PRESENT DAY
“All I asked was that it didn’t happen again, but you let it!” Abby yelled.
His eyes bored into hers.
“I’m so sorry Abby.”
“That’s not going to be enough this time.”
FLASHBACK
Liz and Abby went back to Seattle but Ian had to stay to shoot TVD.
The plane ride was uncomfortable. Thankfully, Hannah sat between Abby and Liz.
When they arrived back at the house, Liz cornered Abby.
“Please can we talk about this?”
Abby shook her head. “Liz, there is nothing to talk about. What happened happened. It’s over now.”
“But I don’t want it to be,” Liz said quietly.
Abby was confused. “What do you mean?”
Liz put Hannah down on the floor with her toys and approached Abby. “I don’t want to end this,” she said pointing between herself and Abby.
“End what? Threesomes?”
“No. Abby, I think I am in love with you.”
Say what now?
“I…I don’t know what to say,” Abby said.
Liz brushed her hand through Abby’s hair and Abby froze.
“Then don’t say anything,” Liz said and kissed her.
Abby pulled away. “I thought you just wanted Ian?”
Liz laughed. “He’s great and all but I am interested in you Abby.”
Abby shook her head. “Don’t take this the wrong way. You are lovely and anyone would be lucky to have you, but I’m just not interested.”
Liz looked dejected. “So what happened meant nothing to you.”
“Liz,” Abby said.
“You know what. Never mind. I shouldn’t have brought it up. So,” she said changing the subject. “When will you start interviewing?”
“Ian is interviewing at home while he is there. There is a girl from your agency that is interested in the job.”
Liz nodded and sat down to play with Hannah. “Are you interviewing here?”
“I don’t think so. We will be returning to Boston at the end of April, so…”
Liz nodded again. “Makes sense.”
“Liz I am so sorry. I don’t know why we pulled you into this.”
“You didn’t pull me into anything Abby. I told Ian how I felt about you. He took it from there. I am the one who should apologize. I never should have taken advantage of you while you were drunk.”
Good point Abby thought. Then she grew pissed at Ian. How could he do this to all of us!
“It’s not your fault. If it’s anyone’s its mine and Ian’s.”
Liz sighed. “Can we not talk about it. I think I want to take Hannah out to the park if that’s ok.”
Abby nodded. “She might fall asleep on you.”
Liz shrugged. “That’s ok. I’ll put her in her stroller if she gets tired.”
“OK,” Abby said and went to the kitchen. She got together a diaper bag and handed it to Liz.
“See you in a bit,” Liz said and headed out.
Abby dragged her suitcases to her room and unpacked. A million things went through her head. If Ian knew that Liz felt the way she did, then he took advantage of the poor girl. Not to mention he tried to have sex with her while Abby slept. None of it made sense. Abby came to one conclusion. Ian was selfish.
After a few uncomfortable days, Ian returned.
“Hey Beautiful,” he said walking into the living room. It was eight at night and Abby was watching TV. Liz did her best to stay away from her and Abby was getting lonely.
“What no hug?” Ian asked.
Abby shook her head. “Do you really think you deserve one?”
What did I do now? He wondered.
“I’m sorry,” Abby said. “It’s been a long few days.”
She got up and Ian wrapped his arms around her kissing her passionately. Abby pulled away before things got too heated.
“So did you find a new nanny?”
Ian looked surprised. “Liz didn’t tell you?”
“Tell me what? Liz and I haven’t really spoken since we got back.”
“Oh,” I said. “About that. Abby, I never should have…”
“Just stop Ian. Did you find a nanny or not?”
“Yes,” he said. “She’ll be here tomorrow.”
Abby was shocked. “Liz is leaving tomorrow?”
“No,” Liz said from the stairs. “I’ll stay for a week to show the new lady what to do, but then I will be heading home.”
Abby nodded.
“Is everything ok here?” Ian asked about them.
“Just peachy,” Abby said and Liz agreed.
“Abby, what the hell is going on?”
“Oh besides the fact that you took advantage of Liz and I, nothing.”
Liz spoke up. “Since I am leaving I might as well tell you Ian. You knew how I felt about your wife, but you let it happen anyway. I wanted to quit but you told me not too. Now we are in a weird situation where I am in love with your wife!”
Ian stepped back as Liz got closer. “You’re in love with her?”
“Yes I am. Obviously she doesn’t feel the same way, so how do you think I feel now that we’ve had sex?”
Abby hung her head. She felt bad for Liz, for letting it go that far.
“Liz, Abby, I am so sorry. I wasn’t thinking.”
“Oh you were thinking,” Abby said. “With the head below your waist. We have a threesome, which by the way was awesome but then you go and try to have sex with Liz. You’re fucking unbelievable.”
Abby left the room and went to her bedroom. Liz went to her room leaving Ian standing in the living room.

He made his way up the wooden stairs, down the hall to their bedroom.
“Abby, listen to me. Please forgive me,” he said hugging her from behind “I love you and I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
Abby sighed. “But you did,” she said softly.
“How can I make it up to you?” he asked.
Abby shrugged. “I don’t know, I really don’t. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around what happened. I am all for a threesome, but you knew Liz had feelings for me and you allowed it to happen. It should never be that way.”
Ian nodded. “It will never happen again.”
“You’re right, it won’t,” Abby said. “Why did you have sex with her while I was sleeping?”
Ian looked defeated. “We were both awake, watching you sleep. It just happened.”
Abby nodded and started to cry.
“Hey hey Beautiful. I’m so sorry.”
“Promise me it will never happen again.”
“I promise,” Ian said and kissed her neck. “I only want you.”
Abby got goose bumps when he said that. She turned in his arms. He cupped her cheek and searched her eyes. “I will never hurt you again.”
He kissed her urgently, praying she would forgive him. She moaned as he slid his tongue into her mouth. They kissed until he had her pressed against the wall.
“I think I need a shower,” he said wiggling his eyebrows at her.
“I think you do too,” Abby said.
“Care to join me?”
Abby wasn’t sure but said yes. He was her husband after all.
Ian practically ripped her clothes off and stood her in the shower. He turned undressed and turned it on. Grabbing Abby he kissed her, pressing her against the tile wall.
“Let me make love to you,” Ian said.
Abby nodded. He lifted her up and slid into her, pushing her against the wall with each thrust.
“Oh Abby, I’ve missed you.”
“Ian,” she moaned as she rode him. “Don’t stop.”
When he came, he pulled out of her ad dropped to his knees. He noticed more fright cuts and kissed them until he reached her core. He licked her slit and devoured her.
“Christ Ian,” she said, legs shaking.
“Don’t hold back baby,” he said.
She came hard and he smiled at her. Standing up he kissed her languidly.
“I love you Beautiful. I promise never to hurt you again,” he said running his hands over her wet breasts.
“You better not,” Abby said and he laughed.
