(Third Person POV)
"Whoa! What the heck?!" Uraraka exclaimed, everyone looked over to see what she was screaming about & their eyes widened when they saw a whole crowd surrounding the door to the class "Why the heck are you all here?!"
"Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" Iida asked, that was when Mineta butted in
"Why are you guys blocking our doorway? I won't let you take us hostage!" he yelled, that was when Bakugou came walking pass him
"They're scouting out the competition you retard." he retorted to Mineta "We're the class that survived a real villain attack." he added as he walked up to the crowd, he stopped just in front of them & some backed away feeling a little uneasy "Take a good look cause this is what a future pro hero looks like, now move it extras!"
"You can't just call people extras just because you don't know who they are!" Iida scolded, that was when something smacked Bakugou in the back of the head
"THE HELL?!?!" he looked up & saw it was Kyoshu, he tsked
"Kacchan, stop being so rude." she looked at the wave of students & a few more of them trembled at her sight, she had her gentle smile on her face but the look in her eyes were most likely telling them to move & get lost "But he is right about one thing, they're scouting out the competition."
"I came to see what you kids are made of, true, but I didn't think you'd be this arrogant. Are all the kids enrolled at the Department of Heroics this way?" said a kid with purple hair that stood up, he also looked extremely tired with bags under his eyes
"& you are?" she asked as she looked down at him
"Not important. I'm a bit disillusioned, so that's it, huh?" he continues, rubbing the back of his neck "There's lots of kids who wind up in the General Education Department or other Departments because they failed the heroics one. Did you know that?" she raised an eyebrow
"Well that's their own fault for not being strong enough." Bakugou shot back, the whole class, minus Kyoshu, were blown away with shock & horror
'Did he really just say that?!' they all thought, said guy scoffed
"Heh, even so, based on the results of the Sports Festival, people can be even come under review to be transferred to heroics. & the reverse is also a possible outcome. Scoping out the competition? If nothing else, a General ED kid like me is thinking, 'Hey, why don't I try pulling the rug out from under those heroic kids while they're on their high horses?' Consider it a declaration of war."
"Is that a threat?" both Bakugou & Kyoshu asked, the three of them stare at each other intensively before Kyoshu shook her head & touched her arm, the guy noticed this & raised an eyebrow "Mass Decrease." she suddenly floated up onto the ceiling of the hallway, she scratched her cheek
"But seriously, get out of the way. I need to be somewhere." soon enough another voice butted in
"Hey!! You!! I'm from Class B!!" Kyoshu looked over & chuckled to see who it was "I heard you knocked around with villains or whatever so I came to hear it direct!! But I don't wanna hear from some snot-nosed punks!!! Don't embarrass us during the main event, you hear me?!"
"Hello to you to Tetsutetsu." he stopped when he saw Kyoshu & calmed down while waving a bit but a smirk was still on his face
"Oh, hey Kyoshu! I forgot you were in this class as well! Hope we can still be friends after I kick your ass in the festival!!" Kyoshu smirked & saluted Tetsutetsu with his index & middle finger
"Of course." he scratched the back of his neck
"& um, why are you on the ceiling?" she pointed down at the wave of students in the middle of the hallway, blocking the way towards the exit "Ah."
"Yup, & I'm getting out of here. Good luck." he gave her a thumbs up
"Yeah!!" just as she started walking away Bakugou yelled up at her
"How do you know him?!" the whole class of 1-A looked at her
"Well, you could say... I'm friends with the entire class of 1-B." with that she winked at Bakugou & started walking away without a care in the world while everyone else was shocked... again
'The whole class?!?! The hell has he been doing the entire time he's been here?!' Bakugou & Midoriya look at him before thinking the exact same thing
'If she's friends with the whole class, that means she knows their quirks. She's at an advantage with their class.'
As Kyoshu was walking away she was thinking up a way to do over the 2 weeks of preparing for the sports festival, she was still on the ceiling too. She was lost in thought until she heard someone call her name, she looked around & saw no one until a hand was waved in her face, soon followed by a small thud, she looked down & realized the R-Rated Hero: Midnight, was jumping up while waving her arm trying to get her attention
"Hey! Takeyama-san! Down here!"
"Oh! Mass Increase." she turned right side up & landed on the ground with a louder thud compared to her, she looked down at Midnight "What is it that you need, Midnight-sensei?"
"You were the winner of the entrance exam, no?" she nodded her head "Every year the winner is suppose to give an introductory speech." her eyes widened a bit
"Really?" she nodded her head
"The Principal told me to give you a heads up so you can work on it over the 2 weeks." she then waved her hand "That's all for me, Takeyama-san! Have a good evening!" she said before skipping off, she blinked before turning around & walking out of the school building with her index finger & thumb under her chin
"Hmm, I wonder what I should say for the speech, or what to do until the festival begins." that was when she got an idea, with that she smirked "Hopefully this doesn't count as cheating."
(Time Skip - 2 Days Later)
'So there really is a gym in U.A.' Kyoshu thought as she went over to the pull up bar, she grabbed onto it before hoisting herself up & putting her legs around the bar, when she was secure she let herself hang upside down then put her earphones into her phone then plugged them into her ears before doing sit ups. She did a few more before seeing a few other students walk in, one even went to the pull up beside her
"Oh? Kyoshu-san!" she stopped what she was doing & turned her body to see Hagakure, a soft smile appeared on her face before she pulled out one of the puds
"Hello, Tooru-chan." she greeted with a smile
"Is it okay for you to be training? I mean, you're still recovering." she waved her hand
"Yeah its fine, its just my jaw that really hurts. Other than that I'm fine, my ribs still hurt a bit but that's all."
"Okay, but please be careful." she nodded her head & went back to doing her sit... hangups maybe? Cause she isn't really sitting, she's hanging upside down. She did a couple more for a few more minutes & stopped when she saw some sweat build up, she looked over to her side to see how Hagakure was doing & sweat dropped when she saw her barely being able to do one pull up
"Um... are you o--"
"I-I'm... I'm fine!" she nodded her head
"Okay." she dropped to the floor & went over to the weights & just as she was pulling at her gloves she saw Shouji lifting weights, she clapped her hands when she saw three large weights on each side of the bar "Whoa Mezo-chan! So strong." she says, he looked over & saw her, he then set it back & sat up
"Hello Takeyama, I didn't see you." she pointed at the pull up bars... where Hagakure was still struggling
"I was over there, just finished & thought I could lift a few." he gestured to the one beside him
"Go ahead." he goes back to do some more lifts but Kyoshu stopped him before he could lie down "Hmm? What is it?"
"I have... a much better idea." she said, he just raised an eyebrow
(... minutes later...)
"Uwah! Come on Kendou! I want to be in tip top shape so I can beat those class 1-a wannabes & Kyoshu! I need to be strong!" Tetsutetsu yelled as he, Kendou & Monoma were making their way towards the gym that was located in U.A "Hurry up!" she just sighed with a smile as she & Monoma picked up the pace
"We're coming, we're coming." they open the door & were a little shocked to see who was on the other side, there was Kyoshu doing a handstand with Shouji sitting on a bench, that was perched on her feet, with weights in his hands & Hagakure was sitting on the weight, Kyoshu had asked them to do what their doing while she did push ups in a handstand position
"Eh?! Kyoshu?!" she looked up slowly & smiled a bit when she saw them
"Oh h-hey, didn't see you there." Shouji looked down at her
"We can see why." Hagakure just smiled(?) while waving her arms around
"Hello!!" Tetsutetsu bent down so she could see his face
"You're so strong, Kyoshu! I don't think I can compete with you!!" she just smiled, she motioned him to back up so he did, she bent her arms & knees a bit before throwing the bench, Shouji & Hagakure in the air. She pushed herself off the ground & landed on her feet then caught the bench, then Shouji (who landed on it) with one arm & she used the other to catch the weight then Hagakure (who landed on that), she lifted them up with ease
"I know." their jaws just dropped when Hagakure clapped her hands & Shouji just shook his head while chuckling
"Showing off, Takeyama." she just shrugged & put them down before handing him the weight, he dropped it
"Oops, sorry." Hagakure was shaking her back & forward
"You're so cool, Kyoshu-san!!"
"Thank you." the other 3 just stare in disbelief
'How are we suppose to compete with that beast?'
(Time Skip - 4 Days Later)
"Shouto! Can you help me for a minute?" Todoroki was sweating as he was throwing punches in the air, he was in an empty training room practicing when Kyoshu came walking in "I want to try a few fighting techniques against you, if you don't mind." he thought for a moment before shaking his head
"I don't." she grinned & clapped her hands
"Great." she was a few feet away from him when she copied the same fighting stance the Titan used, Todoroki raised his brow when he saw it "Whenever you're ready." they stare at each other before Todoroki came charging at her though when he came close she pulled her arms back then kicked him hard on the side of his chin
He grunted & lost his footing & started falling sideways, he felt her grab the side of his neck & the end of his back before lifting her knee up & kneeing him harshly in the gut, which winded him greatly. He fell to his knees & clutched his stomach as he coughed up saliva, she gasped & fell to her knees
"Oh my gosh! I didn't mean to hit you that har--" he suddenly uppercut her in the jaw, he gasped when he remember that where she got hurt "A-Argh...!" she started clutching it
"Oh no, I'm sorry! I forgot that was where your main injury was." he said as he placed his hand on her back, his other was still clutching his stomach, she waved her hand & rolled her jaw
"No no. I believe I deserved it, besides its healed to where there isn't a lot of pain. That was a mighty punch as well, Shouto." they sat down & Todoroki had his hand pressed on where he punched her
"I'm still sorry." she merely shrugged & the two sat in silence... for a few seconds "You mind telling me why you copied that villain's technique?" she grinned a bit
"I found her fighting style unique, so I searched her up & watched a few videos of captured videos of her, & so I copied them because I knew no one else would have that kind of fighting technique." he sat there & nodded at every word she said
"... you mind teaching me?" she looked at him
"With pleasure."
(Time Skip - 1 Week Later)
"One box of takoyaki please, & hold the dried seaweed." it was Mount Lady who asked, behind her were two other pros known as Death Arms & Kamui Woods, it was finally the day of the sports festival & the school asked her & other pros to stand guard to see if villains might want to ruin this grand event
"Ohh! You're Mount Lady, aren't you?! One box, right?! That'll be 500 yen."
"Eh?" she looked away as she blushed a fake blush "Oh, I seem to have forgotten my wallet..." she muttered, that tricked him
"TOO SEXY!! ITS ON THE HOUSE!!"
"THANK YOU!!!"
"Have you no pride?" Kamui asked her, before she could grab it though, an arm stopped her from grabbing it
"Hu-- ow!" she winched when she was hit behind the head "Hey! What gi--" she stopped when she saw the glare from her niece
"Don't flirt with the seller if you have no money, Yu." it was Kyoshu, she was hungry, even though she had breakfast, so she decided to get food, on her way she saw her aunt bribing the seller with her body "You know what mama said." her shoulders slumped
"Yes." she looked back at the seller
"Though I'll buy it off her."
"What?!" she stared in disbelief as Kyoshu handed the seller 500 yen then took the box from his hand, she grinned & ate one teasingly in front of her aunt "You are so cruel, Kyoshu!" she just winked, she finally noticed the other pros so she bowed her head
"Its quite the honor being in the presence of other top ranked heroes." she said, they wave their hands
"Oh its nothing, but, how do you know Mount Lady? Other then the fact she's pretty famous." she stopped chewing & smiled
"I'm her niece." they stare in shock
"No way! Such a nice girl is related to this vain woman?!" she just shrugged
"I can almost see the resemblance, its mostly the hair color." she looked at the time & saw that it was almost time so she bowed her head again
"I'm sorry, but I have to go! It was nice meeting you!" & she rushed off, but soon came back "& if you try that trick again I will tell mama. Its not nice to trick men with your body." Mount Lady just sighed
"Okaaay..." she smiled & walked off though spun the stick in circles as she was going over her speech she had to say, Death Arms & Kamui watched her go off before looking back at Mount Lady
"She acts more of an aunt than you, Takeyama." she just glared at them
"Oh shut up!" Kyoshu was slowly making her way back & sighed a bit
"Heh, those two weeks flew by quickly." Kyoshu said as she made her way back to the waiting room where Class 1-A were. Everyone trained to their butts off & improved on their control of their quirks, Kyoshu trained as well but she got a little information out of a few people before doing so
"Everyone, are you preparations complete?! We're set to enter in no time!" she heard Iida from down the hall, she sweat dropped but laughed while shaking her head
(In the Waiting Room)
"Midoriya." everyone looked over to see that Midoriya was approached by Todoroki, he was now shaking like a chihuahua in front of a lion (who knows where that is from?)
"What is it, Todoroki?" Midoriya starts sweating slightly
"On an objective basis, I think I'm above you in terms of practical strength."
"Wha?! Ah, uh, yeah..." he replies awkwardly
"All Might's got his eye on you, doesn't he? Now I'm not trying to pry into that, but... I will beat you." was all he said, everyone stared in shock while Midoriya stood there quietly, it was only a few minutes before he spoke up
"I have no idea what you want from me...telling me all that... you're definitely stronger than me. I think the vast majority of people are probably no match for you... looking at it objectively. Even so!! Everyone, even kids from other Courses are aiming for the top with all their might! So not even I can just let myself lag behind the rest! So I'm going to go for it with all my might, too!" Todoroki just looks at him before finally just saying
"Right..." they heard a chuckle so they look at the door & saw Kyoshu leaning on the frame of it
"Way to go Izu-chan, what a way to talk back to one of the strongest students in our class. Bravo." she said before plopping another takoyaki into her mouth, Iida stood up & started doing his hand gestures in her way
"Where have you been, Kyoshu-kun?!" she showed him the box
"I was hungry, so I got food! Got a problem?"
"Yes I do!!"
(Takeyama Kyoshu POV)
"It's the freshman stage and the students are making their entry now!!" I can hear the media exclaim from outside of this gate, as soon as we stepped outside into the arena the crowd went wild. I felt quite anxious, I mean who the hell wouldn't, there are a million eyes looking at you & even live. I didn't feel scared though, I was quite excited if you ignore the anxious but as soon as we made it to the stage I felt my heart drop into my stomach "But the next group has just as much talent as the first one! Welcome Hero Course Class 1-B! Next up is General Study Classes C D & E! Support Classes F G & H! & finally business Classes I J & K!! Give it up for all the first year contestants!!"
"Jeez, ain't he a bit to load?" I asked beside Tooru-chan, she merely shrugged
"We're just as loud!"
"True."
"Now! Now, fair play!!" my attention turns to Midnight, I immediately started blushing when I saw the costume she was wearing & looked away. A few others blushed while the pro heroes in the stands were blushing in a pervy way, that made me glare at the ground
"Hmph, pervs."
"Silence! My tenure here is perfectly on the level!! Now, player rep!! Takeyama Kyoshu of class 1-A!!" I sigh to myself before making my way towards the stage with my hands in my pockets but I couldn't but listen to the whispers between everyone
"Eh?! Takeyama-san is our representative?!?!" I hear Izu-chan scream
"Well yeah, she did score first place!" Hanta-chan said, everyone looked at each other before looking at up at me. I was in front of the mic & I rethought the things I was going to say before leaning into the mic
"Well there isn't much to say, even though we are all separated into different classes I know for sure we are all going to fight each other to get to the top, but lets not forget that this is a festival! Lets all have some fun as we climb to the top!" I grab the mic & take a step forward "Whatever this school throws at us we will conquer it! Now come guys, say it with me! Lets go Beyond! Plus..."
"ULTRA!!!" I smiled in victory when I got everyone to scream it out
"That's what I'm talking about!!!" I say as I pump my fist before setting the mic down & walking down the steps "Woo! That's how you hype up a crowd."
"& there you have it folks!" Midnight said & everyone cheered, I stood beside Kou-chan this time & I saw that he had somewhat of a nervous smile on his face
"You alright?" I asked
"Oh nothing, just nervous as always..." he said, I nodded my head
"Well, we all should be. We're versing other classes that we have no knowledge of what their quirks could be."
"Onto the 'preliminaries,' as they're called! Lots of fine folk end up choking on their tears here every year!! & this year's first round of destiny is... this!!!"
On the screen were the words: Obstacle Race
"Obstacle race? Should be a peace of cake." I murmur to myself with a smirk on my face
"It's a race between all eleven classes! The course makes a nearly four kilometer ring around this stadium! We always sing about our freedom on campus, fufufufu... Well, this is what it's all about! You're free to do anything, anything, so long as you remain within the course! So let's get cracking! So, students! Take your places!" everyone lines up in front of the starting line as the crowd grows quiet
'Deep breaths Kyoshu, you can do this.'
"On your marks!"
'You can do this...'
"Get set!"
'Make them proud!'
"GO!!!"
