I slumped in my chair. Study hall was always the worst, people often drifted off into their own thoughts. And before I knew it I was sucked into their dreams aswell, forced to watch for an hour.
I laid my head on the balled up sweater I carried with me. Pretending to fall asleep was my speciality. I knew Jeffery Jones was bond to passout out and dream of his eating contest in 08. I'd be forced to sit and watch him shovel down one hundred and two hotdogs, again.
I hated study hall. And I hated Jeffery Jones.
I often tired to get out of the dreams or not watch. Both were impossible by closing my eyes in the day dreams it was like a pause button. I tired scaring the person dreaming awake, no matter how much noise or movement I made I was never noticed.
As if highschool wasn't awkward enough, I was caught in everyone's dreams. Sad, frightening, embarrassing, steamy. You name it I was there. Seeing it all first hand.
How could I be friends with someone when I could see every single unedited thoughts they had? My last best friend sucked me into a dream where I watched her suck something she was apparently very fond of, that belonged to my father.
The affair was still going on with her and him.
I closed my eyes and sighed into my jacket as my fingers began to tingle... someone was asleep.
