Chapter 3
Carter's POV
"Carter I'm your dad", he said.
"Ha ha that's very funny", I said.
"Carter I'm really your dad", he said.
I didn't say anything. I didn't want to believe that this man left my mom a month after i was born. He looks like a guy that's super nice, not someone who would leave someone.
We walked out of the airport to a blue jeep. He took my stuff and put it in the back while I got in. Then he went around to his side and got in.
"So um how old are you", he asked.
"I'm 17", I said softly.
"Oh that's right your brother is 17 too I'm so dumb sometimes", he said.
"I have a brother", I asked.
"Actually he's your twin brother", he said.
"Your funny", I said laughing.
"What do you mean", he asked.
"That I first have a brother, but that he is my twin. I thought I was an only child", I said.
"Nope Matt is your brother", he said.
This is blowing my mind. First I learn where my father is, I meet my father, then I hear that I'm not an only child and he's my twin.
"Well here we are Carter. Home sweet home", he said pulling up to a beautiful house. It was so big, and had some ivy hanging I down the sides.
He grabbed my bags and walked towards the house. Will anyone be home? Will these people or person like me? I asked myself over and over again.
We walk in and there's a boy sitting on the couch watching tv. He had dirty blonde hair like mine, his hair was kinda spiked up in the front. When he hears us walk behind him he looks over at us.
"Dad I'm hungry", he said.
"Are you not gonna say hello to me or your sister", dad asked.
"Hi", I said before he could say anything.
"Hi I'm Matt", he said.
"I'm Carter", I said.
"I'm guessing your a little freaked out like I have no idea who you people are", Matt said.
"Well yeah, pretty much", I said.
"Well if you want I can show you around town after I eat something", Matt said. "You hungry", he asked.
"Yeah", I said. He lead me to the kitchen.
"So what do you want Carter, we have pop tarts, we have apples, we have Mac and cheese", he said listing off different foods that he was finding.
