I believe hair is one of the most hardest and most important things to upkeep.
You need to tend to your scalp, not just your strands. You need to make sure you are not just shampooing and conditioning, you get your whole head and hair.
Wash before you color. I know you guys may have some different opinions, but this is what Jennifer J., an L.A. professional colorist has said. Product buildup can hurt or make the color look different. A stylist can make a better color judgment by looking at your natural hair color!
When getting bangs, don't tell the stylist, just the word bangs. You need to be very picky and tell them exactly what you want and bring a picture!
Don't wash your hair everyday, when you do you are getting rid of essential oils. You should consider washing your hair every other day. If you have oily hair then I suggest using a dry shampoo.
Getting rid of split ends is a have to. It can hurt your hair and possibly stunt healthy growth.
Go easy on the products, some of them can dry out hair.
