so latín pop gets criticized A LOT especially because of the lyrics used by some male trap artists (ex. bad bunny, anuel aa, bryant myers). i myself will admit that their lyrics are not the best message to send if a younger audience listens. but latin trap is very close to rap made by male artists from america.
but when it comes to female artists (ex. becky g, natti natasha) they get called "not lady like" because of becky g's song with bad bunny called "Mayores". or becky g's collaboration with natti natasha on their song "Sin Pijama".
the lyrics of both songs are as if a male artist was talking about fucking girls and stuff but from a woman's perspective but less vulgar. (i think that makes sense idk). but the songs still get attention because their catchy and both artists are amazing.
if you're going to criticize something forever don't hear it then. songs from latin pop are heard by people off all ages and genders. when it comes to trap the ages change from 12+ because of the lyrics but people still hear it in every corner and it's talked about a lot.
in conclusion latin pop is great. not a lot of people will agree but oh well, you can't win them all over i guess
