~Yanade/Naomi's POV~
"There they are!!!" Maka shouted "The impostors!!"
And the next thing I knew was Maka charging me with her sycthe, as Black Star charged to Yuri with his katana--which was obviously Tsubaki.
I gulped. I was NEW to this for crying out loud!! The only thing I did for the past week was practice!! How the hell am I gonna--
"Y-yanade-nee!" Suki screamed (A/N: -nee = onee-chan. Meaning 'big sister')
When the hell did she start calling me that?
But because of Suki's scream I stopped panicking and got serious.
"Suki, transform! Now!!" I screamed louder as Maka was coming nearer.
Suki panicked a little but did what I told her. As fast as a blink of an eye, she was up in the air as a Double Axe. She was so amazing...so cool...and was falling right straight into me!!
I panicked then took a deep breath repeating in my head: Do not die. Fight. Do not die. Fight.
I tried to remember all the things that Kid taught us at practice. I focused very hard.
And you know what shocked me the most? I actually caught her!
Woo-hoo! I caught her! Woo-ho--But now is not the time to celebrate. We still have a battle to win. I held into Suki and can feel her soul.
Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.
Then Maka jumped and tried to hit me, but I was faster and stopped her by using Suki as a block.
I turned to Yuri and Hanna who was trying to battle off Black Star (which amazed me by how long they were able to hold him off) and turned around at my back which I was slowly getting nearer to the stairs.
I gulped. I am so not gonna climb those stairs again!!!
I spun Suki so that Maka would move a few feet away from us. And succesfully my plan had worked and Maka was in the center of the place.
I breathed in again and charged into Maka. This time, when I swung Suki it was Maka blocking me. I can see that I have the upperhand here and I can easily beat them by using my special move 'Ember Crystal' and do a one-hit-combo.
But the problem is I haven't mastered 'Ember Crystal' yet.
What if something goes wrong and we fail? Then all of our energy would be gone and wasted and we would be defeated.
But if we can do it? One-hit-combo. Simple win.
Then again, another problem is 'Ember Crystal' is a very powerful attack. I don't know if I can handle or even use it.
*Ehem*
Basically 'Ember Crystal' is a move where the two 'axe heads' in my double ax, double. So in short there's two in each end. Right in the bginning there's only one? Now there's two in each end, so it became much stronger. Then this electric-pink thing--pardon me, I have no idea what it's called--covers the double axe. There you have it 'Ember Crystal'.
Suki's grunt snapped me back to reality. I looked at her reflection in one of the 'axe heads' and I saw her hurt. As in very damaged.
Ember Crystal is our only hope.
Or is it?
Maka finally got to hit us which sent us moving just a few feet away from them. I saw them breathing heavily as us. Equal. We are all completely equal. It's anyone's win.
I controlled my heavy breathing and whispered to Suki "We need to do it. We need to do the Ember Crystal. It's our only hope."
I heared her gasp "But, we haven't even mastered it yet!"
I looked at Maka and Soul.
I breathed in and out again. "We have to try. In this battle, that's the only thing that would make us a sure win!"
I saw her eyes doubting a bit. I don't blame her. This would be such a big risk.
Finally I saw her smile and said "Aye, aye captain."
As I heard that I didn't waste a second later. I looked into her eyes and we both nodded and faced Maka and Soul again.
"RESONANCE OF THE SOULS!!" We screamed. Then I felt Suki's soul coming together with mine. Until finally we became one.
"AAAAAAARGHH!!!" We screamed again.
Damn the power was too...powerful. (No sh*t.)
But I'm not gonna give up! Only sissys gives up. Only weaklings gives up. I am not weak! I am strong! Much stronger than any of them! So! I can easily beat them!
We then started running towards them as Suki a.k.a. the double axe upgraded into the Quadruple Axe!
(A/N: I have no idea what to call it. Could you comment on what's a good name for when the double axe upgrades? Thanks so much!)
I saw Maka and Soul stand ground. Meaning they would try to stop our attack. Which is not possible. If...you know...my plan would go on smoothly.
I continued to run and ignored when my legs ached. Finally, I got to the point where I needed to jump and, when I'm much nearer to them, I'll attack.
So, I jumped as high as I could. I swung my Quadruple Axe, ready to attack.
Then came the moment when I needed to do it. And so I did. And Maka and Soul fell to the floor. Soul as human form and Maka lying there. Eyes closed.
~Yuri's POV~
"Oh crap! What the heck?!" I grunted as I dodged Black Star's lighting-fast attacks.
Why did this beautiful morning turn out to this! I cried inside my head. Today was such a good start! Waaa~~ Why has it come to this?!
"Oi!! Yuri-nee!!" I snapped out as Hannah called my name.
"What?..." I said gloomily "We are so gonna--Oh crap!!" I said as I quickly did a backflip to dodge Black Star's katana.
Damn, was he fast!!
"Ooohh!! You're not giving up yet!!" Black Star said. Not even breaking a sweat. "This is going to be a very memorable battle!!" He yelled and swung he's katana.
Luckily I swung Hanna just in time to block his attack. I sighed with relief as I try to keep the katana away from my face.
I mean the thing was almost gonna cut threw Hanna's chains! (A/N: Hanna is being currently a ninja manriki--if you don't know the meaning google it. XD)
Crap! I need to think fast and stop being a dumb sissy. I breathed in and out, and was about to proceed with my plan when--
"Aaargh!!" I screamed in pain as Hanna and I stumbled backwards.
W-what was that? I said in my head as I looked at my hand which still hurts from God-knows-what Black Star did.
He laughed "Oi! I thought this was gonna be a battle I will never forget! But what happened to you? Did you get a little shock from my soul wave?" He boasted. I couldn't blame him. I had completely forgotten that Black Star can do 'Black Star Big Wave' using his soul.
Damn! If only... I thought. I was about to give up until I saw a glimpse of Yanade and Suki. They're so worn out and tired but they never backed down.
I've known Naomi--I mean Yanade all my life. Ever since childhood, when things might get hard for her, she would always say "Never give up without trying! Only sissys gives up! Only weaklings give up! I am not weak! I am strong!"
With that optimistic attitude, she can do anything. I thought
I can never be like Yanade. You know why? Because I'm her complete opposite. A pessimist. A dumb girl who can't even think positively.
But...can I win if I think like Yanade? Who always looks on the bright side of things. Can I? Can I defeat Black Star? If I--
"Oops." Black Star said as he almost stabbed me with his katana, luckily I was fast and moved away.
"Aww...I missed..." He said as He raised his katana again. "Oh well...let's try again." He said
Here it comes. I closed my eyes and wish I could just disappear.

Wait...why am I not feeling anything? Where's the pain?
I opened my eyes and saw Hanna on the floor holding her left shoulder which was...oh God...bleeding like hell!!
"H-hanna!!" I said as I pulled her up
"Y-you dumbass o-onee-chan..." She said panting.
"H-hanna...w-why?" I said trying hard not to cry.
"'Cause...onee-chan...i-is dumb...onee-chan is always scared..." She said standing up "B-but...even though onee-chan is l-like that...she is s-strong."
"That's why...we can still win!" Hanna said "Even though I'm like this...it's fine since onee-chan is strong!"
I was shocked after she said that. Me? Strong?
She grabbed my hand and said "So, let's continue and fight!!" and when she smiled it was full of determination.
I smiled too. "Yeah!!"
"Cut it out with the drama already! Are you gonna give up or are you gonna continue?" Black Star said slightly bored.
I looked at Hanna and nodded as she transformed back into a manriki. "Hell yeah we are!!"
"Yosh!" He said "That's what I like to hear!"
"You there!!" He pointed at me "Make this battle, a one that I will never forget!!"
I raised my manriki and said "Yeah!!"
And so, it begins.
~Yanade's POV~
And so there. Maka and Soul lay on the floor...dead? Nah! Of course not! I ain't gonna kill my heroes!
The worst I can do is paralyze them, aynway.
Wondering what happened? I used another technique I learned from Kid in one of our practices. It's called 'Crystal Wave' a very simple attack.
Crystal Wave is used to paralyze people for 20-30 min. It can be longer, depending on the power of the user. Basically all you need to do is put the Double Axe in a vertical postion, placing one end at the ground and, because of your 'Resonance of the souls' you can transport your wave length to your weapon.
If Black Star can do 'Black Star Big Wave' I can use 'Crystal Wave'. By placing my weapon vertically, one part touching the ground, I can release my wavelength through Suki and to the enemy.
You know that 'electric-pink thing' that I told you earlier? That was supposedly my wavelength covering and protecing Suki, and as I realeased it, it hit Maka and Soul causing them to be paralyzed.
Being paralyzed is just like being in a coma. A sleep, in simpler terms. All you can see is darkness and you can't move your body ('cause you're paralyzed), so you have no choice but to...well...sleep.
No harm done, right?
Now this is what you call simple win. By the time they wake up they'd already be tied up really hard. Which is what I'm doing right now.
"Hey, Yanade-nee, are you sure this is fair?" Suki asked when we were finshed tying up Maka and Soul who were still paralyzed.
"Of course it is. I don't wanna kill them, so this is the best thing to do." I said
"Umm...ok." She said
"Aren't we going to help Yuri?" She asked after a while.
"Now that..." I started "...is not fair. This is Yuri and Hanna V.S. Black Star and Tsubaki. Their game. Their fight. No one must interrupt."
"Otherwise, that would be cheating and cheating would be...? " I asked her
"Um...unfair." Suki said
"Exactly." I said
"Oh...I see." Suki said
And we continued watching Yuri and Black Star fight.
"Yanade-nee?"
"Yeah?"
She smiled "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
I smiled too "YUP!!" I said cheerfully.
What? Who wouldn't enjoy watching an epic battle? What's more it's live!!
"You're not even worried about her?"
I sighed, turning serious again, and slowly faced her "You have no idea how badly I want to help her." I said very coldly.
Good to know, that shut her up.
What? I can be mean when I want to, ya know?
~Yuri's POV~
From the looks of it, Yanade and Suki have defeated Maka and Soul.
I guess Yanade used her special move, 'Ember Crystal' to finish them off. Now it's my turn to use my favorite special move, 'Illusion Chains'. (although it's not my most powerful attack, it is the one I mastered)
Illusion Chains is where my manriki chains grow longer, and its ends becomes bigger. All I need to do is spin my manriki around Black Star and Hanna will do the rest.
Hanna has the ability to create illusions. And by wrapping Hanna around Black Star, she can close his eyes (not literally) and make him see a different place/thing, thus having an illusion.
Tsubaki being affected is hard to tell. I don't know about this, but I think Tsubaki has an ability that enables her to not get..."illusionized" by Hanna.
I don't know what it is, but soon, I'm gonna find out.
If this would work Hanna can control what Black Star sees. I can hold Tsubaki (or even tie her up with Maka and Soul) long enough for Hanna to make Black Star freeze.
You see, if you see an illusion, of course you would be confused. And if you see a lot of pointless and useless illusion together, you'd be more confused. (No sh*t)
Your confuseness causes your brain to over-think and stop working, thus your whole body freezes and you can't move.
You may be able to think or even see, but you can't move any body part. That's how 'Illusion Chains' became my favorite move.
You might question how an illusion is able to make this happen. Hanna has perfected the 'Art of Illusion' so she can make people see different ones, no matter how crazy it is.
But, as I would say the crazier, the better chance the victim would be more confused. Simple, The crazier, the better.
So, what are we waiting for? Let us begin the 'Art of Illusion'
