Meryl's POV
I'd just finished watching The Notebook when I heard my phone go off. It was a Twitter notification from Danica.
Did you see this? *picture of Maks kissing Karina's forehead*
I gasped. Is that why he hasn't touched me in a month? Is he cheating on me with Karina?
I then heard my phone ring. A picture of Karina Smirnoff showed up on my screen. I wanted to decline but at the same time I wanted to know what was going on so I answered.
"Hello?" I said quietly.
"Hey, Meryl. I just want you to know that Maks was upset today so we went out for drinks and that's all that happened. Before he left, he kissed me on the forehead but that was it. Nothing happened Meryl." I could tell Karina was telling the truth.
"Okay... Thanks for calling me..."
"Wait!!" Karina yelled.
"What?" I asked confused.
"I sent a surprise to you. It should be there in about 20 minutes or so. I think you'll like it a lot." I could hear her excitement on the other end.
"Really? You didn't have to do that. Thank you." I wondered what she had sent me.
"But, I did. I've got to go. Bye!!!" Before I could reply, she hung up.
