Driving towards the gym , because my dad texted earlier saying he wanted to meet me in private ? I don't know why but it's a good excuse to drive my car .
I looked like a badass with my Dutch brides and a crop top and high waist blue jeans and a black leather jacket with a pair of black sunglasses . Parking in front of the gym and getting out making sure the car is locked.
Opening the door and hearing the loud music echo the gym while people were punching bags and other we're having simple conversations .
"Hey Sanchez !. " turning around , and it was Ben who shouted my name I give him a smile and wave , I walk towards the elevator waiting for it to open
"Hey.." then the elevator opened and I clicked on the fourth button , the elevator stopped and opened while I walk out and knock on my dads door
"Come in.." he said behind the door, opening the door and closing it meeting my dad with a wide smile
"Hey., dad" I said while sitting down and leaning my hands over my head
"So, did you like the car ?." he smiled, I nodded my head quickly
"Yeah, thanks" i said while smiling
"Good, so I wanted to talk to you importantly." he said while looking at a couple of pairs in front of him
"Ugh..did I do something wrong? Because if I did , trust me it wasn't me.." I said while giving him a questing look, a soft laugh escapes his lips
"No, it's just that I heard your a good fighter..." He led out while shrugging his shoulders
"Well, Adam has been teaching me for a long time" I said
"Did you ever hear about street fighting?" he said , looking up to me while he leaned his head in his hands
"Ugh, yea why?." I said while looking at him while furrowing my eyebrows,
"Do you ever think about fighting?." he said while looking at me
"No, it's street fighting"
"We'll it's not street fighting, you don't fight on the streets we simply call it that. But it's when your matched with someone and you fight representing your gang, everyone puts money into the fight and into the people who's fighting .." he said
"Why are you telling me this."
"Because I want to see your fighter skills put into this street fighting."
"I don't know dad, what about mom.." i said while looking away and leaning in my chair
"She don't have to know" he said while he shrugging his shoulders and slumping into his chair
"Is it because of Mario?. " I said rolling my eyes
"Yes because so he can see your not gonna be easy, and it's good for people to know your strong rather then weak."
"Fine," he looked at me with wide eyes , I even surprised myself
"What"
"I said fine" I said while getting up from my chair and pulling down my jacket
"When's my first fight ?" I said while getting my phone out
"The 25" he said while looking at his calendar, he looks back at me
"Of next month.." I said , he nodded
"We'll have to go bye, dad" I said while opening the door and waving
"Bye and practice you have 3 weeks till the fight" he shouted
"Got it" then I closed the door

why would I do that ? I don't even know one bit of fighting someone completely , a sigh escapes my lips and that's when a knock comes from my door.
"Coming" getting up and walking to my door and opening it seeing Adam leaning against the door frame while a small smirk is placed in his face
"What?" I said with a smile
"Nothing." He shakes his head while keeping his bottom lip between his teeth , rolling my eyes and jumping back on my bed
"Ok"
"So how was it?" He asked sitting down next to me while I look back at him with a questioning look
"How was what?"
"With your dad, idiot" he said while throwing a pillow to my face, hitting my jaw
"Hey !" I said while touching my jaw, his eyes softened he softly kisses my jaw
"Sorry" he said chuckling
"Oh we'll I guess he wants me to join street fighting" I said while shrugging my shoulders not really caring no more
"Wait ? What ! " he shouted
"No need to shout" I said while picking up my pillow and covering my ear not wanting to hear his loud voice
"He wants you to fight? Street fighting."
"Mhm..yeah my fight is in 3 weeks" I looked up to Adam and see his jaw clenched and his eye getting darker by the minute.
"So let me guess ? You said yes " slowly nodding my head
Don't want to argue with him right know, I kept telling myself
"Your such an idiot ! " he shouted while throwing his hands up in the air
"How ?!" i yelled back
I'm done
"Why would you say yes !?" his eyes are now full of anger
"I don't know ?" I said while throwing my hands up in the air
"You can't even fight ."
"Fuck that , yes I can " i shouted back
"See you don't even believe in me" I said while getting up and opening my closet door, finding a pair of shoes
'BOOM' I looked back and see no Adam in my room , he must of left
Why is he getting mad
I changed into a pair of Black shorts and Black sports bra and a white crop top over it I texted bobby
Maria- hey are you at the gym
Bobby- yea why?
Maria- I'm coming
Bobby- okay
I walked out my room and out my house I started the car and headed to the gym.
I walked out and opened the doors and saw bobby with a confusing look
"Hey" I said while putting my bag down
"Are you okay?" he asked
"Yea why ask that?"
"Just asking" he said while shrugging his shoulders and chugging down on his water bottle
"Your dad told me" he said while leaning on the ring , I look up and smile
"So you already know about my fight" he nodded his head
"We'll let's get the training on" he said while clapping his hands and jumping in the ring

I kept punching the bag
"Ok Maria this is your last punch" bobby shouted , I nodded my head looking at the beaten bag
Get all your anger out by this punch
I brought my right hand and punched the bag with all my force
BOOM. it echoed through the whole entire gym
"Good job Maria" he said while clapping his hands loudly making me laugh and bow down.
"Thank you , thank you" I said while bowing again and again
"Your really good.." he said
"Thanks just got all my anger out" I said with a smile
"Why? What happened"
"Adam" I snapped
"What he do now?" he said while chugging down his water
"Got mad when he found out I'm gonna be in a fight" I said
"We'll that's him he cares about you a lot just let him cool off."
"I know" I said while getting my bag and throwing it over my shoulder
"Thanks bobby"
"No problem tomorrow again?" he shouted , while I opened the front door and gave him a nod
"Yeah ." i closed the door and went back to my car

"Hello ?" I shouted when I opened the front door
"Maria" mom shouted from the kitchen making me walk inside
I was met with my mom who's cooking food ,
"Hey mom" I said while giving her a kiss on the cheek
"How was your day and why are you dressed like that?." she said
"Gym" I simply answered
"Oh why" she asked
"Why so many questions"
"Just asking" she shrugged
"Oh"
"Did Adam help you"
"No we're not on best terms right now" I said while eating a apple
"What did you do" she snapped while putting her hands on her hips.
"What"i said while my apple fell on the ground
"What did you do" she asked again
"Me" I said while pointing to myself
"Yeah"
"Nothing he started to shout and yell at me" I stated
"Because honey you over react everything" she snapped , shaking her head
"Whats your problem" i snapped
"What it's true that's why you never really dated because your picky , and over react everything" she snapped while shaking her head.
"I'm not in the mood for your bull shit and if dad did something to you don't blame me" I snapped and ran to my room and slammed my door
