Stiles called Alec early Sunday morning and told him to get ready because they were going to the diner and nothing would stop them from finishing their meals this time. Despite it barely being nine in the morning Alec still got a burger and fries with a milkshake. Stiles ended up getting banana pancakes with chocolate milk which made Alec laugh, he couldn’t help but think of how adorable Stiles was. After five minutes Alec couldn't stop himself from asking any longer.

"Alright Stiles what's wrong. You've been twitchy and nervous since we sat down." Alec questioned taking a long sip of his cookies and cream milkshake. Stiles just smiled before shaking his head.

"Nothing's wrong. Promise." Stiles tried to convince Alec but he knew he was lying.

"Stiles. I can literally smell how nervous you are." Alec deadpanned. Stiles widened his eyes, he forgot that that was something werewolves could do.

"I just... I just want to ask you something but I'm not sure how to do it." Stiles admitted. He felt himself slightly blush which made him even more nervous.

"Oh. Did your dad tell you? I honestly didn't think he would have told you." Alec said surprised. He figured that Noah would have wanted to keep it a secret that someone else paid their bills for them.

"Tell me what?" Alec's eyes widened as he realized that wasn't what he was talking about.

"He didn't tell you? Ugh." Alec groaned knowing that stiles wouldn't let him do anything unless he told him. "It's just I thought he told you that I was the one that paid off all of your bills."

"You payed all of the hospital and Eichan bills?" Stiles asked not believing what Alec was telling him. Alec didn't blame him for not believing him because why would a sixteen year old kid have enough money to pay off bills like that.

"Yeah. A friend of mine owed me some money that I needed for something. I had plenty left over so I figured why not." Alec could tell that Stiles didn't believe a word he said, so he decided to change the subject.

"Anyway. What was it that you had to talk to me about then?" Alec saw Stiles' face turn slightly pink. He thought it was absolutely adorable, but he didn't say anything.

"I was wondering if um maybe you would I don't know." Stiles was rambling trying to figure out a way to ask Alec. He wanted to back out and not do it, but after a ‘pep’ talk from Malia he knew he had to do it. He thought back to the night before when he was hanging out with Malia.

"Malia I've got something to tell you." Stiles began nervously. This was going to be the first time he admitted this to anyone other then himself. "I like Alec and I think I'm going to ask him out."

"Good because I'm positive no one else will." Malia admitted thinking about how a couple of days ago at school she saw Liam and Alec dancing in the middle of the halls as Mason sang some country song. She distinctively remembers Alec and Liam yelling 'Yeehaw' at least twice. "You have to do it. No backing out or I'll beat you up and tell Alec myself."

"Would you like to be my boyfriend."

Alec froze not expecting anything like that. He watched as Stiles hid his face in his hands while Alec tried to say something. He didn't know Stiles liked guys.

Stiles was mortified, he took Alec's silence as a definite no. He didn't even know if Alec was interested in guys, but he decided to ask anyway, probably ruining their friendship. Stiles did what Stiles did best when he felt awkward: ramble.

"I mean you obviously don't have to say yes. I don't even know if you're interested in guys, I just figured I'd ask anyway. I don't even know what I was thinking. We haven't even really been on any dates I just thought that those times we came to the diner together made it so we didn't have to go on dates before we started dating or something." Stiles went to keep rambling, but Alec stopped him before his face could get anymore red. It was getting a little worrying now.

"I think this could be a good first date." Alec told him as their food came. Stiles was shocked into silence which didn't happen that often. Alec shyly smiled at Stiles knowing what he just agreed to.

"Wait. Does that mean you will..." Stiles didn't even have to finish since Alec was already nodding. "Okay. Great. Yeah this is perfect. I honestly didn't think you'd actually say yes."

Alec just smiled as he thought about the first time he realized how he felt for Stiles.

They were having a sleepover at Stiles' house. It was probably around three in the morning when Stiles spoke to Alec, effectively scaring him since he thought Stiles was already asleep.

"Alec if two mind readers read each other's mind, then who's mind are they reading." Alec didn't know what to make of that question, but he couldn't help but laugh a little. Stiles was obviously half asleep and just saying whatever pops in his head which made Alec laugh harder.

"I don't. I don't know Stiles." Alec laughed.

"What if soy milk is just milk introducing itself in Spanish?" Alec laughed harder not seeing the smile that made its way onto Stiles face.

"That'd be pretty special huh?" Stiles shook his head before another thought made its way into his head.

"Alec Alec! Bathtubs are just reverse boats!" Alec laughed again quieter this time, but he couldn't help but think about how cute Stiles was. That's when he realized he liked Stiles. Really liked him.

"Stiles what do you think about lasagna being the cake of the spaghetti world?" Alec asked making stiles scrunch his nose up.

"Um no. That's stupid."

"Is that so?" Alec asked not understanding how his was stupid but Stiles' wasn't.

"Yep. Very stupid." Stiles answered.

"Quick question. What do you think the height of stupidity is then?" Alec asked wanting to know what he thought was the stupidest thing was.

"How tall is Liam?" Stiles answered. Alec couldn't stop laughing no matter how hard he tried. An hour later they ended up falling asleep. Both with smiles on their faces.

"Yeah. Well I didn't even know you were into guys." Alec told him while eating his food.

"I didn't either. Until I met you." Stiles admitted. He saw Alec blush and that made him more happy then it probably should have. Stiles thought back to when he first realized his feelings for the boy in front of him.

Stiles has forced Alec to watch his favorite Star Wars movie at least twenty times since they started hanging out and he hasn't complained once. In fact Alec encourages Stiles to put it in the DVD player even though he always says he doesn't like the movie at all. According to Scott he was telling the truth which confused Stiles.

Tonight they were watching it once again and Alec still hasn't complained. Stiles watched him from the corner of his eye for once not interested in the movie. The whole time Alec looked towards him and every time Stiles didn't seem all that happy Alec would start mouthing the words and dramatically acting out the scene they were watching and that's when Stiles realized what Alec was doing.

He knew that that movie made Stiles happy so he watched it just to make Stiles happy. He also knows that him knowing the movie so well also makes Stiles happy since none of his friends really watch Star Wars. Stiles hasn't felt so cared for by any of his friends before and that made something in his heart flutter. That was when he knew he felt for Alec more than a friend should.

Stiles and Alec spent hours in that diner just talking and sharing milkshakes. If you were to ask either of them they would each say it was the best date they ever had. Neither of them could stop smiling even hours after Stiles dropped Alec off at home.

It was really late on a school night when Scott got home. Melissa was standing in front of a window while waiting for Scott to get home.

"Hey, sorry I'm back so late. I was closing up the Animal Clinic. I got more hours to earn a little extra money." Scott told her as he locked up the door.

"How much more did you need?" Melissa asked showing Scott that she found the bag of money he was hiding.

"This is payment from the dead pool. I found it in Garrett's locker." Scott tried to explain.

"This belongs to Derek? So you're just keeping it safe for him in a gym bag underneath your bed? How long have you had it?" Melissa asked. She wanted to know why her son was hiding money that doesn't belong to him under his bed.

"Too long." Scott answered honestly.

"You know you have to give it back?" Melissa told him. He rubbed his hand over his face.

"I was going to." Scott said but Melissa could hear the uncertainty in his voice.

"Do I want to know why you haven't?" She asked him.

"Because of you."

"Me? You mean because we've been struggling a little?" Melissa asked wanting to be mad but Scott had good intentions just a bad idea.

"Mom, we're struggling a lot." Scott corrected remembering the conversations he's heard between Melissa and some agencies.

"Not anymore. We don't have to worry much about that for a while." Melissa smiled. She actually just dropped her double shift knowing she wouldn't need that for a little while anymore either.

"What are you talking about? We're losing the house soon." Scott tried to tell her. He heard her say it himself, he knew it was going to happen soon and they needed money to stop it.

"We were. But now everything's been payed. We won't have to pay anything for two years." Scott was confused. Who had that kind of money to pay for them to keep their house for two years.

"But who? Who played it? Was it dad?" Scott asked, knowing that dad had some money but he knew he didn't have that much.

"No. According to Noah it was Alec. He paid all of the Stilinski's bills too." Melissa told him thinking along the same lines of how, but she didn't really care.

"But how?" Scott asked himself more then Melissa. They both came to the same conclusion.

---------

The next day at school Liam, Mason and Alec were all in the weight room since Liam wanted to workout for a little bit during their free period. Mason decided to join since Liam has been pretty weird the past couple of days. Alec joined so you could do something to get his anger out.

"That's a lot of weight." Mason said as Liam kept adding more and more weight to the bar.

"I'm trying to get ready for the game tomorrow." Liam told them. Alec sent him a look as if telling him to stop making it obvious he's different from a normal human.

"You need a spot?" Mason asked wanting to make sure Liam would be safe.

"No." Liam grumbled.

"You sure about that?" Alec asked trying to get Liam just to at least pretend he wasn't basically real life Mr. Incredible.

"Do you?" Liam asked the other two offending Mason.

"This is my warm-up, you ass." Mason told him while looking asked the smaller weights he was lifting.

"Maybe not a spotter but I could definitely use a punching bag." Alec growled out not in the mood for Liam's bratty attitude.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Liam asked Mason as he walked behind Liam.

"I'm spotting you." Mason answered as if it was the most obvious thing ever which it kind of was.

"I said I don't need one." Alec rolled his eyes at how childish Liam was being. He tried to ignore him and just focus on his workout.

"Are you kidding me? This is like 300 pounds. You're gonna kill yourself." Mason was flabbergasted that Liam wanted to lift all of that without a spot. Liam lifted the bar twice before smirking at Mason.

"Do I look like I need help?" Alec just growled before walking out of the workout room. He stalked down the hallway breathing hard trying not to let his anger get the best of him, but he wasn't doing too well. He clawed his palm trying to calm down. As he passed one of the bathrooms someone shoved him inside.

"Hey what the fuck.." Alec growled out before seeing it was just Stiles. He sighed before leaning his head against the mirror.

"Alec what's wrong?" Stiles asked putting his hand on Alec's shoulder. Alec sighed again just feeling the anger start to calm down. He knew it wouldn't change much, but any change was welcomed at the moment.

"I'm just so fucking angry and Liam wasn't making it any better. I can't fucking handle this anymore." Stiles didn't know what to do so he just pulled Alec into a hug. He forced him to just stay there and breathe.

"It'll be ok. Liam's just having some trouble right now." Stiles told him but Alec shook his head.

"He's not the only one." Stiles looked at Alec confused. He didn't look angry anymore he just looked tired and depressed.

"What's wrong?" Stiles was worried. He didn't like seeing Alec look so defeated.

"I kind of don't want to talk about. Can we just talk. About random things please?" Stiles nodded and started rambling about whatever popped into his head making Alec smile. They started walking around the outside of the school until second period was over.
