4 years later......
I was standing in front of my mom's house after a long trip home. I was done with medical school and I start working in a week so life was good.
My mom had made me promise her that I would stay with her for the rest of the summer and move out in my own after. I wasn't going to complain. I get to spend time with my mom and save money at the same time. It was a win-win situation.
My mom's house is pretty big but when my cousins and aunts visit it gets small. we are loud and crazy when ever there's a family reunion it's crazy.
Anyways I should tell you what I'm about to walk in to. Well my parents got divorced about four years ago and she was living with her boyfriend soon to be husband and his son.
My mom, Victoria and Michael have being dating for two years now. I've met him a few times and I liked him. He makes my mom happy. His son however I haven't had the pleasure to meet. He is always busy and out of the country because of his company.
I knocked on the door ones and I was greeted by my mom's arms. I smile as I hugged her back.
"Welcome home sweetheart" my mom yell in my ear.
" Ouch mom don't yell in my ear!!!" I told her while hiding my ears with my hands. " Sorry, I'm just so happy your finally home. I've missed you so much." she explain and pulled me in for yet another hug.
When I finally was released from my mom's arms I saw Michael looking at us with a big smile on his face. But then something or someone to be exact got my attention. There standing was Nate looking at me smirking. What the hell is he doing here?
I looked at my mom confused.
" Oh yeah, honey this is Nate,Michael's son." my mom explain " and he will be living with us too so you guys get to know each other since we will all be a family soon." my mom continue.
You might be asking how come my mom doesn't know that we know each other. Simple I never told my parents about him. Right about now I'm regretting not telling her about him.
"Hi I'm Nate. How was your trip?" he asked me like he didn't know who I was. I mean it has been 4 years and I've changed but not to the point that he couldn't recognize me.
"Elizabeth but you can call me Liz and the trip was long but fine. I'm just glad I'm home." I said playing along with it. "Mom I'm tired. I'm going to unpack and get some rest."
"Ok. I'll go get you when dinner is ready. Oh Nate why don't you help her with the luggage."
"Sure, Let's go sis" that bastard. I smiled and nodded for him to follow me upstairs.
I walked into my room and finally felt like I was home.
"Where you want your bags?" I jump at his voice. I totally forgot about him. "Just put them in that corner over there" I answered without turning around.
"OK" I heard him drop my bags and then walked over to me. I didn't have to turn around to know that he was behind me as he whispered in my ear. "Just when I thought you couldn't get any beautiful and hot you turn up and prove me wrong." I knew he knew who I was. dammit he still turns me on like no one else has. I couldn't speak. He turned me around and made eye contact with me.
I felt weak. He smiled and bent down to kiss me. I was paralyzed but kiss him after few seconds. He pulled back and his voice came out so sexy as he said. "Welcome home sis" I just stared at him with a blank expression. He smirked and walk out of my room.
What the hell was that?
