Imagine:
Niall took you to his friends house for a party. When you both got there, you saw a lot of people you didn't know.
"Just stay near me okay." Niall whispered in your ear as he can sense your nervousness. You nod and grip his hand.
You both have been in the kitchen for about an hour or so. Suddenly, someone comes up to you.
"Hi! I'm Ruby." A girl smiles at you. You greet her with a tight lipped smile.
"You see that guy over there? He wants to dance with you." She giggles and points at a rugged man. Your eyes widen and step closer to Niall. Ruby's hand grabs your forearm and tries to drag you over to the man.
Niall looks behind him to see if you're alright. His eyebrows furrow when he sees an unknown girl trying to pull you away from him.
"Hey, what's going on here?" His thick Irish accent echoes. He grabs your waist and pulls you firmly into his chest. You bury your head into his shoulder.
"Oh sorry! I didn't know she was with someone. That dude over there wanted a dance with her." Ruby slurred and giggled. Niall looks over to the man and glares.
"Well tell him that there is no way in hell he will ever lay his filthy hands on my girl." Niall growls out and walks away from the drunk girl with you by his side.
