"Okay class, today we will practice the transformation jutsu." Iruka said. Naruto paled because he wasn't very good at it. It's not his fault though, being bind makes turning into other people extremely difficult. Thanks to his extremely large chakra reserves, he could get the basic outline of objects. He releases a very small, undetectable amount of chakra and it makes a thin coat over the items, including people, in the room. He can get an idea of the location and shape of everything, but not specific details. After he became blind from a certain incident, he learned how to go through everyday life really quickly, after all he is a genius.
"But senseiiiii-" Naruto complained, after all his 'happy-go-lucky' mask was up and had to act like an idiot, a fool, and a boy.
"No excuses Naruto." Iruka said. Of course he knew that he sucked at that jutsu, but not why. Iruka just thought he was too stupid to do it.
"Ok" Naruto said quietly, dropping his mask for a quick second. He always hated preforming justus in front of the class, especially the ones that required well... seeing. It was always embarrassing being laughed at and knowing that he will never be able to do it correctly. Shikamaru glanced at Naruto. He knew all the secrets Naruto kept. He knew everything. Naruto and Shikamaru have been best friends, basically siblings, for as long as they can remember, even before Naruto was blinded.
"I'll do it right this time!" Naruto exclaimed, putting his mask back up. Iruka called on each student one at a time. They would go to the front of the class, transform it to someone (Usually Iruka-Sensei), and go back to their seats after feedback.
"Sakura Haruno" Iruka called. A pink haired 'banshee' as Naruto calls her, went to the front of the class and transformed into Iruka. He told her it was good.
"See that Sasuke?" The banshee yelled.
"Hn." Sasuke, a broody kid responded. 'I still don't know why he is so popular and has fan girls clinging to him' Naruto thought. Sakura was one of his fan girls, along with a bleach blond named Ino.
"Naruto Uzumaki" Iruka said. 'Good luck Naruto' Iruka thought. Naruto knew exactly what he was going to transform into, being the prankster he is.
"Transform!" He said as he transformed into an older, naked, female (though he is), version of himself. Iruka's nose was bleeding so violently he was launched backwards.
"CUT THE CRAP!" Iruka yelled. "DON'T CREATE JUTSUS LIKE THAT!"
"HAHAHAHAHAH! Iruka Sensei, you should've seen your face! It was hilarious! That was my Sexy jutsu!" Naruto laughed.
"Tch. Troublesome" Shikamaru muttered. Naruto went back to his seat laughing his ass off.
*Time skip*
The bell for school to end went off, and everyone was getting ready to leave.
"Naruto, can you stay for a minute?" Iruka said
"Hmm. Okay fine. Wait for me Shikamaru!" Naruto said with a smile.
"What a drag." Shikamaru complained
"Oh shut it. I know you love me (A/N. anytime Naruto or Shikamaru talk about love to each other they mean brotherly/sisterly love or best friend love)" Naruto giggled. Everyone left the class, and now it was just him and Iruka.
"Naruto, you do realize the graduation exam is coming up right? You're the dead last of the class. I'm concerned for you. You are absolutely terrible at genjutsu, struggle in taijutsu, and your ninjutsu isn't the strongest either." Iruka said. Iruka was like a big brother to Naruto, which made him smile.
"It's not my fault." He pouted. It really wasn't. Without being able to see, Naruto cannot cast any genjutsu properly at all, and taijutsu was a struggle. He was actually really good at ninjutsu, but due to the idiot mask he wore, he pretended to be bad at it (mostly). "I'll work on it sensei! Bye"He smiled and waved as he ran out the door and over to Shikamaru.
"You're so troublesome," Shikamaru sighed "Let's go." They were walking to Shikamaru's home, after all it was a second home to Naruto. Naruto went over there almost every school day. His parents would feed him, talk to him, and treat him like their son. Naruto appreciated this, seeing as almost the entire village would either avoid him like the plague, or beat him due to the nine-tails (He knows about the nine-tails and his parents. After all, he was smart). As they were getting closer, Naruto released his transformation, which he used to look like a guy. Naruto's hair was now long and blond, and put into twin tails (A/N Twin tails are two pony tails. I think they are also called piggy tails maybe?). Her kill-me-orange jumper remained, but it was a little more form fitting, and her face looked more feminine now. Soon they reached the house.
"Hey mom, dad" Shikamaru yawned. They smiled.
"How was school?" Shikamaru's mother, Yoshino Nara, asked
"Troublesome. Naruto here got in trouble." Shikamaru said with a smug smile. Naruto gave him a look that said 'I thought you loved me' and paled.
"Oh. Why was that?" Shikaku Nara, Shikamaru's farther said not really listening to conversation.
"She used her 'sexy jutsu' on Iruka Sensei." He explained.
"YOU USED WHAT?!? HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT! YOU ARE IN SOOOO MUCH TROUBLE NARUKO UZUMAKI." Yoshino yelled dragging Naruto by the ear (Naruko is her real name). Naruto shot Shikamaru a 'you-are-so-dead' glare, which honestly is one the most terrifying sights.
After Naruto was given a lecture about how unladylike her 'Sexy Jutsu' is, and Shikamaru was reminded why all women are terrifying, even troublesome blind geniuses, she and Shikamaru went to go play shogi.
"Hm..." A stumped Shikamaru said while looking at the grinning blind blond (A/N She reads by putting chakra into her fingers, and coating the object with it, and has it outline the word. Told you, genius.) who is currently beating the 'Unbeatable' Shikamaru.
"What's next Shika?" She said calling him his childhood nickname.
"Troublesome. I can't find any winning strategies Naru." He replied using her childhood nickname.
"You can move this one," she said with her hand hovering trying to find the right piece. Finding the right piece, she continued "here." She put the piece in the place, then showed him each step after that depending on which piece she be moved, in order to win. This took awhile, and both parents came out at some point, to tell them something, but got distracted by the losing Shikamaru. After about 30 minutes, she finished showing him all the possible moves from there. Shikamaru fell asleep right before she finished, and she didn't notice.
"How long do you think it will take her to notice"Shikaku asked his wife while watching Naruto, who is now ranting/lecturing.
"It'll be pretty hard for her since she is blind, probably until he starts snoring-" Yoshino started until she got caught off by snoring. Naruto now knew he was sleeping. Her eyebrow twitched before raising a chakra infused fist and punched him in the face.
"AHHH," he screamed as he flew a few feet "What the hell was that-" he said before getting up to see an extremely pissed Naruto. Realizing what he did, he went ghost white. She started cracking her knuckles. Her hair was raised, floating above her head. He looked over at his father for help.
"DON'T. YOU. DARE. ASK. FOR. HELP. SHIKAMARU." Naruto said predicting what he was going to say "TAKE. YOUR. PUNISHMENT. LIKE. A. MAN" The next 5 minutes were spent with Shikamaru running around, trying to avoid the fist of death, and Naruto following suit. She could predict his moves, so she caught up and gave him a 'lesson.' His parents went inside, completely forgetting they were going to tell them something.
"Shika," Naruto said sorrowfully, moving her head to his direction, trying to look him in the eyes, but not able to due to the blindness. "I'm gonna need the cloth." He looked her with pity (not that she can see that) and nodded. He went off, and came back with a black cloth.
"Here." Shikamaru said sadly giving it to her. She tried to tie it around her eyes, but was unsuccessful. Shikamaru then helped her tying the cloth around her eyes.
"Thanks." She mumbled as she touched the cloth covering her now empty eye sockets. Kurma, the nine-tails, couldn't heal give her new functioning eyes, but could give her fake eyes, made with his chakra. However, once a week, he had to stop this leaving her with empty sockets. Kurma would always make sure she was either at her home or Shikamaru's, and gave her notice beforehand. Shikamaru and Naruto started training and in the middle of training she once again tried to look Shikamaru in his eyes. "One last thing Shika..."
"Hm?" He responded to the troublesome woman.
"What color are those flowers?" She said with sorrow pointing to a group of flowers
"Purple, those flowers are purple." He replied a sad tone, before continuing their training
