The doctors runs inside the OT and the door gets closed.
The brothers hugs each other crying.
Arjun: he'll be fine na?
Sanskar: yes... He have to.
Ryan holds Ragini's hand.
Ragini looks up at him. She wipes her tears and keeps her other hand over his.
Ragini (determined): he has to come back. He promised me and Laksh Maheshwari never backs off from his words.
Ryan hugs her crying.
Just then a doctor comes out of the OT. All looks at him.
Doctor: it was a major accident. He has lost very much blood. His head is injured badly. Condition is serious and critical. It's a police case. So, police must be here anytime. We just want to ask you something before we start with the operation.
All: what?
Doctor: we'll touch the case only when you'll accept that if anything happens to him during the operation then we are not responsible for it.
All looks at him shocked.
Ragini (angrily): what are you saying?
Doctor: we're understanding your condition but it's necessary because it's a very critical case otherwise we'll not do the treatment. Please tell us fast. We don't have much time to waste. Patient needs immediate attention or you'll regret.
Ragini and the brothers looks towards each other with teary eyes.
All: ok, we agree.
The doctor nods and leaves for the OT again.
All: nothing will happen.

Sanskar and Ryan were sitting on the hospital chairs. Ryan was hugging him. Ragini and Arjun were sitting on the floor at different places. Their eyes were continuously flowing.
Arjun starts thinking of his days with his brother.

It was the day when Arjun's board exam result was going to come. The results were going to be declared in the evening and it was afternoon.
Arjun, Sanskar and Ryan were sitting in the hall looking at their elder brother who was moving here and there in tension.
Sanskar: bhai, relax. Result will be good only.
Arjun and Ryan nods.
Laksh: huh, I don't trust him a bit in case of studies.
He says looking at Arjun.
Arjun pouts.
Laksh: you wrote exams well na?
Arjun nods innocently.
Arjun: I wrote every answer neat and clean.
Laksh: and correct also?
He asks raising his eyebrow up.
Ryan and Sanskar chuckles. Arjun smiles showing all his pearls.
Arjun: yes, I wrote everything you taught me.
Laksh: huh, I taught you only during your exams.
Arjun: so, then only I studied something before that I never studied anything.
He says smiling sheepishly.
Laksh glares him. Arjun gulps.
Laksh: I'll kill you if you failed.
Arjun shakes his head in no vigorously.
Suddenly Laksh's phone gets a notification. All looks at him. Laksh starts checking for the result.
Laksh: roll number
Arjun: 3
Laksh glares him.
Laksh (gritting his teeth): I'm talking about board exam roll number not your class roll number. Idiot.
Arjun gulps.
Arjun: I don't remember.
Laksh: what?
Arjun jumps up scared and runs to his room.
He comes back with his roll number slip and gives it to Laksh.
Laksh: atleast you didn't throw it away.
He says rolling his eyes.
Laksh checks the result. A smile creeps on his face seeing the result. He starts jumping in happiness.
Trio brothers were shocked seeing that side of their eldest brother. He was happy like it was his result.
Laksh hugs Arjun.
Laksh: I'm so proud of you.
Arjun: I'm happy that I made you proud of me.
Laksh smiles.
Ryan: bhayu, tell us the result.
Laksh: he got 85%
Ryan and Sanskar: wow...
Arjun (shocked): really???
Trio others rolls their eyes at him.
Laksh: so...
Trio: so...
Laksh: party to banti hai
Everyone jumps with happiness.

He says sobbing.
"Di" all heard the crying voice of the sisters. All looks at them.
They runs to Ragini and hugs her tightly. Ragini breaks in their arms. They were also crying.
Trio: jiju...
Ragini points towards the OT with trembling hands. The sisters were consoling her.
Just then Aryan comes there in his uniform. He was shocked finding all of them there.
Aryan: what happened?
Suddenly something strikes in his mind. He looks at everyone.
Aryan (scared): Laksh???
Everyone nods in between their tears.
Aryan stumbles and holds a chair to support.
He was not believing that for which accident case he came to handle was of his own best friend, his buddy. Tears made their way from his eyes as well.
A constable: sir, we have to file the case.
Aryan (emotionlessly): I can't do anything now.
The constable nods.
Arjun was feeling suffocated in the hospital. So he get's up and runs out.
Ragini, Ryan and Sanskar: Aru/bhai
Naina: I'll see.
She wipes her tears and runs after him.
Ragini get's up.
Swarsha: di...
Ragini: I'm fine. Just want to stay alone for sometime.
She says blankly and leaves.
Swarsha looks at her emotionally. They leaves towards Ryan, Sanskar and Aryan.
Aryan (with red eyes): who did that?
Sanskar: we don't know.
Aryan: I'll not leave that bastart once I find him. I'll show him the hell. He'll beg for death.
A nurse comes there.
Nurse: sir, you have to pay the fee for the operation.
Sanskar nods. He comes out of Ryan's grip and leaves with her. Swara too goes with him.
Misha sits on the chair besides Ryan and hugs him. Ryan looks at her.
Misha: he's the strongest man I have ever met. He'll fight for us and will win this battle of life and death for sure.
Ryan: pakka...
Misha: pakka...
Aryan: and if he dared to run away from us then I'll break his bones.
Ryan hugs him from the other side.

Sanskar pays the bills and turns and hits with someone. He raises his eyes to look at the person. Swara was standing in front of him. He hugs her crying.
Swara: sshh... Sanskar, nothing will happen to him. You're the elder after jiju. If you'll break down like this then who'll take care of Arjun and Ryan?
Sanskar: I'm not strong like bhai Swara.
Swara: I know it's a tough time for us but we'll come out of it. Everything will be fine.

Ragini was sitting in a dark corner of the hospital. She was crying looking at Laksh's photo.

Laksh was frustrated sitting at the house all the day.
Ragini comes to the room and found him lying on the bed.She goes towards him and keeps his medicines in front of him.
Laksh turns his face towards the other side. Ragini frowns and moves to the same side.
Seeing her, Laksh turns to the other side.
Ragini: what are you doing?
Laksh: I don't want to take any medicine.
Ragini: why?
Laksh: because I don't like them. They tastes yuck.
He says making faces.
Ragini chuckles. Laksh glares her.
Ragini: but you have to take these tablets.
Laksh shakes his head and hides his face in between the pillows.
Ragini was surprised witnessing his childish behavior. She was secretly admiring him.
Ragini: Laksh
But got no response from him.
Ragini (sternly): Laksh
She goes towards him and snatches the pillow from him.
Ragini: Laksh, what is this? Take your medicine.
Laksh shakes his head in a big no.
Laksh: why don't you try them once?
Ragini rolls her eyes.
Ragini: you're unwell not me.
Laksh: I'm absolutely fine.
Ragini (sarcastically): oh really. I think the doctor was fraud that's why he lied.
Laksh twitches his lips.
Laksh: can't you let me live in peace? Why are you so stubborn?
Ragini: not more than you Mr Maheshwari.
Laksh glares her.
He snatches the tablets from her and gulps them.
Ragini: good boy
Laksh passes daggers at her and she runs away from there.

Ragini: why didn't you listen to me Laksh? I have once gone through the pain of losing my loved ones. I don't have the guts of going through it again. You came in my and became my life. I can't live without you. If anything happened to you then I'll die. I can't lose you. You're my heartbeat. Please fight for your life not for me but for your brothers. Please....
God, I never complained to you for snatching my parents from me but not him please.
She hugs her knees crying badly.

Outside the hospital:
Arjun was continuously hitting his hand on the wall to let out his emotions and anger.
Naina: Arjun
Arjun turns and immediately hugs her.
Arjun: why God is so unfair?
Naina: he's not unfair. He tests his children time to time and we need to pass the tests.
Arjun: I can't live without bhai.
Naina: you don't need to live without him. He'll come back and we'll live with him happily.
Arjun composes himself and both of them goes inside.

All were standing in front of the OT with red eyes and pale faces when a doctor comes out.
All: doctor
Doctor: we did the operation but nothing can be said. We need to do some checkups now. His body is not responding. His heart is beating and he's breathing as well but not responding to any treatment of ours.
All were shocked listening his words.
Doctor: look we're doing our best but the chances are very less and the situation is very critical. Please pray to god.
Everyone stumbles. Ragini too comes there.
Doctor: is anyone there whose blood group is same as his? We need blood at this instant.
The brothers looks at each other.
Ryan: he's O- and none of ours matches with his.
Doctor: ya, this blood group is most rare. Uhm, anyone O+?
The brothers shakes their heads.
Trio sisters: di...
All looks at Ragini.
Ragini: mine is O+. I'll give the blood.
Doctor: you are patient's?
Misha: wife...
Doctor: ok, come with us.
Ragini wipes her tears and leaves with him.

Inside the OT:
Ragini enters after the blood test.
She looks at her life who was lying lifelessly on the hospital bed.
There were bandages almost all over his body. His face was pale and lips were dry. Various machines were attached to his body.
Ragini was looking at him with tear filled and longing eyes. She was feeling like dying seeing him in that state.
Ragini: you have to fight Mr Laksh Maheshwari. You promised me that you'll come back and you can't back off. I'll not let you go away from me.
She is made to lay on another bed a little away from Laksh's and a nurse attached the needle in her hand which was connected to a thin pipe and the other end of it was attached to Laksh's hand.
There was a curtain in between.
Ragini was just looking at Laksh.
Doctor: you can leave now.
Ragini stands up. She looks at Laksh once again.
Ragini: fight for your life Laksh which is not yours but mine.
She leaves the OT with tear filled eyes.

Ragini (crying): I can't see him like this.
She falls on the floor, broken.
Everyone sits down and hugs her.

It was 2 in the morning.
All were sitting here and there with pale faces and red eyes. Their tears dried. Laksh was shifted to ICU now.
The doctors said that his life is still in danger. They can say anything only after his gaining consciousness otherwise... And it can take days. They said that he's stable but not better. He's still not responding to anything.
It seems like his body wants to leave but his sole is not ready for it.
The sisters were sitting with Ragini, hugging her.
Aryan comes with food for everyone.
Aryan: guys please eat something. You all haven't ate anything from long.
Everyone shakes their heads.
Aryan: stop being stupids. Have you imagined what he'll do or feel when he'll come to know that you all are not eating anything? He loves you more than his life and you are behaving like this. Skipping food will not help but our will power and prayers will work. You all need to be strong for him. You want to stay beside him or to lay beside him? Come on have something.
He goes towards Arjun.
Arjun: I don't want...
Aryan: shut up
He feeds him a little food forcefully.
Sanskar gets up and takes food from him and feeds Ryan and also eats a little.
Naina goes towards Ragini.
Naina: di...
Ragini: I'm not hungry Nainu.
Misha: please di
Ragini: I said na.
Aryan: bhabhi why are you doing like this? Please have something.
Ragini shakes her head.
Everyone sighs looking at her sadly.
Ryan unknowingly falls asleep on Arjun's shoulder. He was lost in the memories.

Ryan: bhayu, where are you?
Laksh (shouts): kitchen...
Ryan was surprised with it. He goes to the kitchen.
He was shocked seeing the condition of the kitchen. Everything was messed up and spread here and there.
Ryan: bhayu, what are you doing here in the kitchen?
Laksh: wo the servants are on leave today and Sanky and Aru have gone to market. So, I was preparing something to eat for both of us.
Ryan: really, what you have prepared?
He asks giggling.
Laksh smiles sheepishly and points towards something. There was something black in pan.
Ryan: what is this bhayu?
Laksh: arre idiot these are noodles.
Ryan looks on with wide eyes. He starts laughing after a few seconds.
Laksh pouts.
Ryan (controlling his laugh): sorry sorry.... Uhm, we'll together make something. Ok.
Laksh: I know you are a better cook than me.
He says chuckling.
They makes pasta and eats together.
Laksh get's up and starts leaving.
Ryan: bhayu, where are you going?
Fb ends.

Ryan sees him fading away. He get's up with a jerk.
Ryan (shouts): bhayu please don't go......
His eyes were flowing.
Everyone looks at him worried.
Everyone: Rey...
Arjun hugs him.
All runs towards him. Ragini cups his face.
Ragini: Rey you fine?
Ryan nods in between his tears.
Just then the door of the ICU opens and a doctor comes out.

Honestly speaking, I myself was feeling goosebumps on my body when I wrote the last part. It is the worst of worst feeling for anyone.
