An optical illusion known as the "Troxler Effect" causes people to see a distorted version of their face in the mirror after staring at it for 10 minutes. Sixty-eight percent of people saw a giant deformation in their face, forty-eight percent of people had seen their face turn into monstrous beings, twenty-eight percent of people their face as an unknown person, and eighteen percent had seen their faces changed to their parents with traits changed.
