Since a few people have asked me to make a cover tutorial, I'll be showing you guys how to make the cover above.
Step 1: Open the app Over. (Please keep in mind that this app is only available on iOS)
Step 2: Once you open up the app, click on the tiny create button (its a small + sign in a circle and its at the very bottom of the page), and then click on the white circle.
Step 3: You'll see the cover size when you open the white background. Click on them, and make sure the "constrain proportions" tab is off. Then you can change the size to a Wattpad cover size. (1024 x 1600 or anything similar) then hit the check mark once you're done.
Step 4: open up the image you want to use. There are a few options for editing your image, and you can add a filter or change the exposure, contrast, etc. I'd recommend using a picture with only a singular colored background for this tutorial.
Step 5: Once you've edited your image and your satisfied with it, click on the white background, and this edit tab should come up. Click on that.
Step 6: Slide over to the background tab, and then click the droplet button. Then this circle thing should pop up and move it over to the background of your picture. The white background should change to the color of the picture's background.
Step 7: Hit the check mark and then double tap on the picture to edit it. Slide all the way down and click the mask button, and then select the soft brush that I've circled down below. Then carefully erase out the parts that stick out so the picture and the background look blended together.
Step 8: Click the check mark to save your work, and then click on the text button to add your title, author, and watermark if needed. There are a bunch of options to edit your text and you can go ahead and mess around with those if you'd like.
Step 9: Center your text in the middle. To do that just move it around until these yellow lines show up through the text. The font I used here is called "Swimsweet" (you have to download it from dafont)
Step 10: Once you've added all of your text, save your image. (Also I changed the title, whoops)
Step 11: Now open your image in PicsArt.
Step 12: Now its time to add all the doodles and shit. There's two ways to do this. The first way is to hit brushes, and add doodles. I added the sparkles using the brushes, and the white lines by his shoulder. The other is the draw, which I used to add the red line and the stars by the text.
Step 13: save your image and you're done!
Here's the final result (which is also posted above). The cover's pretty ugly and extra, but I hope this tutorial helped!
