Could you kill me?
A strange question,
Yes I see.
For who could really kill a lover,
A sister,
A daughter,
A granddaughter,
A niece,
A friend,
A student,
Maybe I am just a stranger.
Could I be in danger?
But could you kill me?
Would you kill me?
I couldn't kill me,
Maybe you are glad to know,
Or sad to see,
I am happy being me.
...
So why did I ask the question then?
Well, do we truly know who is around us before we ask the question
nobody can answer.
I know it is a sad point,
Even for me.
But who would truly save our lives at sea?
And who would let us slip and drown,
putting us underground.
Letting us die without a sound.
Close your eyes, maybe it is best not to think tonight.
