"In the late 7982 was the time of the great white oak tree where it was called before it was named Connecticut, the land of our home." I watched the teacher pull out a big map in front of us. Her chest heaving up and down as she speaks.
"Alpha Braydon, don't tell me you are checking the teacher out now are you?" Turning to my left I was met with my Beta, Beta Tucker as a smirk played on his lips.
"Can you blame me, I ache to have those lips on mine." I signed knowing that may be impossible.
I couldn't help but gawk at our history teacher. There is something about her that I couldn't place my finger on it.
Sadly though as much as I would love to be hers, she is definitely not mine.
Three long fucking years I have waited for the day my wolf shouts mate or to be engulf by her scent. Seff my wolf has grown quiet ever since a year later after my 18th birthday. He wanted his mate and the longer without, the longer he feels discourage that is until college were I was met with the blue eye raven of a teacher.
Seff seems to come alive and I could almost see him wagging his tail. I however have to remind him that she is not our mate.
I am already 20 years old. Makes me wonder if I even have a mate.
"Mr. Travis." My eyes snapped towards the very pissed of teacher who was now looming over me by an inch as I sat in my desk. "Are you even listening to my lecture?" She huffed. And might I add she looks cute when she's angry.
Rising to my feet so that I was now towering over her I smiled, "Actually teacher Amy, I was distracted by your breast as it slightly moves up and down." I didn't mind much of the attention that we were now receiving. All that mattered is the blush that crept on her face. She was in deed cute. How can someone her age be a teacher. Usually teachers are either old or fat. Well most of my teachers are bald.
And the fact that Seff is now aware of her presence got me jumping for joy. Hence is why I love to tease the teacher. Just to make Seff happy. Besides her many expressions are just a bonus.
Looking up at me, her neck strained just to meet into my eyes. Can you blame me for being 6 feet 6. She's just short for a 5 feet 5 person.
Pulling away, she crossed her hands resting her breast on her arms, "Well, please um...sit back down and do pay attention. I am not talking for my benefit."
Stomping away down the steps, I would watch her ass move from side to side.
"There you go again." Tucker blew a wolf whistle.
I didn't care what the class thought hell I wanted to rile up the teacher.
"Class dismissed." Was the class over, damn it. I wasn't done ogling the teacher.
Walking up to her, "Teach."
She batted her long lashes at me, "Mr. Travis." Her scent was driving my wolf crazy for some strange reasons. And I had never had these crazy thoughts about a human before at least not a teacher.
Out of all the teacher here she was the only human but she was great at the history of our ancestors.
"I was hoping..."
"Alpha Braydon." Cringing at the sound of her voice I watch her skipped towards me linking arms with my arms, "Come on Alpha. We have a pack meeting to attend to."
Fuck! I almost forgot I had scheduled a pack meeting during lunch hour. It was the only time we can be proactive considering college is taking up too much of our time. Well the teacher here is taking up most of my time.
Yes we are a wolf school with an occasionally humans here and there. But those humans don't just come to our school unless they're mates are wolves.
Looking at my teacher, I didn't missed the glare she was sending towards the girl beside me. Was she jealous? But she looks rather perturb then anything.
Giving out another sigh, I had envied those who did found their mates while I try to be happy with my girlfriend Lovely who is still attaching herself to my side.
"I'm sure whatever you have to discuss with me Mr. Travis, it can be put on hold for now. You are needed elsewhere."
Damn it! "We will discuss the later." I winked at her only for her to blush again. So cute.
Following Lovely we both made it to our meeting spot.
I and another neighboring Alpha and his pack was also here. We were not close friends but let's just say we tolerated each other for the sake of a truce treaty.
Usually if you put two powerful Alpha's together, their dominance in that room is so overwhelming it turns into a competition between the two.
"Alpha Hunter." I greeted.
"Alpha Braydon." He stood proud and tall and next to him is his mate and Luna Taylor who already bore Alpha Hunter's mark. There were rumors well more like speculations between the two. "Luna Taylor." I smiled at her only for her to shrink backwards.
Alpha Hunter had wrapped his arms around her protectively but I couldn't help but wonder why is she so timid. Usually Luna's are supposed to be strong headed.
"And I am Luna Lovely." Lovely smirked and batted her eyes towards him. Since when did she make herself Luna and did she just flirt with him too.
"Luna Lovely." Hunter stretched out her name, "I don't see you bare his mark."
Did I say I could only tolerated him well maybe if we hung out a few more we could become friends.
"Well I'm keeping my options open unless you have an opening for me."
"Lovely." I roared. She is being disrespectful towards Hunter's mate.
My eyes met Taylor's, her eyes darkening in the process, "Excuse me." She spoke softly that if I wasn't a wolf you could barely hear her, "But you would make a terrible Luna. And if whoever your mate is, I will feel sorry for him."
Smiling, I wanted to applaud Taylor for her words but was soon interrupted by a loud growl coming from Lovely herself, "At least I am head strong and able to lead unlike someone right here."
Hunter stepped forward, his dominance now pouring out while I try to match his.
We were now both equal in dominance however Alpha Hunter wanted submission towards Lovely.
"Alpha Hunter, I will handle Lovely here and she will be severely punished for insulting your mate." It's unnatural for an Alpha to apologize but I had respect for him and his mate.
Glancing at Lovely, she bowed submitting to me, "Please forgive me Alpha, I mean no disrespect."
"Lovely, leave now."
"But what about the meeting?"
If she still thinks she is a part of the meeting she is dead wrong. I don't care if her father is my third command she just put my pack to shame with her rantings.
"You are no longer needed."
"But..."
"I said go!" I pointed towards the exit only to watch her walk away while whimpering, the pack mates all shaking their head. "Oh and Lovely, we are over." After what she had done, I couldn't very well keep her by my side.
Sure she was a good bed mate but she is the worst she wolf out there.
Turning back to Alpha Hunter and his mate, "Shall we get started." I ordered only to receive a quiet nod.
Both walking towards the center asking everyone to take a seat.
"We have joined our packs together right now to discuss some of the issues that may arise later in the future." I started.
"Our two packs have come together to deal with the situation at hand." Hunter boomed.
"As you all know there have been attacks to both our packs and we have lost some wolves out there." I continued.
Commotions could be heard from everyone.
"Silence." I thundered.
"Is it rogues?" A fellow pack member asked.
I wish I could say yes. I wish I could say you are right. After all rogues are easily dealt with. They are after all wolves with no more humanity and very predictable. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. In fact ever since I had entered college I have not seen one rouge enter my territory. It's like they just vanished.
"I wish we could say yes, it is rogues." Alpha Hunter replied, "Sadly it isn't."
"Further more, we shall leave in groups of at least two. No one shall be by themselves." I added.
"Must be hunter's then." Their curiosity peaked over their eyes.
Just like rogues' hunters too can be dealt with. After all they are merely humans.
Hunter and I shook both our heads.
"Okay so who are we dealing with?" Another pack member raised his hands.
"Not who but what." Shaking my head, the worry on our pack's members faces were etch on their faces.
"So if it's not rogues or hunters then..." A wolf stopped mid-sentence.
"Vampires." I finished only to received shocking gasps from each one of them.
