Y/N POV
"You excited to see the concert tonight? The bands great!" Dad spoke as he faced me with a smile.
I leaned back in my seat and turned to face the window, my shoulders shrugged.
"I'm sure the bands great dad, I just don't understand why we're going to the venue 3 hours prior before the show starts." I replied and then gulped.
Dad continued to drive and sighed,
"Y/N? Are you still angry that I didn't allow you to hangout with your friends? Come on, this is better! It's a concert." Dad argued back, he tried making me happy but I just looked down at my fiddling fingers.
Truth is, I needed to sort out my relationship with my ex Jackson.
I wasn't actually going to hangout with my friends, I just needed to see Jackson to sort out what we 'were'.
"The Fonda Theatre! Are you ready? We're here to get our groove on, Ouah Ouah." Dad sang as he placed the car in park.
I rolled my eyes and smiled, geez, dad's an embarrassment.
As I stepped outside of the car and checked out the Theatre, my eye's landed on a van that was parked in front of us.
"The bands here. Let me introduce you to Calpurnia." Dad mentioned while dragging me to the van.
A breath exhaled my mouth as the van door opened, a boy with red curly hair smiled at my dad and then at me.
"Malcom, what a good looking lad! This is my daughter Y/N." Dad spoke and pointed at me,
Malcom then gave me a soft smile and I waved lightly before placing my hands in my pockets.
"Nice to meet you Y/N. Your dad talks about you all the time, he also brings up some stories, so we know quite a lot about you." Malcom mentioned with a grin, my brows frowned and I sighed.
Damn it dad.
I was then introduced to Ayla and Jack, such sweet people.
This band wasn't what I was expecting them to be.
"Finn, meet my daughter Y/N." Dad spoke, my glance focused on this tall dark curly haired boy as he stepped out of the van holding his guitar bag.
His smile was something I most likely wouldn't get over.
"Hey." Finn mumbled with a smirk followed. I smiled and looked down, wow I was blushing?
I gulped and blinked, no words escaped my lips. Suddenly dad started talking to the parents of the band while I stood there awkwardly with Finn.
"Y/N err, you uh have a pretty smile." Finn whispered faintly and nervously while showing off his dimples.
I thanked him and watched as he grinned before walking towards the back of the van.
Finn POV
I nudged Jacks arm.
"Y/N is freakin gorgeous dude. You know when you look at someone and instantly think, 'can I see that face everyday? It makes me smile' I explained as we entered the theatre.
Jack winked at me.
"Bruh, ask Y/N out for a date or something." Jack whispered, I shrugged my shoulders and looked over to where Y/N was...
Y/N was walking while talking to Ayla.
"Wouldn't it be weird? Her dad works for us." I whispered back. Jack nodded a no,
"Im sure it'd be fine." Jack replied.
I inhaled and then exhaled.
As I placed all my equipment down onto the stage the band started doing sound check.
I nervously faced Y/N who was off stage and standing in the crowds area.
She smiled at me, so I smiled back and bit my lip. Geez, she makes me feel a certain way.
My breathing increased and my pants were feeling a little tighter then usual.

"Rehearsal time, then we get you guys prepared for the show." Y/N's dad yelled out excitedly with a smile.
Y/N POV
Watching Finn play made me smile the whole entire time during the rehearsal. He'd glance at me every now and then and continue to smile as he sang.
This boy made my heart go whoosh. But he also made me feel like, like there was tension between us. Good tension? Sexual tension?
"Don't let me down. I'm in love for the first time..." Finn sang while keeping his eye contact with me.
A blushing smile was placed onto our faces.
Just after rehearsals I was really thirsty,
"Dad, is there any water bottles here? Or water? I'm so parched." I complained,
Dad was about to say something until Finn walked over,
"We have a ton of water bottles in the Band Van. You wanna get them out with me?" Finn asked, my dad agreed and so did Finn's mom.
"Go help Finn!" Dad spoke, Finn reached for the Vans keys and grinned.
"Follow me." Finn whispered.
And so I did.
By the time we walked outside to the Band Van I was extremely nervous about being with Finn.
But a thought also entered my head... I was worried about Jackson, I still needed to talk to him.
"We have like 3 boxes of water." Finn mumbled as we entered the back of the Van.
I brushed off what he was saying just thinking about Jackson.
I guess Finn realised there was something wrong.
Finn raised his brows and faced me.
"You okay?" Finn asked genuinely concerned. I sniffled and exhaled a breath as we stood there in the back of the van...
"Just frustrated about some things, about my lying back stabbing evil ex." I mumbled,
I was then surprised that I blurted my personal shit out to Finn. I didn't even know this guy but, it seemed right to tell him.
"I'm Glad he's your ex. You don't deserve shit from him." Finn replied and then placed his hands into his pockets.
A small smile formed onto my lips.
"Thanks Finn." I whispered back. Finn then winked at me, followed by a smirk.
I reached for a box of water.
"I love your cover of 'Don't let me down' , you guys sound great. Also, Greyhound was one of my favourites." I mentioned, Finn smiled and thanked me.
We both stared at one another with a grin. I felt that tension again between us, I could feel Finn's stare on me...
Finn's eyes had glanced down at my lips. I than began to feel hot and my breathing increased as we stood there just staring at one another.
Finn placed the box down and stepped towards me. Copying him, I placed down the box of water bottles.
"I-I can make you forget about your ex." Finn mumbled as he reached for my shirt and tugged on it.
I licked my lips and watched as Finn stared at me with lustful eyes...
"You can?" I whispered back. Finn nodded his head.
"Come here." Finn spoke as he tugged again at my shirt and pulled me closer towards him, I felt as his slender fingers and hands held me against him.
A smile formed onto my lips as we both leaned our foreheads onto one another.
Our eye contact made me melt, the way Finn smiled made me melt.
Finn then leaned in to kiss me. Of course, I kissed him back.
Down in the pit of my stomach, I could feel a weird feeling, suddenly, Finn's hands started roaming down my back...
His touch gave me shivers down my spine.
"Mhmm." I moaned into our kiss. Finn's fingers started circling my back which made me want him more.
Finn pulled back from our kiss,
"L-let me close the van door, and then we can continue..." Finn mumbled. I agreed and watched him close the van door.
My heart was beating fast, super fast.

Y/N stood there and so did Finn. Both out of breath and sweaty.
"Uh." I mumbled and smiled, Finn grinned and they both hopped out of the van.
"I'm ready for the show, come on." Finn spoke as he winked at me while buttoning up his pants.
