3rd P.O.V
A couple and their 6 year old daughter were now in front of the Konoha gates.
- Do you think this is the best idea? – the woman asked.
- Don't worry dear, it's for the better. This way they won't know that we're here. – the man answered.
- Wow.....IT'S BIG! – the child said excited.
Her mother looked at her and smiled sweetly.
- It's our new home sweetie. – she said.
- YAY! – the child said.
- Who are you? – a guy protecting the gate asked.
- We're here to talk with the Hokage. He knows of our arrival, here. – the man answered giving him a letter.
The guy opened it and read it.
- Very well, welcome to Konoha. You can go. – he said.
- Thank you. – the man and woman said and went to the Hokage's tower.
*At The Hokage's Office*
- Hiroto, Kana. It's good to see you again. – the Hokage said.
- It's good to see you too. – they said nicely.
- And who is this beautiful child? – the Hokage aske smiling.
- I'm Saori! – she answered happy.
- You're full of energy aren't you?! – the Hokage said.
Her smile grew even more.
- Now, why don't you wait outside while I talk with your parents? – the Hokage said.
She pouted.
- Hokage-sama, she can hear the conversation. She knows why we're here. – Kana said.
- She does? – Hokage asked.
- She might be 6 years old but she's very smart and strong for her age. – Hiroto said.
- I see...she might be a good match for Fugaku's oldest son Itachi. – Hokage said smiling.
- Is that so? – Hiroto said amused looking to his wife.
- HIROTO! Stop being like that! She's not going to marry him, she's 6! – Kana said pulling Saori near her.
The Hokage sweatdropped and the child giggled.
- Anyway. Let's talk then. – Hokage said.
They nodded.
- You came here because you say that someone wants Saori an Kana, correct? – Hokage said.
- Unfortunately, yes. – Hiroto answered.
- Somehow these people found out about mine and Saori's...condition and now they want us. – Kana said.
- Do you know for what? Or do you know them? – Hokage asked.
- No, we don't. – they answered.
- Very well. Are you aware that I had to warn the Uchihas about this, right? – Hokage asked.
- Yes, Hokage-sama. – they answered.
- Is that going to be a problem to my parents? – Saori asked serious.
- Saori. – Hiroto said calmly.
- Why child? – Hokage asked.
- Because I don't want to be a burden to the Uchihas and especially not to my parents. – Saori answered.
- Saori, you will never be a burden. – Kana said.
- I only told them for precaution causes, I hope it won't be a problem. – Hokage said.
Saori nodded.
- In your letter you said you could be part of the ANBU, correct? – Hokage asked.
- Yes, Hokage-sama. – Kana answered.
- Very well. Saori will enter the academy tomorrow. I suggest you to go talk to Fugaku not only to talk about this and so he can give you the keys to your house. – Hokage said.
- We will. – Hiroto said.
- Very well, here. That will be your mission for tomorrow. – Hokage said.
- Yes, Hokage-sama. – Hiroto said.
They were about to leave when...
- Wait! – Saori said.
- What is it sweetheart? – Hiroto asked his daughter.
Saori went to the Hokage and gave him a hug.
- I'm sorry for what happened to Konoha on the Kyuubi attack. – she said sad.
- Thank you child, that's very kind of you. – Hokage said.
- Let's go, Saori. – Kana said.
- Bye! – Saori said to the Hokage.
*At the Uchiha Compound*
- Wow...it's like...another village. – Saori said impressed.
- Indeed. – Kana said.
- Why are they separated from Konoha? – Saori asked.
- It's complicated sweetie. – Kana said.
- Let's get in and go to Fugaku's house to talk with him and so he can tell us where we are staying. – Hiroto said.
- You're okay? – Kana asked Hiroto.
- I am dear. It's just...I might be from here but...you know when I left things got a bit tense. I don't want her to pay for that. – Hiroto said worried.
- She's strong Hiroto, we raised her well. We trained her well. Try not to worry about it. – Kana said kindly.
- Yeah dad! Don't worry! – Saori said grinning.
- What would I do without you 2? – Hiroto said smiling.
They got in and started receiving looks, glares and whispers until they got to Fugaku's house.
Hiroto knocked on the door.
Suddenly a woman opened the door.
- Hello. – she said nicely.
- We're here to talk with Uchiha Fugaku. – Hiroto said.
- Yes, come in! I'm Mikoto. What's your name cutie? – Mikoto asked the child.
- Saori, pleasure meeting you. – she said.
- It's a pleasure meeting you too. – Mikoto said.
They got in.
- I'm going to call him so you can talk with him. – Mikoto said.
They nodded.
After a minute or so Mikoto, Fugaku and his kid showed up.
- Hiroto. – Fugaku said coldly.
- Fugaku. – Hiroto said.
They weren't taking his eyes off of each other.
Fugaku then looked at his son and he immediately nodded and left.
- Mikoto, take their daughter so I can talk with them. – Fugaku said.
- Of course. Come – Mikoto started.
- Uh...with all respect. She already knows why we're here, she's very smart for her age. She can listen. – Kana said politely.
- She's just a kid, I doubt that. – Fugaku said coldly.
- What did you say? – Hiroto asked.
- Calm down. – Kana told him.
- You're Fugaku-san, correct? – Saori asked politely.
- Then you have a son named Itachi, which was that kid who walked away. For the way he looks he has the same age that I do, also you 2 came together from there which means you were training. For what I've heard he's very smart for his age and also talented...a prodigy. What makes you think that I'm not or I can't be one? – Saori said serious.
Hiroto smirked all proud that his little girl stood up to Fugaku.
- I see. Still, that proves nothing. – Fugaku said.
- Does this? – Saori said activating her sharingan.
Mikoto and Fugaku widened their eyes when they saw it.
- How do you have the 3 tomoe? – Fugaku asked.
- That's for me to know and you to find out. – Saori said coldly.
Kana put her hand on Saori's head.
Saori undid her sharingan.
- I'm not just a foolish kid. – Saori said confident.
- Very well...let's talk. – Fugaku said still not satisfied.
They went to his office and talked about the main reason why they were here. After discussing security measures he told them where they were staying and gave them the keys.
They were about to leave his office when Fugaku stopped them.
- One more thing. – he said.
- What is it? – Hiroto asked.
- Try not to call to much attention. If she wants to train, take her to another place. – Fugaku said coldly.
- She's just a kid, just like yours Fugaku. She's a Uchiha as well. So what's your problem?! – Hiroto said getting mad.
- Calm down Hiroto, please. – Kana said.
- She's not like Itachi and you know what my problem is Hiroto. And this isn't a request...it's an order. – Fugaku said.
- YOU – Hiroto started.
- It's okay dad, I can train somewhere else. – Saori said interrupting him.
Her parents looked at Fugaku madly.
They were about to leave the house when Mikoto appeared.
- You're leaving already? – Mikoto asked nicely.
- Y-Yes. We need to get some rest from the trip. – Kana said.
- I see. Well, Saori you can come here whenever you want to and you can meet Itachi and be friends. – Mikoto said nicely which made Fugaku look mad.
- Thank you...but I know when I'm not wanted. Can we go mom, dad? – Saori said.
- Yes, we can. – they answered and left, leaving a confused Mikoto behind.
*At their new house*
- Well, it's not bad. – Hiroto said.
- It's nice. – Kana said.
Saori was just looking around, not showing any emotions.
- Saori? – Hiroto said.
Nothing.
- Sweetie? What's wrong? – Kana asked.
- Mom...dad? – Saori said.
- Yes? – they said.
- Will they always be like this to us? – Saori aske with a hint of sadness.
Hiroto sighed.
- Sweetheart...we hope not. They're just – Kana started.
- Scared...I know mom. – Saori said.
- Look, the Uchihas might be cold and sometimes mean but...the Hokage is really nice and he wants to help us. You can go visit him whenever you want. – Hiroto said.
- Thank you dad. I just don't want to be a burden. I don't want to put anyone in danger. – Saori said.
- You aren't one and never will be. – Kana said.
- You're not putting anyone in danger and this is not your fault Saori. – Hiroto said.
- What about we go shopping so I can make your favorite today? – Kana asked.
Saori's eyes light up.
- YES PLEASE! – Saori said running around.
- You always know what to say. – Hiroto said and kissed his wife which made her smile.
- I just hope that this passes. – Kana said.
- Me too. – Hiroto said.
*The Following Day*
- Saori, wake up. – Hiroto said.
- Hmmm. – Saori said.
- Sweetie you have to go to the academy. – Hiroto said again.
Saori slowly got up.
- I'm up. – she said still sleepy.
- Go get ready and then come and take breakfast. Okay? – he said.
- Okay. – Saori answered.
After getting ready and having breakfast she was ready to leave as well as her parents.
- Why are you coming? I know where the academy is. You showed me yesterday. – Saori said.
- We know sweetie! – Kana said with a smile.
- We have a mission today, we'll be back tonight. Okay? – Hiroto said.
- Oh! Okay dad! Good luck! – Saori said smiling.
*At the Academy*
- We have a new student in our class. Please introduce yourself. – the teacher said.
- Hello. My name is Uchiha Saori. Nice meeting you. – she said.
Some kids started whispering and others gave her cold looks...there was only one kid that didn't do it.
- Very well, you can go sit over there. Okay? – the teacher said.
She nodded and went to her seat.
Saori P.O.V
Why are they all whispering?
Why are they giving me those looks?
Is this going to be like this all the time?
I noticed that Itachi was in this class, he seemed to be different from the others. He gave me a sympathetic look but then I remembered what his father said.
I sighed.
I just hope it gets better.
*After the Academy*
3rd P.O.V
Saori went home and her parents were already there.
- Mom, dad! – she said happily.
- Hey cutie! – Hiroto said picking her up.
- How was it? – Kana aske with a warm smile.
- It was nice. Although I didn't make any friends. Oh! And Itachi is on the same class. – Saori explained.
- I see. – Hiroto said.
- I'm glad you liked it. – Kana said.
- It will get better and I'm sure you'll make friends sweetie. – Hiroto said putting her down.
She smiled all happy.
During dinner she told them about her day at the academy and told them what they did and learn.
When they all went to bed the couple talked.
- She seems happy. – Kana said.
- She is, don't worry. – Hiroto said.
- I'm not...it's just. She's 6 and the Hokage told us today that she is already going to take the exam to become a genin. – Kana said.
- Yes and that's great! She's strong dear. Don't worry. – Hiroto said.
- I know she is but...she's our world Hiroto. – Kana said.
- Hey...honey, look at me. She's an amazing fighter and very smart. She'll end up fine, you'll see. – Hiroto said.
- I know...but we'll be going on more missions...DANGEROUS ones and some of them will take WEEKS! – Kana said worried.
- We already told her that. She said she'll be fine! You know how she is, everything will be fine. – Hiroto said.
- I know...I'm sorry. – Kana said.
- Don't worry so much. Time will pass and she'll make tons of good friends. – Hiroto said which made his wife smile.
- You're right. She'll be okay. – Kana said.
- We'll all be okay. – Hiroto reassured.
