When I stabbed myself to die my neighbors heard me scream and they called 911. I went to the hospital and now I'm alive
It was hard having to know your best friend and your boyfriend not know you. It's hard to pretend that you didn't have a whole dream about the same exact guy that I've never seen before, and then just wake up from a year long dream about your "boyfriend". Every time I go to school I look at him, josh, Jason, and Brittany . The only thing different is josh isn't dating Jason and Jason is dating Brittany. And there's this girl. I don't know her but she's always by Tyler.
I walk close to the tree they sit at and sit near it. I sit there everyday, just hoping one of them will notice me. They soon come over and start talking about what they did or what happened at home. I take out my phone and look at the number I have on my contacts. I remembered Tyler's number so I wrote it down. I want to text him but I'm to scared.
Me: hey

"Who's that?" I hear Brittany ask.
"I don't know? Should I reply?"
"Yeah! I dare you!" Josh says.
Tyler: hey?

Tyler: good and you?

I didn't want to reply. I was not ok. I was confused and wanted answers.
Tyler: hello?

Me: sorry I just.. I'm not fine

Tyler: what's wrong?

Me: well. I had a dream about a boy, he had a friend. He became friends with me and we were all friends. Later about 2 months later we start dating and then I awaken and it's all a dream. A year long dream. How's that possible? Idk. And the boy.. his name was Tyler. And he looks just like you.

I get up and start walking toward the table I go to when I'm bored. I felt Tyler's eyes on me when I was walking. I look in the corner of my eye and see him staring.
"Hey stop staring at that slut!" A girl shouts. I look over at her and shes sitting right next to Tyler. I didn't know her.
"S-Sorry Jenna.. she just looked familiar." I hear him say.
"I really hope this is just a dream inside of a dream! Another year long dream, and when I wake up I'll be in Tyler's arms." I whisper to myself.
The bell rings and right when I get up Tyler is standing right next to me.
"Um.. h-hello?" I say awkwardly. He smiles and gives a small wave.
"I-Uhh I saw you walk over here and I thought you looked familiar." He says. "I'm not saying we've met before but I just wanted to know what your name is and see if you wanted to sit with my friends and I at lunch?" He asks.
"Oh well.." I think. What if he gets weirded out because I told him my name over text. "(Y/n)" I say and walk away. Fuck..
I feel tylers hand hold mine. I turn around and he's staring right into my eyes.
"Please.. are you sure we've never met before?" He asks.
"In a dream.. yes but in person.." I shake my head 'no' and Tyler let goes of my hand.
I walk to my class and sit down. I glance at Jason. He looks at me and I look away. He walks over to me.
"Hey. What's your name?" He asks.
"Ugh.. (y-y/n) why?" I ask.
"Are you the same person who texted Tyler?" He asks.
"Tyler..?" I say pretending I don't know him.
"Joseph, Tyler Joseph." He responds.
"Oh.. uh.. ye-" I get cut off by the teacher.

It was lunch. I couldn't decide if I wanted to sit with Tyler or sit by myself like usual.
"Hey (y/n)! Come sit with us!" I hear Jason say with his hand on my shoulder.
"Oh.. ok" we walk over to the table and I see Tyler and Jenna cuddling each other. I'm disgusted by the sight. I sit down and Tyler notices me.
"Oh hi." Tyler says and gets up and sits next to me. I can see Jenna with jealousy on her face.
"Hi Tyler." I respond.
" I have to go.. Isabelle needed me for something" Jenna says and walks away.
"Soo.. are you two a thing?" I ask Tyler.
"What? No!" Tyler says.
"Oh then why do you guys always cuddle each other?" I ask.
"C-cu.. were just really close friends." He says awkwardly.
"Okay?" I take out my phone and go on instagram.
"You should follow me" Tyler says.
I go to search and look up tylerrjoseph and follow.
"How'd you-"
"Remember my dream? It told me everything." I say.
"Oh.." he says. "Well I have to go to basketball practice. Bye" I wave to Tyler and go back to my phone.
"They are dating." I look up and see josh looking at me.
"Th-they are?" I ask. He nodded. "Why did he deny it then?" I wonder.
"He probably likes you." Jason says.
"Eh-what! No.."
"Why? What about your dream?" Brittany says.
"I-Uh.. well I mean.. yeah I like him but.. why would he like me? He has a girlfriend!"
"So, he probably likes how you look or sumn."
I think for awhile. What if he does like me? What would happen if we dated!
"Hey guys! Apparently we had no practice today." Tyler says sitting next to me.
"Why'd you deny it?" I ask not looking at him.
"Deny? Deny .. what?" He says acting like he doesn't know what i mean.
"Why'd you deny that you weren't dating Jenna!" I say a little loud.
"Why do you care so much? It's not like I want to date you!" He says.
My heart dropped. And thats when I knew Tyler didn't love me. I stare into his warm eyes with my cold heartbroken eyes. I get up and walk away.
I text my mom to tell the school to make me go home. She lets me go home and I start walking home.
"How could I be so stupid? It was just a dream. Not like Tyler would ever love me. Why, why, why! I look up to see I'm home. I walk in my house and my mom walks over to me.
"What's wrong?" She asks.
I explain my dream and what happened and she was sorry for me. I go to my room and lay down. I take out my razor and pull my sleeve up.
"Why, why why!" I say quietly. I sit in the corner I always do and start crying. "I'm such a crybaby, and an idiot!" I say to myself. I take the razor and slit it across my wrist. I do it so many times, my arms a bleeding mess. I soak up the blood with an old shirt. I go to my room and lay down.
*ding*
I look at my phone.
Tyler: why'd you leave?

Tyler: was it about family?

Me: no

Tyler: did something happen to you?

Me: i don't fucking know! why don't you think about it!

Tyler: what?
•
Me: okay! For the longest of time I did have a crush on you! And it hurt me to see you have a girlfriend. And when you said "it's not like I want to date you" that hurt me even more!

I couldn't stand him. People are going to be coming home soon cause it's the end of the day. I get up and go outside. I sit by the tree outside. I see kids walking by. I soon see Brittany walking. And josh, and Jason, and Tyler, and Jenna..
They don't see me until Jason drops his phone and it lands around where I am.
"Fuck! I can't stop dropping shit! Oh.. hi (y/n)!" Jason says.
I give him a wave.
"Oh so this is where you live?" Jason asks.
I nod my head yes.
"Cool, you live right next to Brittany!" He says.
Soon josh, Brittany, Tyler and Jenna come over.
"Oh hey (y/n)" josh says.
"Hi!" Brittany says.
I look at Tyler and he's looking away from me.
I walk over to everyone and ask them what they're doing.
"We're going to Brittany's house cuz her parents aren't home and we're gonna have food, soda, movi-"
"She doesn't really need to know" Tyler interrupts Jason, putting his hand on Jason's chest.
"Oh.. ok, sorry Tyler" He says quickly.
They start walking towards Brittany's house before I say something.
"What the fuck is your problem, Tyler! I didn't fucking do anything!" I yell.
Tyler stands there while everyone is looking at him. He slowly turns around and looks at me with eyes of sorrow.
"Well?" I say.
He walks over to me and whispers in my ear.
"I love you.." he then turns to his friends and gestures to walk. My head was down the whole time, and when I look up I see Jenna staring dead into my eyes.
"He's mine and you'll never have a chance with him" She says and turns around runs over to Tyler's side.
I laughed..
