"COME UP TO THE PLAY AREA!!!!" Nicholas shouted. "YES SIR!!!" I chuckled. I ran up to the play room and yanked the baby security gate open. I saw a whole crew of soldiers in a...... Barbie doll house!!!! I immediately burst out laughing. "N... Nick?! Wha... What is this?!?!" I struggled laughing and talking at the same time. "Its the soldiers house! You like it?" Nicholas' eyes twinkled. "Of course!" I ruffled his hair. Just then, the doorbell rang. "Oo! I'll go get my friends and we can play together alright?" I winked at him. He had a crush on Janelle. "JANELLE?! YAYY!!!!" Nicholas started dancing around and I ran down to get my friends.
"Manda! Door!" My grand aunt said from the kitchen. "I got it!" I said as i slid down the stairs and ran to the door. "Hey guys!" I greeted the girls as I yanked open the door. "Took you long enough." Kyra narrowed her eyes at me cheekily. "And I LOVE YOU TOO!" I said, letting sarcasm leakout of my voice. "MANIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!" I heard the sound of my name being mentioned sliding down the stairs as little Nicholas appeared skidding down the stairs."Yes, my prince?" I said, sweeping him off his feet. "Matt had saliva all over the doll house! Now its all ruined!!" He said that last part extra-dramatically. I chuckled lightly. "Aw, cheer up sport! Lets just have some muffins shall we?" Janelle ruffled his hair. Nicholas blushed. He really liked Janelle. But, *AHEM!!* Janelle's 19 and hes 9. NO WAY IM LETTING THAT HAPPEN. Nicholas squrimed out of my arms and ran to our Grand Aunt (Aunt Jade) for the muffins. All of us ran after him. "Aunt Jade, are the muffins ready?" I said in a fake posh tone and sounded really corny. "Oh indeed they are, Amanda Joan." Aunt Jade said, copying the posh tone, playing along with my joke. "Oh delightful!" I skipped towards my awesome Aunt. "No, really, I WANT MY MUFFINS AND I WANT THEM NOW IF NOT LETITIA IS GOING TO LOSE IT AND SO AM I." I said, exceptionally fast and childish. "That seems more like the Mani I know." Aunt Jade said as she pinched my cheek. Letitia and I screamed "YAY" as we grabbed the tray and laid it down on the table. "SNOWFLAKES YOU'D BETTER COME DOWN THIS INSTANT THERE ARE MUFFINS AND IF YOU DONT COME DOWN IN 3 SECOND I WILL EAT THEM ALL UP!" I screamed at the swirly staircase. A whole chours of "Im coming!"s were heard from the stairs as I started counting down from "3,2,1! IM EATING THEM ALL UP!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" I laughed like a witch and the rest joined me until all my snowflakes were gathered.
All of us had a great time eating our awesome muffins made my none other than my lovely Aunt Jade, which was my guardian since my parents died in a tragic car crash when I was 12, Erica was 2 and Renae was 1. I dont remember much, but I was in the car, going to my primary school, and Renae and Erica safely at home, I was talking to my doll, Goldilocks. When suddenly, my dad swevered the car, and the car crashed into a tree. I was only 12 at that time, and obviously I started crying when my foot got stuck in the between the chairs in the car. But realising my parents werent awake, I started screaming their name, but to no avail. It was pretty traumatising for a 12 year old, if you ask me, seeing your parents die on the spot and see house movers moving loading your stuff to your Grand Aunt's place, and all you have are you 2 & 1 year old sisters. Luckily I had gotten over it.......... I think.
