3rd person
You laid on your bed looking at the small dog that was across the room, it being rather difficult to keep your eyes open, you were a surfer and one day, without a storm hit and a few days later you rolled onto the sand only to have 3 boys come and lift you up bringing you back to their- let's just say- GIANT house, at first you thought they were gonna kill you but they gained your trust by letting you stay there and them taking care of you while you healed. The blonde one was pretty cute but the one with brown hair was the sweetest, as you snapped back into reality you saw the boy- Colby- you think walk in setting a bowl and a cup down
"Colby?"
"Nope...Jake, Colby is helping Sam move his room around, he wanted me to bring you this, do you think you can sit up again today?" He ask kneeling down in case he had to help you
"I think" you mumbled before trying to slowly sit up, Jake's arm helping you up
"There we go, your arms- hold on my moms calling" he said before stepping out, after a bit Colby slowly walked in
"Hey Shorty" he whispered pulling his office chair by the bed, you were sleeping with him since your body still couldn't produce enough body warmth, hypothermia you thought.
"Hi.." you mumbled fiddling with your finger
"Hey don't worry, I've told you this, just give it time and work and you'll back to normal" he said grabbing your hand, he helped you up wrapping his arm around your shoulders helping you walk to Sam's room, see you didn't think of the boy's as hotties that saved you, Sam was like an older brother, Jake was like the awkward uncle, and odd enough to say, Colby was like your dad in some way.
"Sam, you awake and decent?"
"Yes and yes" you heard from the door, Colby slowly opened it helping you in, Sam smile immediately, giggling at you wearing one of their old sweatshirts that was far to big on your 12 year old body.
"Hiya y/n/n" he said turning his chair around
"Hi"
"How are you feeling today? Any better from yesterday?"
"Yea..I can almost stand up by myself!"

It's been a year since you've been took in by Sam and Colby, and he's took the role as your father with you only being 13, Colby had filed for custody since your parents still haven't filed missing persons report probably because they were gambling their life away.
"Y/n! Is your homework almost done!?" You heard Sam yell from downstairs
"No!"
"Why not!? You've been working on it for 3 hours!" You heard Colby add on
"I don't wanna do itt!" You yelled back falling back on your bed
"Y/f/n please do your homework! I really really don't wanna have to use the grounded card!"
"I know you Cole! You'd never!"
"Your grounded!" He yelled back
"Am not!"
"Are too!"

"Are too" he said from your doorway
"Not uh..."
