It was early in the morning when I heard a scream.
I sat up on my couch.
I could still hear the screams.
Kaneki...!
I quickly dashed into his room.
When I arrived, Kaneki was sitting on a chair.
His kakuja wiggled uncontrollably as he sat there.
He must be having a nightmare.
I quickly ran towards him while dodging his kakuja.
I was only a few centimetres away when his kakuja stabbed my ribs.
I fell on Kaneki and took this as a chance to hug him.
My ribs healed as I embraced him.
"It's okay," I whispered in his ear, "I'm here."
Kaneki's kakuja slowly returned into his back.
His eyes opened.
"Y/N..." he whispered.
Kaneki's eyes darted towards my rib.
"Damn it...!" Kaneki mumbled under his breath.
"Hey."
I grabbed his face.
"Look at me," I said, "I'm a ghoul, I heal fast so don't worry. Besides, shouldn't you be worrying about yourself? You had a nightmare and it seems like you're a bit stressed out."
Kaneki instantly hugged me.
"I'm sorry," he said.
I chuckled.
"It's fine," I answered, "I barely felt anything."
I lied, I'm dying insid-
Kaneki tightened the hug.
I sighed and smiled.
"You know, I can sleep with you if you want," I said.
Kaneki released the hug.
"Eh?"
I sat on his sofa.
I then patted the place beside me.
Kaneki instantly sat next to me.
After that, I rested my head on Kaneki's shoulder.
"This might be a bit uncomfortable, but it'll have to do," I said quietly.
"Are you sure you're okay with this?" Kaneki asked.
I nodded slowly.
"It's better that constantly running from one room to another, right?" I replied with a low chuckle.
I then closed my eyes.
"Good night..." I mumbled quietly.
I then drifted off to sleep.
I was woken up by the feeling of the warm morning sun on my face.
I looked towards my left to see Kaneki sleeping peacefully.
I hold his head while trying to get up from the sofa.
I then carefully lied him down on the sofa.
He didn't move an inch.
I smiled at Kaneki's sleeping face.
He was sleeping with his mouth slightly opened.
So cute...
I took one last look at Kaneki before deciding to go back to my room.
While walking towards my room, I figured that maybe I should explore the city again.
Suddenly, I heared footsteps coming from behind.
"Miss Oomori!"
I turned my head.
"Naki...?"
Naki suddenly crouched down on the floor.
"You were here all along..." Naki said, "You were here all along and I didn't notice! I really am an idiot! Oh Yamori, please forgive me!"
I crouched in front of Naki and hugged him.
"It's okay," I said, "I forgive you."
"You...do?" Naki asked.
I nodded and smiled.
Gagi and Guge appeared a few moments later.
I released the hug.
"Naki, Gagi and Guge are here," I said to him, "I must go now, is that okay?"
Naki nodded.
"Please be safe," Naki said.
I stood and waved at them before continuing to walk to my room.
When I reached my room, I changed into a F/C shirt and some jeans before wearing my F/C boots.
I then put on my F/A jacket and wore my F/C scarf and my surgical mask.
After that, I tidied my F/C hair before exiting the building.
I walked into the busy streets of Tokyo.
As I walked, I suddenly get felt the urge to visit Anteiku.
I know that visiting them is risky, but I couldn't help myself.
I missed them.
I missed everyone back at Anteiku, even Touka.
I then gather up my courage to go towards Anteiku.
A few minutes later, I found myself standing in front of the door that leads to Anteiku.
"Do you think I'm the right person for a problem like this?" I heard a voice said.
That must be Nishiki.
"What does it feel like to fall in love?" a petite voice asked.
Ah, that must be Hinami.
I then heard a sigh.
"You know, it's not that logical," Nishiki answered, "And it's really hard to explain, it's just..."
"It's just, what?" Hinami asked.
I decided that it was time to enter.
I took off my surgical mask before opening the door and entering the shop.
"Love means that you're willing to do anything for them no matter the cost," I said with a smile.
Hinami gasped.
"Onee-chan!" she yelled.
Hinami ran towards me before giving me a hug.
"I missed you so much!" she said.
I chuckled.
"I missed you too," I answered.
Hinami then released the hug.
I looked towards Nishiki with a small smile.
"It's been a while," I said in my Phoenix tone, "Nishio Nishiki."
Nishiki blushed a bit before turning his head away a little.
"Come on, I know you missed me!" I said in my normal.
I then walked closer to him.
Nishiki hugged me.
"Shut up," he said quietly.
I hugged him.
"I missed you too," I answered with a smile.
I released the hug.
Koma and Irimi then appeared.
"Oho, look who's back!" Koma said with a chuckled before hugging me.
"Hello, Koma-san!" I said with a laugh.
Koma then released me as Irimi came towards me.
"Welcome back," Irimi said with a smile.
I hugged her.
"Thank you," I said.
Irimi hugged back before releasing me.
Suddenly, the door bell rang as Anteiku's closed doors opened.
"Ah, welcome..." Nishiki greeted.
A man with purple hair and an expensive looking suit walked into the shop while smelling the air.
He raised his head before covering his eyes with his left hand.
"The thick smell of coffe, and also the scent from Y/N and Kaneki that can still be smelled in this café..." the man said dramatically, "This scent is a mix of delicious foods and drinks, it's feels so El Dorado!"
We all stared at him weirdly, well more like they.
"I'm right here you know," I said to him.
The man looked towards me with a shocked face.
"It's been a while, Shuu-chan!" I said with a cheeky grin.
Tsukiyama smiled.
"It's been so long," he said.
I ran towards him before hugging him.
"I missed you," I said.
"I miss you too," he answered with a chuckle.
I then released him.
"Is Yoshimura-san here?" Tsukiyama asked.
"He's upstairs," Irimi answered.
Tsukiyama nodded.
"I must go and see Yohsimura," he said to me, "I shall talk to you after I finish."
After that, he walked upstairs.
Hinami turned to look at me.
"Onee-chan, how's onii-chan doing?" she asked with innocent eyes.
"He's been doing okay," I answered, "Don't worry, Onee-chan's been taking care of Onii-chan."
Hinami smiled.
"That's great, Onee-chan!"
Suddenly, Koma and Irimi nudged Nishiki.
"What?" Nishiki asked them.
Koma coughed.
Irimi only smiled.
Nishiki sighed and blushed.
"Hey, Y/N," he said, "Do you want some coffee?"
I grinned.
"Sure!" I answered.
I then took a seat near the counter as Nishiki made me a cup of coffee.
Hinami then took a seat in front of me.
"So, how have you been Hinami-chan?" I asked curious of the things she did while I was gone.
"I've been a bit lonely since you and Onii-chan weren't here," she admitted shyly, "Touka-nee is busy studying for the entrance exam to Kamii University, so I felt kind of lonely."
I lowered my head a little.
"I'm sorry for leaving you, Hinami-chan..." I said guilty for leaving her.
Hinami smiled.
"It's okay, onee-chan!" she said cheerfully, "I've been helping around Anteiku, so I'm not that lonely!"
I put on a small smile.
I knew she was only saying that to make me feel better.
"How about you, onee-chan?" she asked me.
"Well, I've met a lot of my old friends," I answered.
"The ones that onee-chan told me about?" Hinami asked curiously.
I nodded.
"One day, I'll introduce them to you," I said with a smile.
Hinami grinned.
Nishiki walked towards our table while carrying a cup of coffee.
He then put the cup in front of me.
Nishiki nervously stood beside me as I took a sip.
"Wow, this tastes better than it usually does!" I said to him.
"Are you mocking me...?" Nishiki asked with a smile as his eyebrows twitches.
I waved my hand in a dismissing manner.
"I was joking," I answered with a smile, "But seriously, your coffee tastes way better! You really have improved."
Nishiki's cheeks turned red.
"Thanks..." he said quietly.
I finished the coffee in a matter of seconds.
A few moments later, Tsukiyama appeared from the Staffs Only door.
He then walked towards Hinami and me.
"So how did the meeting go?" I asked him.
"It went smoothly," Tsukiyama answered, "But there is one request that I want to ask of you."
I tilted my head a little in confusion.
Tsukiyama extended his hand.
"Would you like to explore the city with me?" he asked with an inviting smile.
I blinked my eyes in confusion.
"Uh...sure," I answered, "Why not?"
I slowly took his extended hand as he pulled me out of my seat.
Nishiki cringed.
Hinami jumped out of her seat.
"Can I come too?" she asked excitedly.
"Of course," Tsukiyama smiled warmly.
I looked towards Nishiki.
"Do you want to come too?" I asked.
He shook his head.
"I have a shift," he answered, "But promise me something."
Nishiki took a deep breath.
"Promise me you'll come back," he said.
I smiled before wearing my surgical mask.
"I promise."
