It was just a normal day like any other, the hotel lobby busy as usual. All these famous people passing by me, not noticing the one that is mostly in charge of the place. I'm not the owner or CEO or whatever, I just happen to be the friend of the CEO who made me one of the most important employees at the hotel.
"Y/N!!!!!"
I hear a familiar voice yell, making me turn around. It was my best friend, Kim Yuri.
She may look cute, but man can she be a devil. She is, of course, younger than me. This is how I look like by the way.
I look ugly.. Anyway, back to reality Kim..
I turned around and greeted her with my bright smile and a warming hug. She gadly hugs back and pulls away after.
"How you've been Yuri?"
I said, going back to my previous work. I had been working here for 3 years now, so I'm quite good with all the papers and stuff like that.
"I've been good Unnie. What about you?"
She answered, watching me work in awe. She grew up as the only kid in her house, so she always took me as her older sister. She always thought I was the queen of the world and that I deserved all the love. And I always take her as my little sister. The one who will help me with life problems, the one U always go to when I need to talk, and the one I've loved as a sister for as long as I can remember. We were even born on the same day, just different years. Alot if people, at first glance, actually so see us as sisters, which makes me happy. She can be shy but out going. Me? I'm usually the laid back one. The lazy one as she recalls. I look out into the lobby as more and more people flood in through the double doors, too many for me to handle. I look back to my work and sigh as I finish fileing the last if the papers. I turn to Yuri and bring her into a tight, loving hug. She hugs back and softly says, "What's wrong Unnie?"
I pull away and shrug.
"I guess I needed my amazing sister to hug me."
We both then laugh.
"Y/N!! YURI!! GET OVER HERE AND TAKE THESE MEN TO THEIR ROOMS!"
Another employee yells from the lobby. I sigh and smile at Yuri.
"Let's go, shall we?"
I say.
"Indeed madam"
She says, making us both laugh. I look out into the lobby at the 3 men, all wearing suits. It's actually common for men in this hotel to wear suits, considering their either idols or rich men.
"Hello and welcome to Busan Hotel, where your needs come true with the best of service!"
I say, smiling happily. All they do is scoff and wave at us with one hand. We know what that means. We grab their luggage and show them their rooms. After giving them their room, we go back down stairs and that's when Yuri is out of work for the day.
"Bye Yuri~"
I say, engulfing her into a hug.
"I hope u survive all those people. "
She says, smiling softly. We hate saying good bye to each other. She clocks out and leaves, leaving me to feel alone. I get back into reality when someone shouts at me over all the shouting in the lobby already.
"Y/N! I need you to go down stairs and take care of stuff. Got it?"
Someone said and I immediately nodded. I headed down stairs. I flip the switch. Nothing. Not even a slight dim light. I sigh and grab the flashlight we keep off the wall and descend into the darkness, not knowing what to expect. I flick the switch of the flashlight and the dim light illuminates only 5 feet ahead of me. That's enough.. I guess.. I've been down here alot so I know exactly where I need to go. I guess I wasn't watching where I was going because next thing I knew, I heard the sound of glass shattering on the concrete floor below me. I turned around and sure enough, there laid a valuable looking vase.
"Oh no.."
I said, bending down and picking up a piece. I stood back up with the piece in my hand. I shown the light on it, only to be grabbed from behind.
"What the fu-"
I started, but got cut off by a cloth or my nose. The last words I heard were..
"She's even more valuable than that stupid vase"
And then it faded into darkness..
