I groaned as I woke up with the world's largest headache. Last night—what ever happened—never again.
I tried sitting up but then felt an arm wrapped around my waist. Please tell me it's not who I think it is.
I slowly turned my head and there he was. dammit.
I lifted the covers off of me and there I was, naked. I lifted it up even more to see him naked as well, but he had on boxers which made it the situation a tiny bit better.
"no, no, no, no, no..." I started freaking out
He started to stir and move around.
"Masai" I said causing him to groan
"Masai wake up!"
He quickly got up like he had heard a gunshot or something.
"what?" He asked laying back down
"what happened...last night? why am I naked?"

I felt a little relief knowing that what he was saying is true, at least about the ass and maybe back part.

I don't find that surprising but I never would've said that out loud...sober at least.

I'll see you later" He said before opening the door and slamming it shut on his way out
Literally seconds after the door closed it opened again. For a second I thought it was Masai which made me a feel a little better but instead it was Leigh.
"what happened to him?" He asked pointing out the door before closing it
"I may have...overreacted" I said talking to him and myself
"can you pass me my boxers?" I asked "it should be somewhere on the floor I think"
He nodded then looked around the floor before tossing me my Tommy Hilfiger underwear.
"wait...did you guys...?"
"no...I don't know. he says we didn't. I was drunk I don't remember"

He stripped out of his clothes then got right into bed. I on the other hand sat on my bed for a few minutes just thinking about the whole situation before getting up to go shower.

"Cai you need to apologize to him" Taylor said through the phone
I'm sitting in the dining hall eating dinner alone since Leigh's still asleep and I practically ended the only other friendship I have. So I decided to update Taylor while eating.

"ugh I know. I felt bad right after he got up and left. "Tay it's no secret that I like him. my only concern is getting hurt"
"but nobody's saying go fuck him or even be in a relationship with him. just let him take you on a date or something. get to know each other on a deeper level"
"exactly, so why can't we do that as friends? you and I know everything about each other, and we hang out all the time. I don't get it"
"Caiah I can't with you anymore. you just gotta figure this out on your own. He likes you and you like him. naturally people who like each other try and see where that attraction can go. whether it turns into something bigger or goes no where. it won't be discovered unless you try. now I gotta go, I'm tired of your complicated life. I have enough on my plate as it is"
"Thanks Tay. I love you"
"I love you too, let me know how that works out" He said before hanging up
He's right...I hate that he's always right. but maybe I am being too hard on myself. maybe I should give him a chance, at least just to prove himself.
I unlocked my phone then went to DM him asking if he was available to meet. I sat there staring at the message waiting for a response which I eventually gave up on. Maybe I really pushed it this time.
I got up with my tray and headed towards the dish room. on my way out I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket got me excited a bit, as well as a little nervous too.
I dropped my tray off then rushed to check my phone only to be disappointed when I saw it was a text from Storm telling me to call her when I'm free.
I sighed then put my phone away before making my way out of the dining hall. I opened the door and was about to walk out when I was stopped by this dark skinned boy standing on the other side.
"my fault" He said with a dimpled smile
"no problem" I said when continued to walk past him
I was about to keep walking when I noticed that Masai was right behind him. He had his phone to his ear and looked kind've angry. I didn't know whether to interrupt or not but it was now or ever.
"Masai" I said turning around and going back up to him to tap him
He turned around and looked at me but didn't say anything.
"can we talk?" I asked even though he was on the phone
He just stared at me and continued to listen to what was being said through the phone. The dark skinned boy who I was about to bump into was now standing behind him as well and was waiting I guess.
"yeah ma I'll call you back later..." He said then hung up
ooo, he's brave.
"what's up?" He asked
"I texted you..."
"I was on the phone" He said sarcastically while raising up his phone
"yeah I see. can we talk though?"
"we're talking right now aren't we?"
He's upset obviously and he has every right to be. maybe he just needs some time to cool off.
"uh—never mind. I'll see you later" I said then turned to leave
I was kind of expecting to be stopped and chased down but nope. He let me continue walking away all the way till I got to my hall. I guess that's what I get for letting him walk away this morning. what goes around comes around.
