*~* Max's POV *~*

The week went smoothly, it was busy, yes, being the best man had it's pros and cons but overall it was great.

I started everyday with Amelia beside me, either asleep or awake. She was there. She too had her own responsibilities, so even though we didn't manage to spend the whole day together everything was perfect. She was there at night.

"Dude, calm down. You have nothing to worry about. I'm your best man and I'll make sure that you don't faint. All you need to do is stay at the aisle and not stand up Cheryl," I said to Seth calmly. He was freaking out, wondering how everything would turn out, he needed the comfort of his mate but he wasn't allowed. He was prohibited by Aunt Alice.

"You don't understand man, what if something bad happens? What if she says no?" He questioned. I felt like laughing, Seth was really thinking too hard.

"First of all, she isn't going to say no because she loves you and you love her and she already agreed to marry you it wouldn't make any sense if she said no," I pointed out, which seemed to help him little.

"You've got a point there Max, thanks," He said, and then smirked at me followed by nudging my arm.

"What?" I asked him.

"I bet you are thinking about when you are going to marry Amelia," He guessed, the thought then occurred to me. I hadn't really thought about marrying Amelia.

A smile came upon my face, that would be great. To marry Amelia, it would stop any chances of us not being together. It would be perfect, but Amelia said she didn't want to rush into anything.

We have forever anyway, so we don't need to rush into anything.

"I wasn't thinking of that until you mentioned it," I told him truthfully, he arched his eyebrow at me disbelievingly, clearly not believing what I had just said.

"Liar," He stated, causing me to roll my eyes at him.

"I'm not a liar, I wasn't thinking about marrying her, but don't worry one day it would happen," I said to him and then ran my fingers through my tousled hair even though I knew that Aunt Alice was going to have me in for it.

Seth looked at me as if he was trying to tell if I was lying or not.

It's good to know that he believes me.

"Okay, okay you weren't," He said defeated, holding his hands up in the air in surrender.

I just ignored him and looked around, the ceremony was going to start soon some of the guests had already settled themselves down. The chapel was nearly full, filled of members of Seth's and Cheryl's family with the absence of the bridesmaids, parents of the bride, the bride herself and Amelia, the maid of honour.

It was a few minutes until the ceremony was about to begin, people were talking amongst them, the mother of the bride soon joined and made her way to the stands.

"How do I look?" Seth then asked, his previous confident facade had gone and was again replaced with anxiousness.

"You look too young to get married, you can just about get away with seventeen no where near eighteen - Ow! What was that for?" I said but then was interrupted by him punching my arm hard.

"You are not helping!"

"I'm being honest! Okay, you look fine, Cheryl would love it. Chill," I assured him, still thinking that he did look too young to get married but really he's like... 39.

It was then the ceremony was about to start, I could still feel Seth's nervousness and excitement. I was excited too, I haven't seen my Amelia since yesterday.

The flower girls walked down the aisle throwing confetti and petals on the ground followed by the page boy who was holding the rings. Then Cheryl came, her arm was linked with her father's as they walked down the aisle.

Cheryl and the bridesmaids looked beautiful but it was nothing compared to how Amelia was looking. I felt my mouth go dry as I stared at her, she was radiating with beauty and perfection as she lead the bridesmaids down the aisle.

And damn, she was right. She was wearing a red silk dress which showed off all her curves yet managed to keep the rest to imagination. The urge to grab her and leave was becoming bigger as she came closer.

It must've been pretty obvious that I was checking her out because Seth nudged me, he wasn't one to talk, has he seen the way he's looking at Cheryl?

I saw Amelia smirk at me as Cheryl gave her the bouquet and stood to the side. Cheryl's father gave Cheryl's hand to Seth and the ceremony begun.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness this man and this woman in matrimony," The priest started, "To anyone who objects, speak now or forever hold your peace."

Everyone remained silent, I could feel Seth sigh in relief when the priest continued. I kept my eyes soley on Amelia, who was looking back at me but was still sending glances at the couple.

"Do you Seth Clearwater Swan take Cheryl Elaine Fialy to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold from this day forward for better or worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish from this day forward until death do you part?"

Seth, without any hesitation replied to the Priest, "I do," whilst looking at the girl who he was only moments anyway from being united with. I finally looked at the couple, in time for Cheryl's vows.

"Do you Cheryl Elaine Fialy take Seth Clearwater Swan to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward for better or worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish from this day forward until death do you part?"

Cheryl hesitated, but in a good way, the euphoria she must be feeling must've made her speechless but after a second or two said, "I do."

"May I have the rings?" The minister asked smiling, the page boy shyly walked closer to the happy couple and gave the rings.

They took turns to put each others rings on each other, smiling goofily at one another without a care in the world. I smiled and then looked at Amelia who seemed to be doing the same thing.

Yeah, I definitely can't wait until I marry Amelia. I looked back at the couple making me look like I was paying attention when my mind was else where.

"You may now kiss the bride," The Priest concluded and took a step back. Seth cupped Cheryl's face and kissed her, I averted my gaze from the couple once again and looked at Amelia, who was beaming, her beautiful green eyes shining as she looked at me and inconspicuously blew a kiss my way.

After a minute or so and a few people clearing their throat the newly wed couple finally broke apart, still beaming. Seth linked her arm and then walked her down the aisle followed by the parents. I linked Amelia's arm through mine and walked her down the aisle.

"I love your dress."

"I love your shirt."

"I love your smile."

"I love yours too, you're eyes are enchanting."

"Yours are mesmerizing."

"You look handsome."

"You look beautiful."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

It was weird how speech just flowed as we walked down the aisle, to the cars outside. I pressed my lips to her cheek for a brief moment as we walked down the steps from the chapel to the car park. Amelia then unhooked her arm and quickly walked over to Cheryl to help her in the car and to return the bouqet, in her red high heels which made her legs seem miles longer then they were.

It was then I realised her killer dress was backless, exposing more skin then I had ever seen.

Does she like to torture me?

I self consciously wiped any spit that might've escaped my mouth with the back of my hand.

"Real smooth, Max," I heard Seth call out just before he got into the car, causing Amelia to quickly turn her gaze to me with her eyebrow arched.

I felt blood rushing to my cheeks, something that rarely happened anymore which seemed to cause Amelia delight. Oh well, I'd do anything for her. I quickly looked away to stop any further embarrassment.

Thirty seconds later, someone walked up to me, I knew it was Amelia without even looking at her, she just seemed to have to aura around her which made her better then anyone else.

"What happened?" She asked, her tone was amused. When I didn't look up at her, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She placed her dainty finger tips under my chin and redirected my gaze towards her. "Tell me, please!" She gave me the puppy dog eyes, I took a mental picture of how she looked, so cute as her eyes widen so each gold fleck was crystal clear. Her bottom ip was pouted making me just want to kiss her senseless.

"You look absolutely beautiful," I said to her, it wasn't a total rundown of what happened but I knew she would understand. At first, she arched her eyebrow again but then within seconds, she smirked.

"Oh Maxie, if you have to check me out at least be inconspicuous like me," She teased and then winked at me.

*~* Amelia's POV *~*

"It's an absolute honour being the best man for my man Seth today, I'm happy that he has got the girl of his dreams. Which seems to remind me, it's Valentine's day. Now, I know that there are many couples in here, probably not married yet but I want them to have a special moment with the one they love, cherish it - just don't get intimate. Love each other without fear, trust without questioning, need each other without understanding, want without restrictions and desire without inhabitions. For a love so free, will never fly away. Never let go of someone you love and remember that true love never dies it only gets stronger with time."

Max's eyes never left mine as he spoke into the mike, taking his role as the best man and having the first speech. His deep voice was sending shivers down my spine from where he was standing, his enchanting hazel eyes locked onto my green ones as he spoke. He didn't have a prompt card in his hand and I never knew that he had prepared a speech, but if I knew better, he had made it up on the spot.

Everyone broke into applause as he had finished, it was short but it said a lot, not just to the newly weds but to everyone.

I continued to clap, as he walked from the stage and back to his sit, beside Seth, three people down. I gave him a smile and mouthed, 'Great speech' to him. He smiled back at me, I felt like laughing. With my power I could tell all the things he wanted to do to me, but he was holding himself back.

"Great speech, who knew you had it in you?" Seth told him and hit his arm. Max shrugged, his eyes still locked with mine.

"It just came to me, the spur of the moment, I'm lucky I didn't screw up," he answered truthfully.

"It wouldn't have mattered because you've already said it. You gave everyone something to remember," I interjected. Seth and Cheryl nodded in agreement, the parents were engaged in their own conversations before the next speech.

*

It was time for the first dance, Seth led Cheryl to the dance floor and everyone followed. Max grabbed my hand, I felt happy to finally be in his possession. It had been a while, all the speeches and toasts had been done and everyone - well the majority of the people had eaten.

Seth and Cheryl started to dance on the dance floor looking into each other's eyes totally in their own world. There could've been a fire and I bet they wouldn't have noticed because they were so wrapped up in one another. It was one of the many benefits of being in love, you couldn't had the most challenging day of your life and you could be with the one you love and forget it all.

I looked over the Max, who was looking at me the same way Seth was looking at Cheryl. I smiled at him and leaned forward to kiss his cheek - thankfully I was wearing heels so I didn't need to go on my toes - and then stayed closer the him then I already was.

I felt his muscular chest pressed against my side making me want to do some rather inappropriate things to him and it didn't help that he had started to rub circles with his large, gentle hand on my back causing goose bumps to rise over my body yet a warm and tingly sensation whirled within me.

It was a matter of seconds until it was time for others to dawn upon the dance floor, for everyone else's first dance.

"Shall we?" Max asked me, his voice was deep and husky which sent more shivers down my spine and for my already hammering heart to skip a beat.

"We shall," I answered. Continuing to smile Max led me to the dance floor in time for the second song. I'm still here by Iris.

"I am a question to the world, not an answer the be heard. Or a moment that's held in your arms." The song started. I placed my hand on Max's shoulder and he kept his on my bare back still rubbing the circles whilst our other hand was intertwined.

"It's Valentine's day," Max stated as we began to waltz on the marble flooring.

"And?" I said, not really sure where he was going with this.

"Would you be my Valentine?" He asked me hopefully. Did he really have to ask? I couldn't help but tease though even with the irresistible look on his face.

"Depends, what do you have in store?"

"I have something planned. I'm sure you would like it - I'm hoping you do anyways," he told me, his voice was pleading. He had made plans. That was so sweet, he barely had anytime this week!

I couldn't help but smile at how cute he was being and to think he was the guy who had been permanently suspended.

"Where?"

"Surprise, which brings us back to the previous question. Would you take the honour and be my valentine? Or do I have to get on stage, proclaim my love and then ask you in front of everyone?"

I knew that he was telling the truth. I knew for a fact that he would very well go on the stage and ask me to be his Valentine.

I closed the space between us and pressed my lips to his for the first time today. I had missed the way his soft lips felt when they were pressed against mine and the feeling I that surged within me.

He caused a fire inside of me yet a sensation that just lusted for more as his tongue caressed mine. With all the passion that was within me, I wouldn't have noticed a thing in the real world.

I pulled apart, with my hands digging into his hair and our bodies pressed against each other still swaying.

"You don't even have to ask," I informed him, with our noses brushing against each other and our ragged breath mingling.

"Thank you."

After the first dance, I was made to go dance with other men, I knew all of them which was a relief so it wasn't bad engaging into conversation.

"Max can't keep his eyes off you," Uncle Emmett felt the need to inform me. "Which is quite sad because he is dancing with other women."

I rolled my eyes at him as we danced, and glanced over to Max as he danced with Ness, his eyes on me just as Uncle Emmett had pointed out.

"So? What's bad with that?"

"Um, oh... uh, nothing really," he said sheepishly causing me to chuckle but I was surprised. He wasn't going to tease us about it? "Well at least he's smiling again and not looking at your photos everyday like some sort of weirdo."

With that I punched him in the arm playfully but it still ended up hard causing him to complain.

"He missed me, at least he had something to dwell on. I didn't have a single picture of him only memories," I pointed out.

"True but it's harder for you to move on when there are reminders of that person everywhere. So I guess that he did it, even if he did know that he couldn't do something about it, so that he didn't have to move on."

I didn't know what to be shocked with, at Uncle Emmett's words or the fact he was actually being serious.

"I guess that's true but at the end he didn't have to move on, I came back and I'm not leaving ever."

"You need to go with Cheryl to put on her going away dress," A voice, who I quickly distinguished as Mum's said as she approached us. I nodded and let go of Uncle Emmett, I thanked him for the dance and walked over to Cheryl who was waiting.

"Not long until your honeymoon eh?" I said to her as I approached.

*

Cheryl was changed into her 'going away' outfit and we were now back at the reception and everyone was gathering by the entrance ready to bid goodbye and happy honeymoon to the newly weds.

Seth approached Cheryl, complemented her and asked if she was ready, both physically and mentally. She nodded and then he led her to the door.

Smiling I trailed behind them only to be accompanied with Max. With a quick peck on the cheek, he wound his arm around my waist as we followed.

We gathered quickly, near the Aston Martin which was rented for the occasion as the crowd said their goodbyes. It wasn't long until they had reached us.

"Have lots of fun, okay? And not just that kind make sure Seth let's you leave the hotel every once in a while," I joked as I hugged Cheryl, she alongside Seth blushed deeply causing me to laugh at them.

"Seth, have fun and do nothing to break this girl's heart okay?" I told him.

"Don't worry, you aren't the only one who would have him in if he did anything to me and he won't," Cheryl assured, her previously red cheeks had gone back to the tanned colour she was, as she looked at Seth lovingly.

"Maybe it's Cheryl that won't let Seth leave the hotel but I hate to disappoint but if you don't leave now you are going to miss your flight," Max said, still taking on the role as the best man. They nodded and walked along to say good bye to their parents.

They soon entered the Aston Martin but before Cheryl did she called out for all the unmarried girls - Mum, Aunt Rose, Aunt Alice and Ness included even though they were married - to crowd around so she could throw the bouquet.

Eagerly we all gathered around and waited for her to throw. She turned around and threw bouquet. Determined, I jumped up in the air to grab flowers only to succeed.

I cheered, alongside many others and the couple finally settled in and drove off.

"So now what?" I asked Max, flowers in hand as I approached him.

"Surprise."

*

"Where are we going?" I asked Max, for at least the thousandth time.

"Surprise," he said for the thousandth time.

Hm, I looked around and just, well, saw trees. Max was leading me through the woods after getting me to get dressed into some warm clothes. So I settled with the 'Bite Me' T-shirt I had got with Aubrey and some jeans, ballerina pumps and snug cardigan.

I looked at Max, a picture of pure perfection, he was wearing some jeans that fit him perfectly without being to tight or loose and a basic red T-shirt with some sneakers. I noted that he didn't look the slightest annoyed with me asking the same question over and over again, instead he was smiling.

"Okay, okay, how long until we get there?" I asked impatiently. I loved going on dates with Max, he took me to some interesting places.

"Not long, are you getting tired?

"No, just curious," I told him. After about a minute of walking with Max, his arm was casually settled around my waist as I left my hand on his back and mindlessly rubbed circles which I knew was going to excite him.

We continued to walk, content in our silences until we approached one of the La Push beaches. And there I saw a candle lit picnic underneath the stars.

"Oh Max..." I trailed unsure on what to say. It was so cute, romantic and simply perfect.

"Do you like it?"

"No, I love it. Oh Max, this is perfect. Thank you," I said, my voice was off because of the euphoria that was built inside me.

"Anything for you Amelia," Max answered simply, as he led me to our picnic for two.

I sat myself down and Max did the same and just looked at the sea. It looked absolutely beautiful at night, as the full moon hit it just right. Switching my gaze back to Max, his hazel eyes which smothered gold boring into mine.

"You really now how to make a girl feel special," I informed him.

"Only you, and you don't know how I feel. I have the world's most beautiful, amazing, funny, charming, lovely girl beside me right now and I love her so much."

"I love you too Maxie, so much and thank you for this for everything you really are the world's most handsome, sweetest, wonderful, charming, most caring guy and I love her so much," I said, tears of pure happiness were bridging up in my eyes. I could die now and be the happiness person on earth.

Smiling, Max leaned in to peck me before he reached into the picnic basket and took out a luscious looking green apple.

"We have apples, you have no reason not to eat."
