I invited him over for our Grammar test.

Okay, fine. He asked me to help him out with commas and semi-colons. How could I say no?

I ran to the door and yanked it open. He had on nerdy glasses and had his grammar textbook in one arm.
"Um...hey." I said, ushering him in and closing the door.
That's it? 'Um, hey'?
"Hey. So, um, when exactly do you use a comma?"
"Well, see....you uh.....when you list things! ....You uh, put a comma. For example, if you're listing three things; apples, bananas, and oranges. You would put a comma after apples and another comma after bananas." I explained.
Wow, I can't even string two words together.
He smiled his million dollar smile at me. "Thanks."
"No problem. Um, wanna stay for dinner?"
"Sure."
And we lived happily ever after.
