When you got back to the motel, you wanted to get to work that woman wanted you and Sam to work on. You had to get your mind off Dean. You knew he loved you, he proved that to you every day. But there was a small part of you that made you think that he wasn't entirely happy with you.

You knew the need he had for being accepted. With Lisa, she and Ben accepted Dean into their family. Lisa and Ben were his family, his blood family. Compared with that, you were nothing. Your heart broke at the thought of Dean leaving you but you didn't know what would happen if he did decide to leave you.

Sam got a jump on calling his mom's friends, doctors, and family members but you got in a few calls before your thoughts overtook your mind, making you not able to continue with whatever that woman wanted you to do.

The thought of having a family with Dean made you very happy. You wanted nothing more than to have a mini Dean or a mini you running around, sending you and him joy. But you weren't ready and the fact that he already has a son, made you feel like you were second best now.

If you were in Dean's position, then, of course, you would want to find some way to support your child and their other parent, but the fact that Dean hasn't come back to the motel said something and you didn't know that when he returned, he would still be yours.

"Hey Y/N," Your mind was snapped back to reality by Sam's hand in your face and you bit your lip, looking over at him. "I've been calling your name."

"Sorry, Sam." You whispered, getting a new wave of tears, not yet spilled.

"Wanna talk about it? You know he loves you." Sam said, knowing why you were sad.

"I know he does." You said quietly.

"Then why are you worried?" Sam was right, you shouldn't worry when you knew he loved you. But the other part of you knew the small truth.

"I don't have a kid." You said, sighing sadly.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dean did some back but only at night. He wasn't drunk so you knew he didn't go out to a bar so that only meant one thing. He was with Lisa. It was a little early for bed but you were so tired from worrying and crying, that you needed your sleep now.

"Please, talk to me," Dean begged after a long 30 minutes of the silent treatment from you.

"Do you love her?" You asked, looking up at him. He opened his mouth to answer you but nothing came out of it.

"Do you want to be with her?" You asked, letting a few tears fall. Again, nothing came out of his mouth.

"Dean, I'm going to need an actual answer from you." You said, glaring at him.

"I don't know! Okay? I'm not going to leave you if that's what you're worried about!" He said. You could see Sam in the corner of your eye, trying to become invisible and you felt bad you were doing this at this time, in front of him.

"Come on, Dean, I've become second best and you know it." You said with a huff.

"What are you talking about?"

"The first mention that you have a son and you're in love with the idea of having a perfect little family, giving up hunting. Don't try and deny it, Dean, I know you better than you think I do. I just don't know what appeals to you more, the fact that you have a son or the fact that you might be able to have a chance at normalcy before you're sent to Hell for the rest of your life, leaving me, Sam and everyone who you ever knew, behind to pick up the pieces."

"Hey, I did that to save you," Dean said, glaring at you.

"I didn't ask to be saved!" You raised your voice, staring at him in the eyes. You knew you hurt him and at the moment, that is what you wanted but it wasn't true. You knew that if Dean died, you would sell your soul to save him.

"Right, like you wouldn't do the same for me," Dean said, rolling his eyes. Suddenly, you didn't feel like arguing. You just wanted to sleep but you didn't want to sleep next to him, that much you knew.

"I'm going to bed." You said, gathering the blanket from one of the beds along with a pillow.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To the car." You snatched Dean's keys so you could sleep in the car.

"What? Come on, Y/N, don't be stupid. You can take the bed and I can take the couch if you want." Dean said, not believing this.

"I don't want to be near you right now." You said, looking back at him before exiting the room, slamming it shut. You walked to the Impala and got in the back seat, trying to find a good position before you could cry yourself to sleep.

"Can you believe her?" Dean asked Sam, once you left the room.

"Yeah, I can, actually," Sam said, speaking the truth.

"What?"

"Look, you love her, right?"

"Yeah, I do," Dean said with a sigh, sitting at the table with Sam.

"Then there shouldn't be any problem here. Look, I get that you have a kid and you suddenly feel protective over Ben more so now, than before, but Lisa has been on her own since he was born. I'm sure she'll be fine, on her own, for the next 10 years. Plus, do you really want to drag them into our world? Just telling her about what happened last night is a big enough risk as it is." Sam tried to get this through Dean's thick skull.

"But, Sam, I have a son. I never thought I would have one or even be able to get the chance to think about one." Dean said, knowing already what to do.

"I understand that, Dean. But you have a girl who is crazy in love with you, in your car, probably crying herself to sleep. She's been with you since you were five-years-old, Dean. Doesn't that count for something?" Sam said before getting up and grabbing his bag to change into pajamas.

Dean sighed and let Sam's words sink into his brain. He looked out the window of the room and saw the car. He couldn't see you but you were already passed out, dried tears on your face.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You rolled your head to the side, expecting to hit the back of the seat but frowned when you didn't feel it. You opened your eyes to see you were inside the motel room, on the bed. You looked over to see a pillow on the couch and knew Dean was the one who brought you in. The fact that he slept on the couch and not with you, made you smile a little bit.

But then you remembered your fight and you sighed sadly, looking over at Sam's side of the room, seeing him passed out. You looked at the time and saw it was almost 7 in the morning. Sam was usually up by now but you knew he was tired and let him sleep.

You didn't know where Dean was and even though you had the fight, you still wanted to see him. You put on your jacket and slippers, walking to the front door and opening it. You saw the Impala still there and was about to go check to see if he was in it when you heard a crunch from underneath your feet.

You looked down and saw rose petals on the ground. You followed the trail to see them disappear around the corner of the building. You saw most of the petals scattered from the winds and some of them dirty, due to people stepping on them as they lived their lives.

But you knew to follow them.

You grabbed the motel key before you left and shut the door, following the path of the pedals. You knew Dean was behind this but you didn't know where he was or what was at the end of the trail. When you came to the corner of the building, you smiled at what you saw.

Dean was there, holding a rose, standing next to a table he found just lying around in the trash and got the blanket he used as a makeshift tablecloth. On it was take-out food from a Chinese place since he knew you liked having weird food, early in the morning.

"Table for two," Dean said. You walked closer to him and took the rose form him, knowing that he was yours and that wasn't going to change.

"Look, I'm sorry I acted like an ass. I love you and there is nothing, on Earth or in Hell, that will make me feel differently." Dean said. You looked into his eyes and smiled, sniffing the rose.

"You didn't have to do this." You said, looking at the table.

"Yeah, I did. Look, I have a son and that's great and all but I don't have a son with you. Staying out of Lisa and Ben's life is the only way to protect them from what we do. But, that's okay because I have you." You smiled widely and pushed up on your toes, giving him a slow kiss. You pulled away and your stomach growled at the sight of the food.

"Come on, let's bring this inside. My slippers are getting dirty." You said, turning around and walking away from him. Dean smiled and gathered the food, leaving the table and blanket where it was. He chuckled when he saw you walk away with your bright yellow SpongeBob slippers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You didn't know how she did it, but that blonde woman found herself to both you and Sam this time. Dean was out, getting a few things for the road before you headed out so, it was the perfect opportunity for her to visit you.

"What do you want?" You asked when you let her inside your room.

"Did you do as I asked?" She asked, looking at Sam and then at you.

"Yeah, they're all dead. All of my mom's friends: her doctor, her uncle and everyone who ever knew her. They just seemed, systematically wiped off the map one at a time." Sam said, telling her what he found out.

"And you?" She asked, looking at you.

"Sorry, I'm dealing with some shit right now. But the calls I managed to make... dead. The only person I know that knew my mother, is Bobby but he's still alive. But a Hunter, so his records are wiped away too." You said, not even knowing her name.

"Someone went through a hell of a lot of trouble trying to cover their tracks," Sam said.

"Yep, the Yellow-Eyed Demon." The woman said.

"Wait, what's your name again?" You asked.

"Ruby." She said.

"Okay, Ruby, so, what's your deal? You've been following us, I know that much. You seem to know all about me and Sam and even our mothers." You aid, crossing your arms.

"I already told you." She began to say but Sam interrupted her.

"Oh, right, right. Yeah, yeah. Just a hunter. Just some hunter who happens to know more about my own family than I do. Just tell me who you are." Sam said, glaring at her.

"Sam..."

"Tell us who you are, Ruby." You said a little louder.

"It doesn't matter," Ruby said, laughing. This was the breaking point for Sam because he got in her face, yelling at her.

"Just tell me who you are!"

"Fine," She said, looking at Sam and then at you. She blinked but when she opened her eyes, they were pitch black. Oh shit, she was a demon. When she blinked again, they went back to their normal color.

"Great." You muttered, backing up from her a bit. Sam, on the other hand, scrambled for his backpack to get out the holy water he kept on him.

"Think twice before going for that holy water," Ruby said, chuckling.

"Just give me one reason I should," Sam said, holding the flask in front of him as if it would protect him.

"I'm here to help you, Sam. I'm here to help both of you."

"Is this some kind of joke?" You said. If she wanted to kill you, you would be dead so, you didn't think she was here to harm you... yet.

"God's honest truth... or whatever."

"You're a demon!" Sam yelled.

"Don't be such a racist. I'm here because I want to help you. And I can if... you trust me." Ruby said.

"Trust you? You want us, hunters who hunt demons, to trust you, a demon?" You asked, not falling for it.

"Oh, please, calm down," Ruby said, rolling her eyes.

"Start talking. All those murders... what was the demon trying to cover up?" Sam asked.

"I don't know," Ruby said, shrugging.

"What happened to my mother?" Sam asked.

"Why was my mother killed?" You asked.

"I honestly don't know. That's what I'm trying to find out. All I know is that it's about you and it's about Y/N."

"What are you talking about?" You asked.

"Don't you two get it? It's always been about you two. Whatever happened to your moms and their friends? They're trying to cover up what he did to you. All I want to do is help you figure it out." Ruby said. You narrowed your eyes at her. Why would a demon care about that?

"Why would you want to help us?" You voiced your opinion.

"I have my reasons. Not all demons are the same. Not all of us want the same thing. Me? I want to help you from time to time. That's all and if you let me, there's something in it for you. Actually, for the both of you." You thought about calling Dean but her next words made you rethink that.

"What could we possibly get from this?" Sam said but Ruby interrupted him.

"I could help you save Dean."
