4:56 AM

{Effy}

Halfway to the nearest hospital, Sketch came to, mumbling half heartedliy about cheese covered fries. After a quick inspection and never ending game of 21 questions, we all decided it was best if we kept this out of the eyes and ears of the public.

Eden and Anwen agreed to look after Sketch until he was fully alert and functional again, so Jack dropped the rest of us off at our houses.

I crept in through my back door, holding my boots by the laces. The kitchen light was on, and I could hear my mother clanging about.

"Effy, darling? Is that you?" Her airy voice floated through the narrow hallway between the staircase and the kitchen. I flinched and power walked up the stairs.

There's no way she could see my blood stained dress and not have me dragged off to an asylum.

"Yeah, mum. I'll be back down in a second." I hurried up to my room and tossed the soiled dress underneath my bed. Pulling on the nearest set of pajamas, I rushed to make myself look somewhat presentable.

I took the steps back downstairs by two's and landed at the base with a thunk. My mum was sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of her signature dandelion tea in a large mug that she had made in her pottery class a few weeks ago.

Her organically dyed hair was tied up in a neon elastic band, a sunflower was settled behind her ear, and her petite frame was concealed by yoga gear.

"Hello, dear." She sipped, flipping through a fitness magazine. "I was just getting ready to do my sunrise yoga. Would you like to join me?"

I crossed the room and threw the refridgerator door open. All of my usual deliciously unhealthy snacks had been replaced with all things organic and vegan. After my parents got a divorce, my mum tuned in with her inner self, painted our kitchen yellow, and turned our house into hippy nation.

I settled on a suspicious looking muffin and plopped down in the seat across from my her.

"No, thanks. I'm just going to eat this and probably go to sleep."

Her tight, golden curls bounced around her head as she nodded.

"Suit yourself." She pushed away from the table and placed her cup in the sink. I'll be out back if you need me."

She was halfway out of the kitchen when she back-pedaled.

"Oh, there was a package for you in the mailbox. I left it on the table by the front door."

{Sketch}

10:45 AM

I groaned inwardly as I rolled over. The incessant throb in my head that had started as soon as I had woken up in the limo had been causing me discomfort for the past eight hours.

Beside me, I could hear my sister tapping away on her iPad. I opened one eye and saw a porcelain plate with a rather delicious lookng breakfast settled on it. Eden had obviously chosen to spoil me today.

"Morning, sunshine." She peeked over her screen for a few seconds and then turned away again. Stretching my arms out to the sides, my right hand came in contact with something soft. Pulling back the duvet a bit, I saw a snoring Anwen cuddled into my sheets.

My face flushed as I turned back to look at my sister. She was smirking down at the tablet in her hand, fully aware of what I was startled about.

"Don't worry, Sketchy. Nothing happened. She just fell asleep." I collapsed back into my mattress, slightly disappointed.

But why?

DId I want something to happen between us? I shuddered a little at the thought of my little sister walking in on me in the act with one of her best friends, and then quickly pushed it out of my mind.

No. We were just friends.

But maybe I was wrong. She had kissed and then invited me to her house the night that I was kidnapped from Ellis's parents gala.

Who knows what could've happened if I hadn't been snatched.

Out in the hallway, the phone made itself known by ringing in an obnoxiously loud manner. Eden untangled herself with a grunt and left to go answer it.

Anwen stirred lightly beside me and sighed quietly. "Don't get used to the sight of me being your bed, blondie. You had your chance." She smirked then shifted slightly, returning to her state of peace.

{Felix}

I hadn't meant to do this to her. My intentions were innocent enough, at least in my opinion. But things had gotten completely out of control.

I took a heavy swig out of the glass of vodka in front of me. Fuck it. I didn't need the glass. Pressing the bottle to my lips, I chugged until there was nothing left.

A shudder ran through my body as I rolled it across the floor. It clanged loudly against the others that had accumulated throughout the night.

My body slumped against the wall, heavy with shame. My head felt thick, clouded with guilt.

How could this have happened?

My phone rang for the thousandth time that night and once again, I ignored it. I hadn't told anyone about the letter I had gotten, where I had been, or what I had had the misfortune of finding out.

The letter now lay crumpled in my trash can, an old report card attached to it. All A's.

My chest contracted violently as reflected on it all, warm tears trickling down my face.

I was crying. I never cried. Nothing was ever worth it in my opinion, but this was much worst then anything else I had ever done.

I had really fucked it up this time.

I stumbled sluggisly to my feet, everything spinning rapidly around me. I needed someone to talk to. I needed Rosie.

As I reached out for the door knob, a loud knock echoed through my otherwise silent house. I immediately panicked, assuming the absolute worst. The contents of my stomach threatened to crawl back up my throat. But then I heard it.

"Felix? Babe, it's me, Rosie. Are you okay?"

An involuntary smile broke out across my face as I let her in. It was like she knew I needed her.

{Rosie}

He was a legitimate mess right now. His usually sparkling, chocolate eyes were red rimmed and liveless. Dried streams of tears were being intertwined with new ones.

I could barely understand him between sobs. This was a side of him I never thought I would see, and quite frankly didn't want to.

He had told me everything.

How he had only wanted an A. His grades were perfect apart from that class, and he didn't want something messing up his flawless GPA.

He handed the destroyed report card over to me. He had wanted everything about him to be perfect.

So he had seduced her. Basically brainwashed her before she knew what was happening. He had only meant for it to be a few nights of meaningless sex with a teacher for a good grade. It hadn't meant a thing to him.

But she had gotten attached. She had fallen hard for him. Who could blame her? Even staring at him in this fragile state, he looked absolutely irresistible.

I ran a hand through his hair that wasn't in it's usual neat quiff, but rested lazily against his forehead.

He told me about how she had left her husband, saying something about how she had found someone better. Someone who would treat her right. But after, Felix had breezed through the semester with exceptionally high marks, the special treatment stopped.

The gifts stopped. The compliments stopped. Everything was over in his opinion. He no longer had a reason to charm our naive teacher.

She had given him what he wanted, and he had only broken her heart.

He rambled on about how he had discovered that her husband had kicked her out of their house and told the school adminstrators about how she had had a relationship with a student.

She never gave out Felix's name, thinking that he loved her back, and was forced to give up her position as a pyschology teacher at our college.

But every night she sneaks back inside the school to sleep.

Felix let out a heavy sigh, and closed his eyes. "I made her lose her job. Her family. Her house. Everything. No one wants to hire her because they know that she had an affair with a student."

My head spun around with all the details of his story.

"What did you think was going to happen, Felix? You should've known this wasn't going to end well." I paused, studying his face. He really was sorry about this.

"Can I tell you something that Ellis told me once?" Felix smirked a little, some light returning to his eyes.

"I already know about the time Ellis stripped naked and went swimming with dolphins at the aquarium."

I threw my head back, lauging hysterically at the memory. It had been the first time my brother had gotten drunk.

"No, that's not it. It's that you can't just splash around because then other people will get wet." He contorted his face slightly, his confusion apparent.

"Ellis said something that intelligent?" I smiled down at him and shrugged.

"It happens." Felix moved his head from my lap to my shoulder, the smell of alcohol danced off his lips.

Yes, he had been extremely wrong. No one should be taken advantage of the way Mrs. Harries had, but it killed me to see someone I cared for like this.

I knew I would pay for what I was about to suggest. We had all been gven strict instructions not to do this, but the damage had been done already. What else could possibly happen?

We'd seen it all.

"Felix? ...Let's run away for awhile."

____

Tsk tsk, Felix.

Didn't your mother ever teach you not to sleep with your teachers?

Things are about to get a little crazy, so I hope you're ready! Okay, so now I need a favor.

Stop what you're doing. Yes, even you, Kayla, stop looking at pictures of Louis' butt for a second.
