The main similarities were in the elegance of their auras. He moved his gaze to the spot where Gu Xijiu was sitting and walked towards her, "I'll just sit here." His eyes were looking at Gu Xijiu's when he spoke, "Hi, miss. Would you mind moving slightly to your right?" His voice was gentle and calm.
Gu Xijiu was nervous! They looked similar and even sounded identical. The nightmare of Long Xi continued to haunt her!
She got up and said, "Sir, feel free to take this seat. I'll sit somewhere else." Just as she was leaving, a hand was gently placed on her shoulder which somehow restricted her from moving. "Its alright, just sit here." Long Siye remarked.
He was fast. Long Siye had already sat down beside Gu Xijiu even before the Emperor had the chance to say, 'How could it be like this?'. Long Siye said, "Just get me another set of tableware will do."
The Emperor was clueless about Long Siyes intention, but revenge for Gu Xixi was the first thing which crept into his mind. That must have been the reason that Long Siye decided to sit beside Gu Xijiu.
The Emperor was insecure even though he hid it behind his poker face. He smiled and said, "Seems like we haven't done our part well enough as a host." The Emperor immediately asked for another set of tableware.
The servant wanted to prepare tea for him, but he waved his hand and said, "Ill do it myself."
Long Siye had brought his own tea set which was vintage purple.
Gu Xijiu was amazed! The tea set looked exactly like the one Long Xi used before!
Even the tea she drank before she fainted was served in this kind of tea set!
His movements were so elegant while he was preparing the tea All the sequences were similar to Long Xi's.
Gu Xijiu watched him. She looked calm, but her blood was boiling inside.
After Long Siye finished preparing the tea, he filled two teacups with it and pushed one to Gu Xijiu, "Here, try this. This is an authentic tea leaf plucked just before the rain. Hope it fits your taste."
The words were precisely what Long Xi had told her before she fainted.
"Haha! It was him! He has come to test me again!" Gu Xijiu said in her heart.
Gu Xijiu replied, "Thank you, Overlord. I dont like tea."
She got herself a glass of water and smiled, "I only like drinking plain water."

Long Siye looked at her but did not answer her question. He changed the topic and said, "I have another name, a nickname which nobody knows except two people. Have a guess?"
Gu Xijiu shook her head and said, "I have no idea!"
"Long Xi," Long Siye was looking at her as he said the name.
"Not bad, I like the nickname!" Gu Xijiu was very calm.
Long Siye kept looking at her to see if she had any reaction to hearing his name. Fortunately, there was no hatred in her eyes. She just looked like someone who had met a stranger.
Long Siye felt sad, but he smiled, and then pushed the tea to Gu Xijiu again, "Try. Its delicious; perhaps you might like it."
Gu Xijiu sighed and said, "Why would you want to force me? Ive told you, I dont like any tea."
She would never drink anything offered by him.
She has forced herself to like tea in the previous life, but now, she did not find it necessary anymore.
The Emperor was worried that Long Siye would poison her with the tea and asked, "Who has the cure for this poison?"
He coughed and said, "Overlord, are you here for Gu Xixi? Her medical knowledge is excellent, and it was probably an accident that she lost the bet. Anyway, it's a very common thing." He was trying to hint Long Siye to avoid getting Gu Xijiu into trouble.

In her previous life, all her martial arts were taught by him. Hence, he was very familiar with all the kung fu she knew. However, he realized he had not seen this martial art before, so he thought to himself, "Who was her mentor!?"
Gu Xijiu frowned as she looked at him. She acted surprised and said, "I dont get what you are saying, Overlord. It doesnt seem to be relevant to you, right?" She moved her gaze to their hands which were locked to each other. "Overlord, its inappropriate for us to have physical contact. Let go of my hand, please!"
If she could beat him, she would have slapped him on his face! It was unnecessary to talk so much crap with him!
The Emperor felt more worried as he looked at their interaction. "Overlord Long, Xijiu is still young. Its inappropriate for you to hold her hands like this"
"Im checking her pulse." Long Siye replied.
Everyones eyes were opened widely. Whispers could be heard, "The Overlord came here just to check her pulse!? That is unbelievable!"
Every female in the basilica would be jealous! The girl who used to get bullied has got her luck back! Not only were princes helping her, but even the Emperor was also trying to protect her. And now, the respectful Overlord paid a special visit just to check her pulse! She was such a lucky girl!
Gu Xijiu remained silent as she observed his fair fingers pressed on her wrist. A moment later, he let go of her wrist and touched her face. Gu Xijiu did not avoid him this time. He was feeling her red birthmark, inch by inch, and it seemed that he was trying to sense something.
He withdrew his hand and looked at her, "Did you get this birthmark since you were three years old?"
"Yes." Gu Xietian quickly answered before Gu Xijiu finished her words, "Overlord, do you think this can be cured?" Gu Xietian was delighted! "Please help her, Overlord."
"Ill help her, with one condition." Long Siye said.
"What kind of conditions?" The Emperor and Gu Xietian asked at the same time.
"I want her to be my student and follow me to the Tianwen mountain."
The Emperor remained silent as he was unhappy with the request. He realized that Overlord Long was not here to get revenge but to fight for a student! The Emperor remained silent and did not show any cheerful expression at all.
All citizens who entered Tianwen clan as a student always traveled around the world to help others when they graduated and would rarely return to their home country to contribute. Now that Long Siye had finally found a talented physician from the Feixing Kingdom, he wanted to take her away when the Emperor had planned to train her to be their royal physician.
Once she follows Overlord Long to the Tianwen clan, she would not return for the at least three to five years.
The Emperor was nervous, and this time it showed on his forehead which was covered by a layer of sweat. He kept looking at the main entrance of the basilica and thinking, "When would Celestial Master Zuo arrive?"
"Xijiu, are you willing to be my student?" Long Siye did not care what the Emperor thought and shifted his focus to Gu Xijiu.
Gu Xijiu looked at Long Siye and smiled, "Overlord Long, do you mean youre not going to help me if Im not willing to follow you?"
Long Siye was speechless. He kept looking at her and only spoke after a moment, "Youre not willing to be my student?"
Gu Xijiu was smiling and said, "Why not? Its a blessing to be your student."
Long Siye paused again and said, "I thought youre not willing to do so."
Gu Xijiu was shocked, "Why not?"
Long Siye remained silent as he looked at Gu Xijiu. He seemed to be searching for something from her facial expression and body language. However, he was disappointed. Gu Xijiu looked natural and seemed to be ready to leave at any time.
It seemed to be genuine, but perhaps it was too genuine that it looked fake as well. He could not identify her real emotion and was unsure whether the girl in front of him was the person he was looking for.
As the Emperor saw them almost agree, he finally found an excuse to stop Long Siye, "Overlord Long, please hold on. She cant be your student."
"Why?" Long Siye frowned.
"Because she obtained her talent from the gods!" The Emperor answered. He continued,
"Therefore, she cant be anyones student. That includes being your student."
Long Siye was not happy and looked at Gu Xijiu, "You mean you received your talents from the gods?"
"Yes, whats wrong with that?" Gu Xijiu looked upset as she asked.
"You Youre silly!" Long Siye then grabbed her hand and said, "Lets go!"
He did not even want to stay any longer and dragged her along with him.
How could the Emperor let them go?
He instructed his best guard to block their way.
At this point, the Emperor almost thought that Overlord Long was a spy sent by other kingdoms to hunt for talents!
"Overlord Long, it would be an honor for her as well the Feixing Kingdom for you to have her as your guest at Tianwen. But because she claimed to have received this gift from heaven, she must wait for Celestial Master Zuo to verify her. After the verification, you can invite her." The Emperor was trying anything he could to keep Gu Xijiu a while longer.
Long Siye looked at Gu Xijiu. She looked calm and did not struggle. It seemed as if she was willing to go with him. This made him disappointed. Was she acting? Or did he make a mistake?
He replied the Emperor with a facial expression that suggested that he would think about it and then he spoke to Gu Xijiu, "Xijiu, lets discuss this outside."
The Emperor was shocked because Overlord Long sounded like he wanted to take Gu Xijiu away! Long Siye was famously known for holding his attacks even though he was challenged. However, when he did attack, it was catastrophic!
There was hearsay that a famous gang leader was severely injured to the point where he was about to die. Therefore, he ordered his gang to kidnap a disciple of the Tianwen clan to see him. Because he was not healed, the disciple was killed and hanged on top of a public tower by the other gang members.
This action disturbed Overlord Long who entered into the gang's headquarters alone and calmly took down the body of his disciple while surrounded by many killers. After that, he killed every single person in the gang.
He single-handedly took down the entire group which had a hundred-year history. They were now extinct from the Starry Crescent Land.
Since that day, the people of this Starry Crescent Land knew that Overlord Long was not only skilled in medicinal skills but also in kung fu. Hence, he was no longer easily provoked!
If he could wipe out an entire gang of killers alone, how could the guards of this palace stop him when he insisted on taking Gu Xijiu away? Apparently, the palace guards who had heard about Long Siye were scared and nervous even though they were blocking his way.
Long Siyes cold pair of eyes were scanning the crowd before he finally stopped in front of the Emperor. He then asked indifferently, "Your Majesty, do you think that your people can block my way? I dont want to kill anybody today. I just want to bring her away for a year, and its up to her where she wants to go after that." He was still holding Gu Xijiu in his left arm but revealed a light green jade plate with his right hand, "If you let us go, this jade plate is yours."
The Emperor was attracted by the offer because he recognized that the plate was a Tianwen token. The possessor could request for the Tianwen Overlords help regardless of the type of trouble with no strings attached!
This jade plate was so rare, and the Emperor was moved!
"Are you sure that youll keep her for only a year?" The Emperor tried to ask in a calm tone.
"Yes!" Long Siye replied.
"And youll heal the patch on her face?" The Emperor clarified again.
"Yes." Long Siye's short replies indicated he was in a hurry to leave.
"Good, Ill believe you this time." The Emperor signaled the palace guards to clear the way.
As those palace guards were forced to block him against their will, they were relieved when they saw the hand signal and immediately they stood aside.
Gu Xijiu did not expect that he would be so influential to the point that he could bring her out of the palace without any fight. It seemed that he was doing very well in this world!
But why would he insist on bringing her out? Was it because he was unhappy that she killed him in his previous life and thus, he wanted to kill her again? Or was it because he was curious how she successfully attached herself to another person's body and wanted to have her for medicinal research?
Gu Xijiu kept her eyes peeled because she used to love him in her previous life and was cheated on by him so that he could take out her heart. Therefore, she would not want that to happen again!
Long Siye dashed to the exit while almost carrying Gu Xijiu. Nonetheless, as they just walked out of the gate, he suddenly stopped and raised his head to the sky.
Gu Xijiu was curious that she too raised her head to take a look and was bewildered!
There were blue ribbons in the sky and above them was a sky-blue ship! The materials of the body of the vessel were unknown, but it was as blue as the sky. The body of the vessel had a drawing on it. The picture had a blue base and a moon among the floating white clouds. The moon was golden in color, and it looked so real that one could almost feel as if it was radiating the moonlight. Below the moon was a lark hovering in the sky.
There was a light breeze while the ship descended gently. Taking a look at it, the moon, the clouds and even the bird looked so real. This ship was actually driving in the sky, but it felt like it was riding in the sea. This was probably how immortals in heaven would travel.
Eight people surrounded the ship. Four males and four females who were about seventeen years old. The women were wearing the same colored robes and were extremely pretty. The four men were paddling on the ship while the four females were standing at the two ends of the ship, dropping blue ribbons
The ship was not enclosed, and thus, another man could be seen on the ship. This person was wearing a purple robe which made him look very illusionary. Oddly enough, Gu Xijiu could see the faces of the males and females but not the person in the middle even though he was not blocked and did not wear a mask.
She could only see his dark black long hair blown by the wind and he seemed to be drawing or painting something. He barely raised one of his hands, but with this action, his wide purple sleeve waved in the air which exposed his beautiful hand and a cat-eye ring on his finger. He seemed to enjoy waving and drawing at the same time.
"Celestial Master Zuo!"
"Celestial Master Zuo has finally arrived!"
Somebody was mumbling and when Gu Xijiu turned, she saw the Emperor leading his officials out to greet Celestial Master Zuo. Everyone was looking into the sky towards that mysterious ship. While everyone remained surprised, Gu Xijiu and Long Siye knelt down and said, "Welcome, Celestial Master Zuo!"
The Emperor was happily waving towards the ship while speaking in excitement, "Celestial Master Zuo, you are finally here!"
So, this was Celestial Master Zuo! What a splendor and cool appearance! Dazzling and glaring but it brought a leisurely and comfortable feeling instead.
"Xijiu, quickly use your teleportation powers. Lets go!" Long Siye quickly said by her ear while he released her. He believed that she would escape as soon as she was freed. However, he did not expect Gu Xijiu to walk to the side and remain there!
Long Siye was disappointed and questioned himself again. He wondered if he was mistaken.
He felt upset and pulled Gu Xijiu back to his side.
Gu Xijiu, ""
Overlord Long's actions were too fast! It was so fast that she could not escape even though she saw his hand approaching. This time, she struggled but could not escape his grasp.
"Why are you so stubborn?" Long Siye's voice was transmitted directly into her ear using a power called 'directed audio' so that only she could hear.
Gu Xijiu wanted to scream because she could not escape though she wanted to. She could no longer use her teleportation power as it would reveal her true identity.
Although Celestial Master Zou's ship seemed like it was moving rather slowly, it was traveling very quickly. When Gu Xijiu first saw it, it was still around two miles away, but it had already stopped above the palace when she turned her head again.
A piece of red silk carpet was thrown from the ship towards the entrance of the palace and was nicely laid out in front of the entrance to the palace.
The man in purple leisurely stepped out of the floating ship and slowly came down along the red silk path. The nature of the red silk was that it was so light that a bird could not stand on it! But magically Celestial Master Zuo walked on it!
His movements were so elegant, mysterious and graceful that it was almost similar to a god's. The people present were looking at him like he was a god because they could not do it. Therefore, they were willing to worship him.
Long Siye stood there and did not move. His hand which was held Gu Xijiu's became colder, and he grasped tighter.
Celestial Master Zuo finally landed on the ground right at the end of the red silk path. The waving purple robe fluttered on his body, and Gu Xijiu finally got to see him. At that particular moment, she was shocked!
"The beautiful princess!" The face of this man was surprisingly about eighty to ninety percent similar to the princess Gu Xijiu met at the hot spring! What differed was that the princess was as pure as water and as obedient as a cat.
"Was he that beautiful princess? He couldn't be, right? Or he was the brother of that beautiful princess? Were they twins?" Gu Xijiu had so many questions in her head. The Celestial Master seemed to have sensed Gu Xijiu's staring as he suddenly looked towards her.
Gu Xijiu broke out in cold sweat as she felt that his sight was so piercing that it could penetrate through Long Siye who was in front of her. She tried to look calm and continued to observe this charming person.
Her focus suddenly drifted to the forehead of that man where she saw a jewel which was as red as fire and shaped like the eyes of a fox glistening under the sunlight.
Gu Xijiu's heart skipped a bit at that moment! She had seen that jewel on the forehead of that beautiful princess too! It was identical! She then drifted to the long hair of that person, and she felt that she was even more surprised at the length of his hair which seemed to be similar too! The only difference should be their height.
That beautiful princess was about 1.78m tall while Celestial Master Zuo was around 1.85m tall! "Darn it, was this the beautiful princess? If he wasn't, he must be closely related to that princess. At least twins!
Celestial Master Zuo finally glanced at Long Siye, "Oh, Overlord Long! You are here too!"
Long Siye waved at him, "Palace Master Di, how are you doing? It has been a few years now, and you are still as good looking as before."
"Good! Overlord Long, you are looking pretty good yourself." The Celestial Master Zuo laughed in response.
With the straight face he had on just now, he was giving a warning sign to everyone not to get near him. Nonetheless, his smile was like a bunch of flowers blossoming. It was so attractive and charming.
The people here seemed to be influenced by his smile to the point where everyone in the area could not help but smile too. It was somewhat noticeable that the ladies were blushing and their hearts were pumping quickly.
Gu Xijiu's heart was beating quickly too but for a different reason! Why did Long Siye refer to him as 'Master Di'?!
"Palace master... Princess" Damn it! If I am not mistaken, he was that beautiful princess at the hot spring! He was a palace master and not the princess. She had misunderstood.
When Gu Xijiu recalled of what she did at the pool to prove to him that she was a lady, she felt angry and ashamed!
"Bastard, Little Cang! He was the damn palace master, and you should have known him since youre so knowledgeable, right? Why didn't you warn me that day at the pool?!"
The Firmament Stone felt hurt, "Master, its my first time seeing his real face. Previously, he wore a mask wherever he went. Look at the rest; they too are stupefied."
Gu Xijiu was angry, "Why is he, a celestial master, known as a palace master? He looks so feminine, wouldnt anyone mistake him for a woman?"
"Maybe it is because he lives at the Fucang Palace and he is the master of the palace. Hence, he calls himself the palace master? Nevertheless, the people usually call him Celestial Master and those who call him palace master should be someone close to him." "No!" Gu Xijiu shook her head in disbelief.
Though the appearance of this person was almost the same as the one at the pool, he looked like a man. Did he have a twin sister?

Celestial Master Zuo arrived here in time to block Long Siyes way, preventing him from leaving even though he wanted to. He was rather straight-forward too. He did not greet the emperor but inquired directly, "Wheres the person who received the gift from the gods?"
"Its her!" Before the emperor spoke, Rong Chu had pointed his finger at Gu Xijiu to answer the celestial master's question.
Di Fuyi first looked at Gu Xijiu's hand which was eclipsed by Long Siye's, before he shifted his focus to Gu Xijiu's face. Upon analyzing his appearance, he spat out a few words, "What an ugly little girl!"

Di Fuyi laughed in a slightly sluggish manner before saying, "I cant believe that you are helping somebody to speak today. Is there something between Overlord Long and her?"
Long Siye was expressionless and calmly replied, "Nothing, I just think that she could be a good student and wanted her as my disciple."

"As Ive said, she might not have received anything from heaven." Long Siye insisted.
"Whether she has received the gift or not, its my responsibility to verify, not yours." Di Fuyi smiled gracefully and though his voice was rather gentle, what he said was not. "Since she said she had received it, I must test her. If she truly is the disciple who received a gift from the gods, you cannot keep her as your disciple. If she is not, she has sinned and all her external abilities must be removed. She will be thrown into the Dark Forest where survival will depend on her luck. Hence, you still cant keep her as your disciple."
Long Siye wrinkled his brows, "Celestial Master Zuo, shes still a kid! Why must you kill all?"
