"On the road again." I sung and started humming the words after those four. Like I knew the song. "On the road again." It was mainly to just annoy Fallon, who won't talk about what happened.

"Stop or I drive." He growled through clenched teeth.

"My car, my rules. If you don't like my singing, well you can just get out." I smirked.

"I'm not leaving you out of my sight." He said turning on the radio. If it weren't for the fact that I loved the song playing, I would of turned it off and continued singing on the road again. Instead, I just sung along with this song. "Pull into Walmart."

"Why?"

"I need to invest in duct tape." I glanced over and saw him pinching the bridge of his nose. I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"Yea, not gonna happen. I would find some other way to annoy you." I said laughing.

"Laugh it up, chuckles." He turned the radio up, close to the max. I started singing again, under my breath. This time, I actually sung instead of using my annoying voice. He turned the radio down to low.

"What are you doing?" I asked when I reached for the volume and he smacked my hand away.

"You were actually singing. It was better than that person. I would rather hear your voice."

"Uhm, thank you, I think?" I stayed silent until the next pit stop. "Look at that sunset." I leaned against the car while it was filling up on gas. The sun was Red from and the clouds were dark blue. It was beautiful. It sadly reminded me of Fallons eyes compared to Zaks.

"It is pretty." He walked around and leaned on the car, offering me some Pringles.

"Why do you always wear those?" I asked, nodding at the sunglasses.

"My eyes can be distracting to other people." He put a chip in his mouth. I could definitely see that. I thought about how distracting his eyes were when I first saw them last week.

"I can see that." I looked back at the sunset. A strong Montana wind picked up and I zipped my jacket up. Fallon shrugged out of his jacket and put it on my shoulders. I looked at him, he was in a t-shirt. "Aren't you going to be cold?"

"No, I have learned how to control my body temperature. Its one of those demon things you haven't learned yet." He smiled crooked. I laughed when I caught a side view of him shiver. A big cloud went infront of the sun. I handed him his jacket, took the pump out and got into the car. I drove off south, destination, Colorado.

"I can do that as much as you can." I said as we drove.

"Want to learn something cool?" He looked towards me. I nodded. He stuck his hand out and I put mine next to his. Slowly, I watched all the water around him in the air circle his hand, and eventually incasing it with ice. Every time he closed his fist, or opened it, the ice moved with him. "You could get a pretty mean punch with that."

"How did you do that?" I asked trying it.

"How do you call on fire?" He asked.

"By feeling the heat around me and pulling it to my hand." Lightbulb. "So I feel the water in the air and pull it towards my hand?"

"Yes. You were automatically drawn to fire, I was the same but with water. Water amuses me." He said as I tried feeling the water around me. I could only get my hand to crystal over like frost. He laughed, "no one would want you to punch them with that on you."

"Shut up." I slapped his arm but I was laughing. I looked back at the road in enough time to slam on my breaks. There was a man in the middle of the road in a trench hat and coat. Fallon started growling and the man slowly lifted his hands, palms up. The Car started wiggling and started lifting. I reached for the gun in the small of my back. "Shit."

"That won't work on him." He reached for the door handle.

"Do not get out of this car!" I hissed, "we are both demons so whatever he does, we can do, too."

"He is a different level." Fallon said, not carring his glasses fell off as he whipped his head around to me.

I hesitated because of his eyes. I told myself I would kick my ass layer. "Focus on putting the car on the ground." I looked out my window at the ground. We had to be a hundred feet up. I stuck my hands out like the man, but with my palms facing down. I closed my eyes and thought about air pushing us down.

"Silver.... how are you doing this?" Fallon said slowly.

"Think of air pushing us down. Weild it." I said. I looked at him and he was staring at me like I was an animal at the zoo. My vision started taking a red hue and the car dropped. I screamed and grabbed the side of the car, but we stopped.

"You did that, I think..." Fallon said. We started to lift up more, I put my hands back in place and concentrated on the ground. I looked out the window as I forced us to fall, slowing down right before we touched the ground. I felt the wheels touch the ground and I heard a loud roar. I looked at the guy infront of us and froze at the sight of his face. His cheek was slashed and it looked like it had no skin. It looked like really bad burns all over. His teeth were razor sharp and all pointed. He had no eyes or nose, it just all blended together and where the eyes were suppose to be, it was like indents. I didn't freeze because of his looks, I froze because I knew who he was. He screamed again, it was like a big splash of water on my face.

I threw the car into first gear and drove towards him. Second, then third. "Silver, you will damage the car more than him. You won't even damage him!" Fallon yelled. "Stop!" He grabbed the wheel and I used air to bend his hand away. Fourth gear, he was 20 feet away. I made the car disappear to the image of being in Beverly Hills. "Holy shit."

"I'm not stupid Fallon." I barely said, quieter than a whisper.

"I wasn't sure what you were going to do. I honestly thought you were going to run him over."

"And hurt my baby?" I snorted, "never. It would take a lot to do that."

"Are you okay?"

"I'm peachy."

"That code for no." He said.

"Good job, you should work for the government and crack other countries secret codes." I murmured and took a sharp left.

"Don't get sassy with me, kid." He spit at me.

"Well, where are we originally suppose to go? Honestly, we would get there way faster if we just disappeared to there." I said running my hand through my hair and strumming my fingers to the beat that was holding the wheel.

"Arizona." He muttered. I glanced at him and saw his body was turned towards me and his arms were crossed.

"Here," I grabbed the phone out of my back pocket and clicked on the music. I put my favorite calming song on and handed it to him to plug into the car. "What part of Arizona?"

"Anywhere. What song is this?"

"Falling for you by seabird. It calms me." I continued humming to myself with the song.

"You sure you aren't giving me some sort of message, here?" Fallon joked. I just happened to not be in a good mood.

"You can't fall for someone you loathe." I sped up and tried to remember a scene in my head from Arizona.

"You don't loathe me." Fallon turned away from me.

"Whatever makes you happy." I said.

"You don't loathe me, I know that for a fact. If you did, you wouldn't have tried taking my pants off."

"Lust makes you do crazy things when you have big emotions like hatred." The song changed to Tigerlilly and I cranked the volume up, indicating I was done with the conversation. I finally just decided on a Dennys parking lot in Arizona. I might of created that image but it worked because at that next second, the car was parked behind Denny's in Arizona.

He got out of the car and walked towards the front of the building and with a sigh, I followed him. We sat in a booth in the very back, along the glass wall. No one said anything until we got our order of coffee and I took the first sip. "Who was he." Fallon demanded more than questioned.

"Someone my mom was very close to." I whispered after a few minutes of debating what to say. I looked out the window.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Did you notice his face, by chance?" I asked him.

"Yes, his face looked burnt and his skin looked ripped off." He nodded.

"Never use to be like that. I was only 15 and one day, I was around my moms work. I walked around her building because I, not only heard something strange, I felt a pulse through the air. I got curious and followed it. I heard the strange tearing noise again and a heartbeat speed up. Then a gasp broke through those noises and as I turned the corner, I saw my mom up against the wall, with him inside her. Her clothes were ripped to shreds. She seemed hypnotized, so I followed her stare and that's when I saw his face. My uncle Declan was there staring at her eyes. I ran at him and kicked him in the head.

"He went spiraling and I turned to my mom. She said, 'Silver? What are you doing here? Where is my clothes? Declan?' and I turned to him right as he threw himself into me. He was on top of me and said 'little girl, maybe you need a lesson like your fake mommy. Don't worry, Uncle Declan is here to teach you.'" I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Later," I skipped a big part, "when I got my mom home, I questioned her. I asked her how she remembered the day. She said she worked, had lunch with both Declan and I and then came home. She didn't remember what really happened. I sighed and went up to my room. I took a shower and when I came out, there was a note on my bed."

"Saying?" Fallon asked.

"Saying, 'don't ever cross me or go against me again. I won't be as sweet or gentle as last time.'" I said. I took a sip of coffee and then continued. "I saw that and was enraged. That was the first time my eyes went completely black. I tied my hair into a pony, put on black corset, with a bunch of pockets and hid weapons in there, I put on these awesome black skinny jeans that had buckles all over the legs and put guns and knives in there. I grabbed my tazer brass knuckles and put on some knee high, goth like combat boots. They held the longest knife I owned. I went out and searched for him. What I did to him, was beyond what I thought I could ever do to a human. But as of that day, it turned out he was never human."

"What did you do to him?" Fallon said after the waitress came and gave us our food order.

I shifted in my seat and stuffed sausage in my mouth, hoping to buy this story some time. "I had a lot of knives and bullets. I shot him in the legs, one bullet per knee cap. One in the top of his arms and his fore arms. He was screaming in pain and I kicked him up off the ground, and into the wall behind him. I grabbed him by the neck and held him there, I put a knife in each part of his body so he would hang off the wall without me having to hold him.

"He tried calling for help but I used the brass knuckles and hit him in the face. He shook for about 2 seconds but it didn't damage him. I started growling and let my teeth slide into place as I undid his belt. I pulled his pants off and well, skinned an area. I did the same with part of his face. I only did it in little sections. When I was done, I took my knives out and went to the kitchen and washed them off. Some how, he followed me in there, and when I was drying the last knife, Well, he hit me in the back with his own." I smiled at the look on Fallons face.

"I sunk down to the ground and when I laid on the ground, he grabbed a heavy small statue of a woman holding a pot. He was going to smash it on my face and when it was 2 inches from my head, he stopped. He set it down on the counter and dragged me by my hair into his bedroom. He threw me on his bed and took his pants off. I saw his knees were healed and so was a few other select places. With a sweep of his hand, ropes came from every direction and tied around my wrists and ankles. Maybe ten minutes later, I burned my way through the rope and cupped his face. I burned more than half of his face. He jumped back and screamed, enraged. Before he jumped back on top of me, I had the long knife in my hand and sticking out, catchingt him in the chest. I pushed him off and cut myself out of the ropes. I ran home without looking back." I sighed. "I should of made sure he was dead."

"What happened during the parts you skipped over." He said through his teeth.

"He did to me, where he left off with my mom. Both times." I heard the rumbling in his chest and looked around to see I'd anyone was staring. "Stop that, we don't need attention."

"I'm going to kill him." He barely spit out without letting the growl escape.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because of what he did to you!" He hissed.

"Why does it matter so much to you anyway?" I stared him down. That question stopped everything in him. He began eating again.
