Chase's POV:
*the next day*
Chase: "hey Sofia are you ready to go?"
Sofia: "yes lets go!!!!"
Chase: "Thank you. A lot"
Sofia: "No problem Chase I'm so excited to do this with you"
I smiled at her and we got into the car. We started driving to the strip mall and i turned to Sofia
Chase: "You know i never saw this day coming"
Sofia: "what day sweetie?"
Chase: "Me living with Drew. Me being pregnant. Drew being happy, you being happy. ME being happy..."
Sofia: "what do you mean?"
Chase: "i never saw myself having a happy ending with Drew. I mean i love him so much but i didnt think he really loved me."
Sofia: "Of course he loves you Chase. You just haven't noticed it"
I gave Sofia a look of confusion and she smiled
Sofia: "do you know that scene from Tangled where Flynn is looking at Rupunzle with love filling his eyes, but Rupunzle is too distracted to notice?"
Chase: "yeah?"
Sofia: "Well just like Rupunzle, you've just always been too distracted to notice"
Chase: "i guess very distracted... the only look I've ever seen in his eyes was lust... right before... Uhm .. *coughs* Ive-Ive never seen him look at me lovingly.. and i just never.. i dont feel like im the kind of person he would want a happy ending with. Or the person he would marry and have a family with. And i feel bad because even though i didnt intend this it feels like i trapped him-"
Sofia: "trapped him? Boy ! Are you crazy? I lived with him 17 years and let me tell you he's got it bad for you."
Chase: "really? I don't think so..."
Sofia: "he talks about marriage and a family with you. Just open your eyes Chase. Hes crazy for you?"
Chase: "r-really? It-it's probably only because of the baby...hes never even told me he loves me..."
Sofia: "no he talked about it before. He says he just knows youre the one"
Chase: "r-really?
Sofia: "most definitely Chase. Hes so excited"
With those words i had faith for my future. And i was excited. Ive always seen Drew as my happily ever after, but knowing he felt the same way just made it feel that much more real. I felt ecstatic. I felt like my heart was glowing. It was magical
