Five years later
I've been working at SHIELD (Finally shortened the name) ever since. I was twenty one now, or at least twenty one next week, and am proud to say I reached a level 7 agent two weeks ago!
I was on a mission in Serbia, it was dark and the room smelt oddly of strong alcohol and cheese puffs... I told you it was strange... I was currently tied up to a chair, my black dress ripped at the edges and my hair which was once tied up in a bun was now covering my face. The door of the strange smelling room opened and light flooded in as well as a Serbian terrorist SHIELD was trying to put down.
"You are vair beautiful, you know huh?" The man said in poor English, I simply smirked at him, "No speak?"
"Oh, I speak and yes... I did know I was beautiful... However, does your wife and children know what you do for a living?" I asked nonchalantly as I searched his thoughts,
"How you know 'bout my family?!" He demanded angrily and I winked in response, "How do you know!" He demanded again and slapped me across the cheek, I laughed,
'I know about your family like I know all you're secrets, for the same reason I am talking to you now, I am in your mind!' I said to only him telepathically, he jolted in surprise,
"How?" He asked as he pointed a dagger on the skin of my neck, I just shrugged in response, just about to answer when my phone went off,
"Erm do you mind if I get that ?" I asked politely as I released myself from my bounds effortlessly and reached inside my bra for my phone,
"Erm, hello?" I asked casually down the phone as if I wasn't where I was,
"Agent Long, you are needed back at base" Fury's voice echoed through the phone,
"Uh-huh" I said questioningly, "Eyeballs? I'm kinda busy at the moment... You know that Serbian mission you sent me on, yep? it's happening right now" I said coolly thinking Fury'd gone mad,
"I know, Lock; however, we need you back at base. Is there a problem with that?" Fury replied sarcastically, I laughed down the phone,
"None at all, see you in a few!" I added as I hung up the phone and looked at the terrorist in front of me smiling innocently,
"I've gotta go" I said in a mock-glum voice, the man sneered in response,
"You are not going anzywhere!" He boomed, I put my hands up in fake surrender,
"Okay, calm down", I said as I sat down, "Hey look, it's not you it's me" I added as I started to go in the well-known breaking up speech, "We're just two different people, I mean you are a terrorist, I'm a spy, you have a family and I work for a company with an extremely long name... It was never going to work out" I said smiling innocently once more,
"What are you talking 'bout?" He asked confused,
"Bye baby cakes" I said winking at him before I manipulated his brain so he was paralysed to the spot, standing up from the chair I stretched my legs, "Better luck next time, huh?" I smiled innocently as I shot him once in the chest and strutted out as if I owned the place.
