Wow what was that , I can't believe Sammy Just kissed me . This so crazy and I'm so confused now . I gather my emotions and head out the door through the garage I went then outside to my Jeep
I get in and start it up I look up and I see Sammy leaning against his Truck staring at me .
I put the Jeep in Reverse and back around then leave down the long driveway to head to Melody's house . I turn up the music in the Jeep , Music sometimes helps me think and right now I need all the clear thinking I can get .
15 minutes later I arrive at Melody's I see Marcus's car he's already here . I wonder if Dustin is or not .
I park and go up to the front door I don't even knock I just come in I hear all the voices coming from the the usual spot the kitchen.
" Hi Honey I'm home " I yell as I walk in
" Oh Honey I'm so happy your here " Melody's belts out
Both of us bust into laughter .
" You two are crazy " Marcus says with a smile
" I second that " Mama Melissa says
" Oh Mama M you know you love me " I say as I bat my eyes at her
She just laughs and hugs me " Oh Course I love you my sweet little Harper Jane "
" Oh it's my favorite niece " Uncle Matt says
" Ha I won't tell the rest it will be our little secret " I say with a laugh
The door bell rang as we were talking Melody went to answer it and came back with Dustin , he looked really good nice dark blue polo and a pair of faded blue jeans and boots.
" Well Hello there Beautiful " Dustin said when he saw me
" Hey Dustin " I said back
" So are you joining the girls " Uncle Matt Asked Dustin
" Yes Sir I am " Dustin responded
"That's good to know " Matt responded
" Hey Melody Do you have my shirt that you borrowed last week" I asked trying to get her alone so I can tell her about Sammy
" Uh what shirt " she asked
" oh good grief you don't remember do you , Alright guys give us a few minutes I need to raid her closet " I say as I grab her arm and pull her to her room
Once in her room I shut the door
" I have something to tell you and you can't tell anyone "
" Oh What "
" Well You see Um "
" Spit it out"

" What Whoa slow it down "
" Sammy kissed me before I came over Here" I say slower
She stood there with her mouth open for a moment
" Holy Shit he did "
" Yeah he did " I say back
" What are you going to do "
" I'm going out with Dustin , just because Sammy kissed me doesn't change anything " I say
She nodded her head " Well let's go then "
We rejoined the guys when we were walking out Caleb was coming in with Beanie .
" Whoa Harper you going out with Dustin " Caleb said with a hint of disbelief in his voice
" Yes I am " I say as I link my arm in Dustin's arm
" Well Does Grey Know " he asked Beanie hit him in his arm
" Ouch Woman " He says as he rubs his arm
" For you information yes he does but if he didn't it doesn't matter to me " I say confidently
" Where y'all going " Beanie Asked
" To the movies and we are going to be late if we don't get going" I say as I kind of pull Dustin along so we can get out the door.
Once outside and at Marcus's Car Dustin cornered me against it
" You Okay Harper "
" Yeah I'm fine "
" Then why did you drag me out of the house "
" Because if we stayed one of us would get mad so it was better to leave " I tell him
" Why would I get mad " he asked
" Well because my family doesn't know when to let up and let me live my life " I say back
" Oh okay " he says as he kissed me on my forehead.
We decided to take my Jeep since I had more room for everyone .
We got to the Movies and I paid for my ticket despite Dustin's objections he was mad but when I told him that when we go out again he could pay
His response was we are going to go out again no doubt about it
I laughed at him
Settling in our seats after getting popcorn drinks and twizzlers the movie started up
It was a horror movie great I hate horror movies they give me nightmares I spent most of the movie with my head buried in Dustin's chest or arm . He was a good sport about it
" do you want to leave and go sneak into another movie " he asked
" No I'll be fine but I'm gonna get Melody for this " I tell him in a whisper
" okay then just hold on to me I'll keep you safe " he said with a little chuckle
I rolled my eyes at him but because it's dark in the theater he could see but I did .
When I did watch the movie it was pretty good but I didn't get to turn away fast enough when the killer was attacking the woman .
That brought a really quick flashback of Todd
Flashback :
Todd and I were out on a dinner date we had gone to one of his Favorite places for dinner to me it was to pricey and to be honest the food was always over cooked but I wasn't paying so .
The two of us sat at the table and were enjoying the meal until the Waiter came by it was a different one from who took our order he came by and flirted with me Well that didn't go over very well with Todd.
Later during the meal he squeezed my arm hard leaving a red mark from his fingers .
When we left the restaurant he threw me up against the wall holding his arm across my throat telling me that he didn't like me Flirting
Even though I wasn't . The look in Todd's eyes was so scary
When I got home that night I went straight over to see Uncle Kota and told him about it, My parents weren't home and I needed to tell someone and I always trust my Uncles and my Aunts
Kota said he would take care of it. Well Todd did change his behavior for awhile but it didn't. Stay like that he just got more creative with what he did and how he did it
End of Flashback
" Harper what's wrong " Dustin Asked me his hand squeezed mine
" Oh Sorry I spaced out " I replied
" Yes you did I know you don't like these movies how about we go on out and wait for Melody and Marcus " Dustin Suggested
" No I'm fine " I trying to sound convincing
" Are you sure the look you had wasn't a pleasant one it was one of being scared "
" Look it's not something I talk about " I tell him
" Well you can tell me if and when you want too " Dustin respond as he took his fingers and linked them in mine .
I leaned my head on his shoulder he kissed my head . This is nice and he's being really sweet I should give him a chance I thought to myself now to convince my heart too .
After the movie we back to Melody's house since both Marcus and Dustin's vehicles were there.
When we got there we went inside isn't it was only 1 am I still had time before I needed to be home .
We sat in the living room and talked I sat on the couch , Dustin had gone to use the restroom and Marcus and Melody were in the kitchen getting us some drinks
They came in at the same time Dustin came back .
Dustin came over " Up " he said to me
I stood up he sat down and pulled me into his lap so I snuggled into him .
" So Melody you took me to a horror movie knowing I don't like them " I said to her trying to sound mad but I really wasn't I know her reasoning she wanted to snuggle with Marcus
" Well yeah I did but in my defense you had Dustin to snuggle with so " she said with a smile
" Yeah Harper you had me to snuggle with " Dustin said with a smirk and laugh
" Yeah I did didn't I " I said with a smile and leaned up and kissed his lips lightly
There was a cough or should I say some one clearing their throat
I looked over at the door way and saw Caleb
" Hey Caleb " I say
" Hey Harper ,don't mean to interrupt but don't you need to be home by 2 " he says as he looks at his watch
" Crap" I say as I look at the clock on the wall it's 1:45 and it takes 20 minutes to get home
I get up out of Dustin's lap
" Well let me Text my parents to tell them I'll be about 5 minutes late so I don't get into too much trouble " I say as I text away

Melody came over gave me a hug and whispered " Send me a text about tonight "

" Let me walk you out " Dustin said
We made it outside to my Jeep
I leaned up against the drivers door as Dustin stood in front of me He placed his hands on my hips
" Harper "
" Yes Dustin "
" I had a great time tonight "
" Me too "
" Good "
Dustin leans in his lips brush mine for a moment then his tongue brushed my lip asking for entrance which I gave
It started out as slow kiss but it deepened for a moment before he pulled away and kissed my forehead
"Drive Safe and Harper Text me when you get home " Dustin said
" Okay I will "
I left and made it home and when I got in and made it up to my room I texted Dustin
