Demi and I got in my truck and went all the way to New York.. Demi and I were both a little nervous through the trip but we managed to have fun while we were trapped...
Unfortunately, we took a lot of time stuck in traffic and by the time we were entering New York, Demi was almost asleep
- Are you tired? - I asked not taking my eyes off of the street
- A little.. - she said standing straight in her seat.
- How about we stay at my house through the night?
- Okay.. - she said leaning on my shoulder and closing her eyes, which only made me smile
I drove by New York feeling at home.. I loved New York! It had a special place in my heart

I felt something tickling me in the nose making me wake up - What?

I looked at my right and saw a big apartment with golden glass doors - Wow!
He got out of the car and I got out too. I was no longer sleepy for some reason
We walked inside and got in the elevator. Everything was shiny and modern.. - This is so cool!
He smiled - Yeah.. it's pretty awesome
He opened the door and I got inside.. it was so cozy but still modern like the building. I looked through the window and saw lots of lights in the dark..
- New York is so beautiful!! - I smiled amazed. It looked like I was looking down at stars!
He turned on the power and the lights turned on.

I looked scared at my back - What was that?!
- The phone.. I gotta hear them ok? Try to find something in the closet for you to wear.. The bedroom is that door and the bathroom is that one
I smiled and nodded hugging him - Thank you..
He rubbed my arm and I went to his bedroom. It was a small white bedroom with mirrors on the closet doors
I pulled them to the side and started to look for something to wear.. I found a big white shirt that fitted me like a dress..
I took off my shoes and jeans and went to him

He looked up with a finger in front of his lips and smirked eyeing me from top to bottom. I sat next to her and he putted his arm around my shoulders while I leaned to his chest
- .. and you still have to end the last song for the album. You'll have a concert on September 3rd and don't forget about the movie premieres of CWYWF okay? For now it's all..
He pointed down on a paper what the man said to him and the phone moved to the next message.
I heard the next messages and noticed it was everything about music, concerts and events..
After one bip, he ran his hands through his curls and looked up to the ceiling letting out a sigh
- You're a musician?
He looked down and smiled - Yeah
- So you're like those rich people who do movies and have a pretty face?!
He laughed - You think I have a pretty face?
I shrugged - It's not that ugly
He got up and picked me up - I think you should go to sleep 'cause you're starting to say silly stuff
I opened my mouth smiling - I'm only saying truths!
- Oh really? - he smirked throwing me on the bed and going to his closet to take off his shirt
- Yep.. you're not that ugly..

- I'm slightly offended! - he said putting his hand on his chest
I laughed and he sat next to me on the bed - You forgot the living room lights Jonas
He groaned and I watched his back muscles moving while he ran to the living room
He came back and laid down next to me.. - Don't get me wrong but I missed this place..
- This is actually the first time I'm in the city.. - I said to the air
- Don't worry.. we'll be going back tomorrow if you want
I sighed and he stood up on his side looking at me - What's bugging you? - he asked looking at me
- Just.. if we start anything.. how can we make it right? Like.. you're from here and I bet that you won't ever want to leave New York.. but then I have everything down there.. my family's grave, my house, my friends..
- Are you saying that you don't wanna start anything?
- Nick.. we'll be both heartbroken in the end..
I looked at his eyes and saw his red face - After all I've been through, there's definitely no chance for us huh?
I closed my eyes a little and he turned away standing up just when I opened them
- Where are you going??
He picked his pillow up - I'm going to sleep on the couch.. goodnight
He closed the door behind me and I started crying.. what could we possibly do to make this right?
It was now almost 1 a.m. and I'm still awake.. I've been thinking back and forward of ways to make us together..
Demi.. you've always wanted to go to the city..
Could I live in the city? Am I sure I could leave my family?

Right now, all he has been doing his turning his back and leaving..

I got up and walked through the dark. I walked to the couch and he moved his head
- Are you awake? - I whispered
I couldn't see his face but I did see him nodding - Yeah.. - he answered with his voice cracking
- I don't wanna give up.. - I said starting to cry

I leaned to him and he hugged me kissing my shoulder multiple times - Calm down
- I lost everything and I don't want to lose you too - I said to the pillow beside his ear..

- Please don't sleep here.. - I said pulling up and sniffing
He pulled my face to him and kissed me tenderly - We will find a way to make this work ok?
I nodded and kissed him again. with each kiss, he calmed me down a little bit more because with each one of them, I felt love!
We walked together to the bedroom again still hugging each other
He laid down his pillow again and I saw something shining on his face when he passed by the window
We laid together and when he turned his face to me again, I grabbed it and cleaned his tears with my thumb
