The skies glistened, the colour of blood,
The earth weeped dirty brown tears.
And among the remains of the charred wood,
Lay the seed of hope, so dear.

I love the emotion of hope because it's just really cool that even in those moments of utter despair, we are able to hold on to hope, somewhere deep inside.
Especially during those times when you know you haven't studied enough for a test, but continue to procrastinate and not study...😂 JK
