as i sat in biology, i found myself getting lost in thought and not being able to concentrate on labelling the features of an animal cell. i couldn't stop thinking about hanging out with trixie at lunch. it was such a tiny thing yet i was so so excited. i felt my phone vibrate, and sneakily checked it under my desk.
tracy: you've been staring at the wall for four and a half minutes
i looked over to her and laughed, slightly embarrassed that she had noticed.
katya: well yeh this work is so fucking boring how am i meant to focus lol
i put my phone back in my pocket and tried to do my work, but ended up doodling a small picture of trixie on the corner of my page. when i realised how hilariously bad it was, i snapped a pic and texted it to her.

katya: why lol im getting an a in biology anyway

i looked up at trixie and started laughing. she smiled and looked away shyly. the bell rings.
