Seoul
"What is this?!", a father smacked his television screen, "where's the match?!".
His son raised the volume up, "Dad! Dad! Wait! Where have I seen him before?"
"General Sungsoo?", the father's eyes widen.
Everyone in the country was watching the broadcast. Only the general could be seen by the citizens, Jeongyeon was safe from view. The citizens couldn't believe what they were hearing.
Police Station
The officers were baffled as to what erupted in their backyard, "someone better tell me good news!".
"We're trying sir! We can't seem to pinpoint the origin sir! Our systems keep pinging to different countries, these hackers aren't playing around.", the officers were far outskilled by Momo, they can't catch up to her cat and mouse game.
Even though Momo was skilled in this game, she still was nervous for Jeongyeon. Her legs bounced as she watches her screen, "God please protect him, don't let him get arrested." she prayed.
Meanwhile ...
Mina sat on the couch beside Chaeyoung, she pulled the girl closer as they watched what goes on.
"Aunt Mina? Who is that?"
"A bad man sweetie, a very bad man.", she said caressing the younger girl in her arms.

"I killed Yoo Kyungwan a long time ago." Sungsoo said, "there's no way in hell he's still alive! I left him for dead.".
"Well I'm standing right before you sir. And I'm very much alive.", He clenched his sweaty fist, he was nervous but he can't show it. He fought long and hard to stand before the man that killed those who he cared about. He spent most of his second life for this day and he's not going to let it slip, "why?! Tell me!", Jeongyeon asked, "why did you betray this country? On the 13th of July 2012, why did you kill Unit Six?!".
Sungsoo chuckled deeply, it sounded so evil, "you spit nonsenses son. Where is your proof?! You can't go anywhere saying I ordered to kill a bunch of my men." Sungsoo smiled, "stop wasting my time and leave.".
Jeongyeon stood tall, undeterred by Sungsoo's bluff, "you fired your assistant Kim Youngsoo on the same year, you sent him far from Korea to the Philippines. He couldn't contact anyone, even his own family." Jeongyeon watched the general closely, he could feel a change of aura around him, "if that doesn't sound suspicious enough, shall I talk about Lee Kyunghee? The woman you had a love affair with and threw her away as if she's nothing? I wonder why? Was it because you were afraid to get caught or ... did she knew something more than she should?".
Sungsoo frowned upon hearing how Jeongyeon knew so much of him, "you are getting on my nerves boy, all of those were pure coincidental! I didn't order anyone to kill unit six!".
Jeongyeon pulled out a small recorder and pressed play, he made sure the camera picked up the audio, "back in 2012 Unit Six were sent by General Sungsoo to steal Nuclear plans made by North Korea. However, the General had other plans, he sold back the documents to North Korea for 10 billion dollars and established a relationship with the corrupt General's of North Korea. He then staged the assassination of Unit Six." the audio was from Kim Youngsoo when Jeongyeon got a hold of him in the Philippines.
Jeongyeon put back the recording in his pocket and smirked at Sungsoo, "shall I remind you about Jung Joonho, who did your dirty work to kill Unit Six ... YOUR CADETS! MY BROTHERS!? He was sent by Myoui Hakaru from Japan too." Jeongyeon took a deep breath, "don't waste our time and confess ... Sir.".
Police Station
"SIR! Jung Joonho was the guy we found in front of the police station last week! He refused to talk! He's the killer?!" one of the police officers yelled and looked at the chief, "what is happening here, sir? Who is behind this whole thing?!".
The chief was watching the TV with anxious eyes, "we need to move quickly. Locate me Sungsoo's mansion! I think we have an arrest warrant for this man.".
Sungsoo's Mansion
Sungsoo was sweating profusely, he was trigger itchy, he couldn't believe someone figured everything out. He made sure to hide his tracks carefully, "you're very clever boy, I wonder how hard you've worked to find all that out, you should work with us instead of wasting time blackmailing me.".
Jeongyeon looked down and smiled, "I rather die AGAIN than working with you and THEM.".
"Them? Do you know who 'THEM' are?" Sungsoo leaned in, the camera wasn't enough to capture the hatred in his eyes, "you're talking about the strongest country in the world son! The work outside the world's laws! Be on their side and you wouldn't have to worry about anything in life. LOOK AT ME! I make more money with them than I do with this shit country!"
"I wonder on who will you use all this power." Jeongyeon baited him.
"One aspect we need to work on, you ask stupid questions. We start with here. South Korea has been resisting the North for far too long. Then we move onto others.".
Jeongyeon clenched his jaw, "Jeongyeon, calm down ... please, we are almost there. Don't lose your temper." Momo said.
"You know thinking about it, you were always a hard head but you were one of the best. I liked you boy. You always showed potential, but now, I know you'd be an amazing asset to our cause." the General leans back and inspected Jeongyeon with a proud gaze he used to give him back in his military days.
Jeongyeon wanted to puke, he no longer wanted the man to look at him the way he does, "you want to know my opinion sir?" Sungsoo lifted his head in anticipation, "I think you'd fit well in prison.", Jeongyeon pointed at the bookshelf behind him.
Sungsoo was confused, he squinted his eyes and finally saw what Jeongyeon was pointing at, "this- wh- what is this?!".
"Your downfall Sir. Killing is never the solution I learned that recently." Jeongyeon smiled thinking about Mina.
Simultaneously, they both heard sirens outside the mansion and blue and red lights littered the sky. The police came ready to arrest him after an instant order from the Ministry of Defense.
"Jeongyeon you need to leave now! The police are here! RUN!" Momo screamed into his ear, "broadcast off!".
Sungsoo panicked and in the midst of him panicking, Jeongyeon saw an opportunity to escape the window. Before he jumped off he heard Sungsoo say, "you'll regret this Kyungwan!" Sungsoo fired his gun but missed Jeongyeon by a hair, his bullet shot the window sill Jeongyeon jumped off from.
Jeongyeon pulled out a mask and cap inside his jacket, "good luck finding a dead guy.".
"SON OF A BITCH!" Sungsoo yelled before the door burst open and officers filled in the room.
"General Kim Sungsoo! You are under arrest! PUT DOWN THE GUN SIR!" Sungsoo was cornered, he slowly lifted his hands and accepted his fate.

As soon as Jeongyeon stepped out the property, a police officer saw him. "YOU! GET BACK HERE!" Jeongyeon ran as fast as he could. He ducked and swerved the streets hoping to dodge the police. He looked behind and saw them getting closer making him lose hope.
'This is the end Jeongyeon-ah' he thought as flashback came of the last few years of his life ... from changing to Yoo Jeongyeon ... meeting Myoui Mina ... everything was crossing his mind until a speeding car halted and its passenger door open.
"GET IN LOSER!"
Jeongyeon couldn't believe his eyes, Niko was the one driving. He drove fast, the police was catching up to him. Two police cars were behind them. "Can you handle this? Or shall I drive?", Jeongyeon panicked, he was unsure of Niko's abilities or intentions.
Niko winked before he drove between cars, even Jeongyeon was shocked with his driving skills. They slowly but surely lost the police.
Silence.
"Should I run away from you too?" Jeongyeon glanced at Niko. He was left with no weapon to defend himself so if Niko attacked he could.
"I came to help."
Jeongyeon's eye twitched, "why? I thought you hated my guts." Jeongyeon's hand reached slowly for the car door, he was afraid all of this was an act.
Niko saw the slight of hand and quickly locked the doors, "do you want to die?! I'm going over 80! If you bail Mina will be alone! Then I'll make sure you're dead!" Niko yelled but calmed down, "I think it's time to move forward and forget the past.". Niko glanced at Jeongyeon and saw the latter had his jaws dropped. "I took uncle's Haytham's place, and I don't want to keep fighting ... I still want Mina around in my life and, unfortunately, you're my sister's boyfriend." Niko was met with silence, "you're serious about her right?". Jeongyeon felt flames coming out of Niko's mouth.
"Fu- yes. YES! More than serious. I'm going to marry her when everything ends." he looked back to see anyone following them but luckily they lost them.
"I'm glad to hear ... I hope to see her in a beautiful wedding dress. She deserves to be happy, finally. With everything, I put her through. By the way, I watched the broadcast, I would've put a bullet between his eyes if I were you.".
"That was the plan ... but someone changed my mind.".
Niko smirked, "let me guess ... Mina noona?".
Jeongyeon nodded, "your sister is something else.".
"She is, but it's unfortunate she had to fall for someone like you." Jeongyeon felt hurt by what Niko said but he doesn't hold it against him since it was true, he doesn't deserve someone like Mina, she was too pure for him. But life had other plans. Niko continued, "I won't stand against your relationship, but you need to PROMISE ME, you're going to keep her safe and make her the happiest girl alive! Or mark my words Yoo Jeongyeon, I will find you and I will cut your throat!".
Jeongyeon didn't feel at all threaten because he knew, there isn't anything in this world stopping him to make Mina smile, "don't worry, she's in safe hands.".
Niko smiled and parked the car where he was told to. Jeongyeon stood among the parked cars in a secluded parking lot, he opened the cover and revealed a yellow Lamborghini, "thanks for the gift Momo.".
He sat behind the wheel and looked forward, "it's over ... now for a new chapter." he revved the engine and drove off.

Hideout
Mina paced around the living room, the tv was on 24/7. Momo won't pick up her phone. She couldn't reach Jeongyeon for sure, people were talking and Mina was panicking. She had no confirmation as to Jeongyeon making it alive or not.
Chaeyoung small feet dragged her into the living room, she saw Mina mumble to herself and glancing back and forth to the tv and her feet, "Aunty Mina ... what's happening?" Chaeyoung asked innocently.
Mina sat down and cupped Chaeyoung's face, "hey honey, everything's fine. How about you go and play with uncle Donghae outside, hm?" Mina tried to put on her best gummy smile to calm the child down.
Chaeyoung ran out to the garden as the news reported on Sungsoo's arrest, "General Sungsoo trial will be held soon. Police have apprehended a handful of mafia leaders who are working with corrupt politicians and now police are working to arrest these politicians. The police are assuming the mysterious hacker was the one responsible for the successful arrest. People are naming him a hero after his reveal of the truth.".
Mina smiled, "my hero.", her eyes got teary, she wished Jeongyeon would come home soon.

Seoul Police Station
A loud bang rang through the chief's office, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S DEAD?!" he hollered at his officers.
"Yoo Kyungwan was marked as missing in action sir. His body was never found sir. All the other Unit Six member's were accounted for but not him." the officer read off Yoo Kyungwan's report from the military. "Whoever was in that office covered their tracks really well, we couldn't find a single trace of them at all." the officer wanted to speak but hesitated.
"Spit it out son!".
"I- ... um ... do you think Yoo Kyungwan survived sir?".
The chief sighed, he read of one of the other unit six members, "Son Chaeyoung ... deceased ... multiple gunshot wounds and shot through the head ... another deceased ... multiple gunshot- same story for all of them. Do you really think one single person would've to escape what seemed to be a massacre? I don't think so, officer. If this was an assassination as the general seems to be behind, Yoo Kyungwan being the leader was the biggest threat and they needed to get him out of the picture quick. It's highly unlikely he's still kicking around.".
"So ... how do we arrest a dead man?" the officer asked.
"We can't dumbass ... that's the problem!" the chief huffed in frustration. "We need to keep searching. There has got to be something! No one just puffs into thin air.".

Hideout
"MOMO! Momo momo momo!", Momo just arrived at the safe house and Mina immediately ran towards her and wrap her hand around her shoulder, "please please tell me Jeongyeon is safe!" Mina pleaded to Momo.
"He's okay Mina. don't worry. He just needs to hide for a while before he can show his face again." Momo caressed Mina's back to calm her.
"Where? I need to see him!"
Momo shook her head no, "no one can Mina. not even me. I honestly don't know where to find him. All he asked for was a car, that's all I know." Mina glared at the woman. Momo rolled her eyes, as if Mina threatening her was scary. "Mina don't-" suddenly Mina's anger turned into globs of tears running down her face. Momo was shocked, "MINA MINA please don't cry! He'll be back don't worry!" Momo was not accustomed to take care of a pregnant woman whose emotions are triggered so sporadically. She hoped Jeongyeon comes back soon or not she might go crazy.
Mina's crying turned into sobs, "I just want to hear his voice, is that too much to ask?" she hit Momo in the chest.
Momo unaffected cupped Mina's cheeks and smile, "you look cute when you're mad."
Mina can't help but laugh.
"All this stress isn't helping the baby." Momo warned her.
Mina hummed and looked down sadly, she caressed her stomach, the baby was getting bigger and bigger, "your father doesn't know about you yet. But I'm sure he'll be ecstatic to hear about you ... wait for him okay?".
Momo almost cried seeing how Mina needed Jeongyeon by her side, she'll make damn sure that baby doesn't become fatherless, "he'll come back to us, don't worry.".

One month passed ...
The Seoul chief officer held a press conference updating his civilian's on the Sungsoo case. Reporters flocked in the halls, cameras were flashing, newscasters were broadcasting live. He took a deep breathe and spoke, "... As chief and head of this investigation, we are in need to the citizen's help. We are in expanding our investigation on finding the hackers of the broadcast and accepting any tips regarding the arrest of General Sungsoo. If anyone has any kind of information please call ..." the press conference went on smoothly.
Momo was watching the tv with Eunhyuk at the grocery store to buy food supplies for everyone. She observed everyone in the vicinity and heard people whisper.
"Help arrest a hero? Why should we?"
"Find them? We should thank them!"
"Our country is clean because of them, General Sungsoo was aiming to be the secretary of defense in this country, imagine if it weren't for them, what would happen to us?"
People were rallying up behind Jeongyeon, no one wanted to lock him up. Momo knew when the police asked for the citizen's help, they weren't expanding their investigation, it just meant they were in a dead end and there were no other leads than outside eyewitness.
Chaeyoung ran towards Momo and held her waist, "mommy can uncle come home now?".
Momo smiled down and caressed the little girls head, "it seemed so my love, it seems so.". Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Eunhyuk happily dancing hearing the news, she squints her eyes at him. "Chaeyoung baby ... we don't know him." Eunhyuk stopped abruptly and ran to follow them both out.

Police station
"Chief, we've spent too much manpower and time finding them. We should put a close to this case." Sungmin's assistant sighed in defeat.
"They hijacked our broadcasting network! Albeit, with good intentions. But still!" Sungmin smacked his desk, he knew there was no other way than the citizen's help in finding whoever helped them with the arrest, but the citizens wouldn't help them. They knew if the police ever found out who they were, it was immediate jail time for their heroes.
"Sir ... may I speak freely?" The chief nods, he knew what the officer was going to say, "Yoo Kyungwan or not ... he's done good for this country and I think the court thinks so too. Let us close this case and track down far more important 'criminals'.".
The chief knows closing this case was the best idea, Yoo Kyungwan or his team has not popped out any radars. "I know officer Kan, I know I should ... but I cannot let this case close for the just of the system ... I'll let the court decide." The chief knows this was a losing case from the start, there was no sufficient evidence for any arrest.

Hideout
Silence, Momo and Mina waited for the ruling to start. It was the most anticipated case in Seoul, everyone's eyes were glued to their TVs, hoping their hero would be set free. The court was supposed to finish right about now. Mina held Momo's hand, she was squeezing for dear life. Then the ruling came, the newscaster reported, "the court has ruled the case to be closed due to insufficient evidence gather by the police ..." Momo jumped out of her seat it startled Mina for a bit. It wasn't just Momo who jumped for joy, but everyone that believe Jeongyeon was innocent and should be locked up. Mina's heart beat loudly in her chest. She can't wait to have Jeongyeon back in her arms.
Meanwhile ...
what you have done for Jeongyeon has been working most of the time, working on erasing every part of his past life to start a new. Before hiding out he said goodbye and thank you to Son Youngsik for providing everything he has given Jeongyeon for a second chance. There wasn't anything in this life he could do to bring back his son, Son Chaeyoung, he wished he could but Youngsik said, "me son ... was more than enough to bring peace to me and my son ... also to you Kyungwan. Thank you." Jeongyeon left telling him to sell everything under his name and erase any kind of ties to Yoo Jeongyeon.
Jeongyeon knew it's time, "Myoui Mina ... I'm coming home.".

Hideout - Yoo Manor
Momo heard the rev of the new Lamborghini she bought for Jeongyeon, she knew it was him stopping in the driveway in the middle of the night. She rushed to the front door, she saw him closing the car door. He smiled at her. She couldn't help but to run and give him the biggest hug. "JEONGIE! YOU'RE HERE!".
"Oof," Jeongyeon was elated to see Momo but he couldn't wait to see Mina, "hey Mo, I missed you too." Momo wouldn't let Jeongyeon go, but then she remembered, Mina was pregnant and she hasn't told Jeongyeon yet!
She dragged Jeongyeon inside, little Chaeyoung greeted her uncle and talked non-stop on how much Mina missed him. "YOU! WAIT HERE! CHAEYOUNG ENTERTAIN HIM! I'll go get Mina!"
Jeongyeon wanted to wake her himself but Momo was faster. He guessed he's stuck with little Chaeyoung on his lap.
"Mina ... Mina ... MINA!" Momo shook her awake.
"Hmmm ... Jeong-" Mina tried adjusting her eyes to the dim room, her dreams were of her man and when she was half awake, she thought Momo was him. She was about to give Momo a kiss.
"WHOA THERE HOT STUFF." Momo held out her finger stopping Mina's lips. "Jeongyeon's back!". That woke Mina up, she wanted to rush down but with her belly growing she needed to be careful. "We ready to tell him? I'll bring him up." Mina nodded, she couldn't wait.
Momo giddily ran downstairs and saw Chaeyoung squeezing Jeongyeon's face to look funny. She wanted to admire the sight but Mina was waiting, "CHAE close uncle's eyes!" Chae did. "Jeongyeon ... I'm going to hold your hand okay? Mina has a surprise for you.".
Jeongyeon thinking it was a surprise unsuited for children's eyes, he questioned, "Um ... Mo, shouldn't you and Chae not be around for it then?".
*SMACK*
"Stop thinking like that! NO. It's not that kind of surprise. We all want to be there for you to hear.".
Jeongyeon was utterly confused. He follows Momo's orders. They walked slowly up towards the bedroom, then Jeongyeon finally hears her voice, "Jeongyeon ...". Jeongyeon's heart jumped.
Little Chaeyoung let go of her hands from his eyes, Jeongyeon finally saw her, all in her beauty. He was oblivious to the fact there was a bump on Mina's stomach. He put Chaeyoung down and slowly walked towards Mina, his soon-to-be wife, "Hi beautiful.".
Momo can't wait. Momo was shaking.
"You look so beautiful with short hair." Momo wanted to smack Jeongyeon in the face, he thought the surprise was Mina cutting her hair! He didn't notice the bump on her stomach, 'typical Jeongyeon'. Mina giggled when he was finally standing before her, caressing her new cut hair.
"Baby ... you really like it?" Mina caressed his hands.
"I love it. It's a wonderful surprise, but did it need to be this elaborate?" Jeongyeon can't wait to kiss those lips.
"Not quite THE surprise my love ... there's something bigger." she held onto his hands. She guided them down towards her growing belly, "I'm actually-"
"PREGNANT!" Momo couldn't keep it in any longer. She's very bad at surprises. Mina's hand stopped midway and glared at Momo standing by the door. Momo panicked, she never panicked, "it was Chaeyoung!" she accused of her kid, who in turn looked at her mom in disbelief.
Jeongyeon couldn't focus on the anything apart from the word Momo yelled out. He froze as Momo and Chaeyoung bickered in the background and Mina rolling her eyes. Jeongyeon never left his gaze on his fiance. "Y-you're ... p-pregnant?" Mina even forgot she was going to tell Jeongyeon.
She continued to place Jeongyeon's hand on her belly, "yes Jeongyeon ... I am. He's a healthy baby boy. He's going to be tall, just like his father." Mina gave him her gummy smile, he kept staring and feeling her belly.
"H- he? It's a- it's a boy?"
Mina cupped Jeongyeon's face and whispered to him, "surprise my love. And welcome home from both of us." she finally felt Jeongyeon's lips on her. Jeongyeon finally recovered and was brought back down to earth, he stared into Mina's eyes and grinned.
Jeongyeon gave Mina a passionate kiss, "I love you Myoui Mina" Jeongyeon had tears in his eyes, he couldn't believe this was happening.
Chaeyoung tugged on her mom's pants, "mommy ... did we break uncle Jeongyeon?". Momo laughed at little Chaeyoung's comment and said, "no baby ... he's just VERY happy.", she can't wait for Jeongyeon and Mina to start their little family.

Months passed ...
Jeongyeon finally walked on the land he avoided for far too long. He kept his focus on what is ahead of him. He smiled when it came to view, he stared down and followed each letter's curves. Those letters read, 'Son Chaeyoung'. "It's been a too long brother." Jeongyeon saluted at his grave, he kneeled next to the tombstone.
Jeongyeon noticed the wilted sunflowers, he knew who's been here a few days ago. "I hope she doesn't cry as hard when she comes around Chae. I knew how much you hated seeing tears in her eyes. I hope she can finally find peace because of me.", he sighed, he has never visited this close to his grave before. He watched from afar. He saw Sana multiple times during his visit. He always wanted to hold Sana when she cried and hugged the tombstone, but he never did. Chaeyoung would've smacked him in the head if he could. But Jeongyeon had his reason, he's supposed to be the one laying next to him.
Jeongyeon looked behind him and the same stone carved with the name 'Yoo Kyungwan'. There weren't gifts from any visitors but it was well kept. "Not even death can tear us apart hyung, I'll always be beside you. Isn't that what you said once Chae?" he turned around to face him. "I'm sorry I never came around Chae. I hope you understand. I missed you dearly brother. Never once have you left my mind ... a lot of things happened you know?". Jeongyeon smiled, "your father has finally smiled ... I'm glad I could be the one to give him the peace he deserved. I hope you're proud of me brother, I know I am of you. I missed you Chae.", he placed his hand on the words Chaeyoung.
Jeongyeon chuckled, "you know, fate brought me a little girl name Chaeyoung ... she's wonderful, full of curiosity just like you, she's a good friend's adopted kid. She's been through a lot. She kinda reminds me of you Chae, her smile is infectious.". Jeongyeon looked back at his love holding and rocking their bundle of joy to sleep. "Guess what Chae? ... I got a kid, a handsome baby boy, Yoo Ha-Joon, and a beautiful fiance, Myoui Mina. we're getting married in a few weeks. I know you would've loved her. I wished you were there as my best man.", Jeongyeon chuckled.
As Jeongyeon was speaking to Chaeyoung, Mina watched him. She loved that man and will always love him. Mina knew Jeongyeon needed to do this alone so she stayed back with Ha-Joon. He was sleeping in her arms, she gave her a light kiss on his tiny precious forehead and spoke, "your father will be back soon Ha-Joon, he's introducing you to his brothers. You would've had many loving uncles around you, you won't meet them any time soon my love. But know, they would've pampered you with love, Ha-Joon.". Mina saw Jeongyeon look back at her, she gave him a little wave and smile.
"I love her with all my heart Chae. you have no idea how much that woman means to me and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her." Jeongyeon pulled out the necklace that is around his neck since the day Chaeyoung was taken from him. "I kept them safe for you, brother ... I think it's time I give them back to you." Jeongyeon laid out Chaeyoung's dog tags on his grave next to the sunflowers, "maybe Sana could keep them safe for you. I'm sorry for keeping them away from her for so long. I was selfish, I needed you ... I still need you but I think it's time for Sana to hold them." Jeongyeon stood up, "I think it's time for me to go, they're waiting for me.". Jeongyeon started to remember all the adventure both of them had and the laughter, the cries, the pain, and the highs they shared together, it's been too long since Jeongyeon suppressed them. He saluted on last time, "see you soon my brother. I promise to visit more often. Love you Chae." then Jeongyeon left to begin a life with Mina and his baby boy Ha-Joon.
Jeongyeon gave Ho-Joon a kiss on his little head and then gave Mina a kiss. He rested his forehead on hers and asked, "you ready to go home love?".
Mina smiled and caressed his cheek, "my home will always be where you are love. I'd follow you anywhere Yoo Jeongyeon.".
Jeongyeon couldn't wait what the future hold for him.
