"That's so cute, they were cuddling" Tori laughs as she pulls out her phone. I roll my eyes at her and look over at Trevor. I'm pretty sure he was looking at Ronnie then he looks at me.
"It's like rolling around one in the morning Cam" Breenan said.
"Okay and?" I said looking at Breenan.
"And nothing, you two continue your little date, sorry" Nia says pushing him down the hall. I hear them go downstairs and Tori was typing away on her phone.
"I'm going to go. I have an early hair appointment, do you think you can take me?" Tori ask Trevor.
"Yea, what time?"
"Eight" she smiles.
"Okay, I'll be there to pick you up" he said leaning over to kiss her and she smiles. Damn, must be nice to feel Trevor's lips right now.
"I love you" Tori says to him.
"I love you too" he said and she smiles and walks out the door. Trevor stands by the front watching Tori then closes the door. He turns to look at us and I was still dead ass staring at him. He walks down to the kitchen and I bite my lip. Now that Trevor is here, I do want to spend some time with him.
"How long have they been dating?" Ronnie ask me as he sits up.
"Umm... probably their junior year of high school, I'm pretty sure" I said.
"Wow, that's a long time" Ronnie says and I smile at him.
"I know but I feel like someone being with Trevor, time just flies by because he's such a sweet guy" I laugh and Ronnie stares at me. Did I say something wrong? "What?"
"Nothing. It almost seemed like you... liked him or something"
"Me? Like Trevor?" I laugh and shake my head. "Umm of course not. He's literally like my older brother"
"You guys haven't messed around or anything?" Ronnie ask.
"Why? Does it seem like it?"
"I mean... I catch you staring at him a lot. Also doesn't he live next door? Earlier it looked like you were coming from his house" he says standing up.
"No. I was really taking a jog around the neighborhood and I have never hooked up with Trevor, like ever. And will never. I don't like him" I answer.
"Good... because I like you and I don't like competition" Ronnie says leaning over to kiss me and I smile at him. "I'm going to get going but we should continue this show this week" he adds standing up.
"Yea, that'll be great" I said as he walks to the door. "I go dress shopping this week, so I should have a color for you"
"Yea sounds good. It's no rush" he smiles as he opens the front door. "But I'll text you"
"Okay! Night" I said as he leaves the house. I felt like I rushed him out but I wanted to at least talk to Trevor before he heads home. I head to the kitchen and Trevor was sitting on the counter on his phone.
"Hi" I said and Trevor looks at me. I see him look me up and down and I walk over to him.. "Umm... how was the movie?"
"Good, how about yours?" he laughs.
"It was fine" I say barely hearing myself. I cross my arms and stare at him and he clears his throat. I look at his neck to see a dark bruise and I stare at it confused. "Is that a... hickey on your neck?" I say reaching up to touch it before he grabs my hand. I stare at him and he looks at me confused.
"Here, come on" he says jumping off the counter and we head to the back and he closes the door. "We should take a break from all of this?"
"What?"
"Let's take a break from me teaching you everything"
"Why?"
"Because... I need to spend more time with Tori. Then Nia walking in on us today. And also... we're just spending too much time together"
"So? We grew up together?"
"You know what I mean?"
"No... I don't. Please explain. I literally just asked if that was a hickey on your neck, that's all" I said getting aggravated and he looks at me confused.
"Camari... you're getting mad at me right now because I want to take a break from. And yes it's a hickey... and you know who did it? My fuckin girlfriend. I told you not to catch feelings"
"I'M NOT!" I said and he stares at me.
"Just give it a week. We chill on everything for a week. You go get your dress, spend more time with Ronnie. Put my lessons to work and then we will pick it up next Monday or something, okay? I promise" he says and I shake my head.
"Whatever Trevor" I said turning around to go back inside. I walk inside the house and went to turn the TV off in the living room and went up to my room. I shut the door and went to lay on my bed. I honestly shouldn't be mad Trevor wants to take a break. Maybe he's right. Maybe this is good because I hate to admit it... but I think I'm slowly falling for him. Damn!
We do one little sexting session and I'm ready to drop my panties for him. I wish I could talk to someone about this but Trevor and I promise not to tell anyone. Damn it. I need Desi more than ever.
"Can I come in?" I hear Nia's voice.
"Sure" I said sitting up as my door opens.
"Here's your popcorn" she says handing me the package.
"Oh... thanks"
"So how'd it go tonight?" she ask sitting on my bed.
"Good" I said.
"Well what happened?" she smiles and I really didn't feel like talking about it. The only reason Trevor wants to take a break is because Nia walked in on us and he got nervous. So basically this is all Nia's fault. I should be pissed off at Nia.
"I'm actually really tired, so I think I'm going to go to bed" I said and she stares at me then looks down.
"Right" she says standing up and walking to my door. "Cami, if you ever want to talk about anything, please let me know. Even if it's about Trevor" she says and I roll my eyes.
"Can you get over it please? Nothing is going on between us and nothing happened earlier" I said aggravated.
"Nothing happened with who?" someone says and we look to see Breenan.
"Nothing... stop being nosey" I said.
"Why can't we tell him?" Nia ask and I stare at her. Is she forreal? Nia shakes her head. "Nothing babe"
"Is this about Ronnie? Did he touch you Cam?" Breenan says.
"Can you guys just leave... please" I said and Nia steps out into the hall. I hurry to shut and lock my door. I roll my eyes like they were still there then went to get back into bed.
He wants a week? Can I do a week? Will I make it a week?
When Tuesday rolls around, I was home from school and Ronnie and I have been texting each other non-stop. I usually will head upstairs to my room but once Nia and my mom get here we were going dress shopping.
The front door opens and I immediately regret not heading upstairs. I was doing so well with avoiding Trevor the past couple of days. I was irritated with him. Yes... I might be catching feelings but why is he acting like he's not?
"Hey" I hear Trevor say and I ignore him. "Umm... hello?" he says and I look up at him.
"What?"
"I said hi?"
"Hi?" I said annoyed and looking back at my phone.
"Damn Trevor, what'd you do?" Breenan laughs sitting down on the opposite couch tying his shoe.
"Beats me" I hear Trevor say as he sits down next to me. I move over and I see Trevor stare at me.
"Wow Camari... you're making it seem like you have a wittle crush on me or something" Trevor says out loud and Breenan and him start laughing. I look at Trevor and he stares at me. How the hell should I respond?
"Really? Because last time I checked you came upstairs to my room, closing the door?" I clap back. Trevor's stupid ass smirk leaves his face and he stares at me.
"What?" Breenan says. "Dude... you were not upstairs in my sisters room" Breenan laughs.
"I mean... she was just asking me for some rubbers for her and Ronnie" he clap backs and I drop my mouth.
"What the fuck?" Breenan says standing up. "You're not going to sleep with him"
"Trevor is lying Breenan" I said as I stare at him.
"Why would he lie about that Cam?"
"I don't know he must like me or something" I said and Breenan laughs and Trevor joins him.
"He doesn't like you. He has a girl for one. Two... that'll be gross because we're all like family. And three... I wouldn't allow it. My best friend and little ass sister? Yea right. Talk about cliché" Breenan says leaving the living room.
