Today was hectic
I set an alarm for 5 am, but you know my lazy self woke up at 7, when I was supposed to reach there by 8.
So the first thing I did was force myself to take a SHORT shower, which was very hard for me.
I quickly fixed my hair into a low curly ponytail, there was no point in doing makeup, so I threw on some mascara.
For breakfast, I grabbed a granola bar, and a cup of coffee.
So that's how I am here, basically speeding, to reach my first day on the job
It's already 7:56!!
When I reached there, it was 8:06, and I knew I had it in for me
I saw Lea again, threw her a smirk, while she gaped at me and waited as the elevator ascended
I took deep breaths, as I entered the top floor, feeling confident and good.
That all changed when I saw Maybelle looking at me with a stank face
"What are you doing here"
I smiled sweetly at her
"I'm the new personal assistant, haven't you heard?" And with that I made my way to Liam's office
I knocked about three times, no answer.... hoping I didn't see what I saw before, I slowly opened the door
What I saw could've made me melt in a matter of seconds
Liam was sitting on his desk one hand writing furiociously, both eyebrows furrowed down, and the other hand going through his curls
I stared for sometime, all I wanted to do was go over all the creases tat formed on his forehead with my hand. I coughed very loud, hoping to finally get his attention
He looked up, anger written on his face "What the-", anger soon turned into calm
"Oh it's you"
"I'm sorry I just came by to...umm..see what I had to do"
"You are late though"
I knew he would do this fire me, punish me, God it's only my first day...
"Hey, Renae, I won't do anything it's your first day, let me show you where you will be"
He took my hand, my hand!!! And tingles shot up, I quickly took my hand away
A quick look of.......hurt? I'm guessing, crossed his face as I followed him.
But nahh, that could not be.
He led me through a door that was connected to his office, great.....Ill be working right next to him
"This your place, every morning come and get your work assigned by me every morning, if you have any questions feel free to call me, and here are some files to feel out, lunch is at 3, come see me before you go"
He handed me the files,and our hands brushed against one another, nothing but sparks
Could he possibly feel it too?
3 came by pretty fast, and I only had about three more files to do, so I decided to bring it with me to lunch.
I peaked my head in Liam's office, he was kissing and grinding on Maybelle like his life depended on it
How sickening
But I could not ignore that feeling, stored up in my chest...........jealousy?
I discarded the thought and made my way downstairs (That will help me excercise), when I bumped into a hard chest
Papers went flying
I looked up and saw a cute guy with green eyes and light brown hair, he was wearing awfully tight black pants and a flower shirt
"Oh gosh, honey I'm soo sorry"
There was something about him that made me laugh
"What you laughing for boo, you making me wanna laugh too"
"I'm sorry you are just really funny and cute"
He whipped back some imaginary hair
"Ooh honey you already know I get that alot"
We both started picking up papers
"Soo, do you have lunch right now"
He gave me all my papers
"Mmm, girl, now you reminded me, I do actually, I need me some chipotle, you want to come along?"
"Of course"
We took my car, and we talked a lot, since Chipotle was kind of far
I figured out that his name was Troye, and he reminded me of a gay bestfriend I never had
I didn't want to ask him if he was gay or not, cause it might offend people, but I had my thoughts
We entered Chipotle still laughing about some joke he made earlier, and ordered salad.
"So, Renae" He said seductively "Tell me how it is working so close to the big chunk of goodness, in other words, Mr.Williams"
I slapped his arm playfully
"And why would you want to know that?"
He simply giggled at me.
"You seriously can't tell nae nae, I'm a rainbow, loud and proud" he yelled
Well my theory is confirmed, and I didn't care if he was gay, I don't necessarily believe that homosexuality is the right thing to do, but if that's what Troye wants, he has a choice, I'm not going to preach for him to stop, or stop being his friend, it's his life, his choices. If a person wants to do something or be something different, just be happy for them
"Be quiet Troye, and I don't feel anything towards Mr.Williams" I said thinking about Maybelle and him
He gave me an "I don't believe you one bit face"
"Mmhmm, well I used to have a crush on him until I figured he doesn't go that way, hashtag tear, but that doesn't stop me from staring" he winked
I sighed, he is too much.
We quickly raced back to the office, noticing we stayed too much on chit-chat, forgetting about the time, so much for finishing my work...
I grabbed Troye's hand in one hand and my files in the other and ran upastairs (he worked on the same floor as me)
"Girl, you pulling me like there is a fire"
"Do you want to get fired" (heh)
We arrived but, immediately halted when we noticed a very angry Liam staring at us, but then his eyes moved to our holding hands
We quickly let go
"Where....were....you guys" anger seethed through every one of those words
