/Jenna/ August 11th, 2016 [on scene]
I open the door to the firetruck and run over to the car that is hanging off the bridge
"We should hook the back of the car to the fire engine and pull it up" I suggest to severide
"Sounds like an idea, do what she said" Kelly says as Casey and Hermann hook the car up to the firetruck Otis then hops into the truck and drives it backwards so the car comes back up
Once the car is on all four we rush to the victim to see a man passed out
I open the door and flinch back at the strong smell of alcohol on his person
"Bring police, this guy isn't responding but he is driving under the influence" I say and boden nods as I grab the guy with severides help
We were able to get him out and onto a gurney
"Hey dude! How much have you had to drink?" I ask
"I had 12" he says
I widen my eyes and look at Kelly
"12 beers?" I ask
"I had 8 beers and 4 sodas" he says
"Why would you go driving if you you had that much to drink" severide asks
"I don know man, I needed to go to the park" he slurs
"Uh... it's 3 in the morning" I say
"Soo?" He asks
"Nevermind, we are going to give you some medication to sober you up the I guess you'll be up and out of here, and the police will decide what do do with you" I explain and he nods
"Let's sober up this guy" kelly says to gabby and she nods givkng him some medication
After a tow truck comes and picks up the car we take down the lights and open up the lanes again and go back to the firehouse to go back to sleep
I walk out of the truck and head for the turnout room to undress of our gear
I head back to the bunk room to go back to sleep
I soon fall back asleep
Truck81, squad3, Engine51, ambulance61 warehouse fire 1214 north pyne ave.
We all rush to the fire after getting our gear on
"Jenna and matt, go do search and rescue the rest standby" boden says to me and Matt
I look up at the fire and see that it's a really large fire that needs attention from more then two firefighters
We just walk in and see alot of people sitting there talking to eachother and laughing
"Hey if you can walk get ou of here" I say and they all fall limp at the same time
"What the hell?" I ask myself
I turn around to not see Matt anywhere near me
"Matthew! Where are you?" I ask while walking around to see him on the ground swallowed in fire
"No, no... I need back up firefighter down, firefighter down helppp" I say over my radio but no one radio's back
I go over to the Window trying to see what everyone is doing but there is black debris on the Windows
I wipe it off with my coat sleeve and look down to see everyone on the ground laying there looking dead
"Why me, why fucking me" I say pounding on the ground and running over matt and holding him to my chest
"Please matt, stay with me"i beg
I the fall back and can't get back up
"Fucking Charlie horse" I say through gritted teeth and I keep trying to get up but fire swallows me whole

I wake up drenched in sweat
I look up and see Matt looking down at me
"Are you okay?" He asks
"No" I say hugging him tight
"Tell me your dream" he says
I explain my dreams to Matt
"I'm okay, your okay, we're okay, there just dreams" he reassures me
"Thanks, I'm going to try and sleep for real this time, hopefully instead of a nightmare it will be a good dream or no dream at all" "adda girl" he says kissing my head and walking out to his office
I fall asleep for the third time this night begging and hopping not to have a nightmare
I wake up in my bed and feel someone next to me I look over and see Kelly
Then two little girl run into the room and start jumping on the bed im on "Mommy and daddy, wake up let's open presents now" they say to me
I look back looking for another man that they called daddy
My eyes then again land on a awake Kelly
He leans over and kisses me on the lips and removes the cover off of him
"Morning baby" he says pulling me out of bed and into his embrace
"Mo-morning" I stutter in shock
"Lets go" he says kissing my head as we walk out of the room I look around and eased this absolutely beautiful house with pictures everywhere some of me and Kelly dressed as bride and groom
And some of those girls
"Am I married to you?" I ask him
"Yeah baby for 5 beautiful years" he says scooping me up and taking me down the stairs
We get down there and see the girls sitting on the ground patiently wait in to open their Christmas gifts
I smile and look at severide I reach over....

"Fuckin severide" I curse under my breath
I get out of bed and walk to the kitchen and see everyone eating breakfast
"Here ya go" Hermann says hand in me a bowl of eggs
"Thanks hermann" i say taking my bowl to the table sitting next to gabby and Stella
"I need to talk to you guys when your done" I say to them and they nod and we finish eating and walk to the girls room
"Are you okay?" Stella asks
"Yes but i need you guys to tell me what this dream means" I say
"Okay" they both say
I explain the dream I had of severide and they switch back and forth emotional looks as I tell them the dream
"You want to be with severide"Stella says in a 'duh' tone
"No I don't he is my lieutenant and plus you to have something going" I say to her
"No we dont, I'm seeing Connor rhodes" she says
"No I can't I just can't date severide I will be thrown in a hole" I say
"What do you mean?" Gabby asks
"Boden doesn't like in house relationships, I'm surprised you and Matt cam even date" i say to her
"We just can't get married because I would have his last name" she explains
"How would I even talk to him about it?" I ask
"Just talk" Stella says
"It's not that easy kidd" I say and she rolls her eyes
"I'll be a wing woman" gabby says out of the blue with a smirk
"Me too" Stella says jumping up and down then hugging me tight
"Okay! Okay deal but i need to breathe" I say and she lets go
"Sorry, I'm just so excited" she says
We all make a plan and walk out of the girls room and back to the common rooml
"3 hours" me and hermann cheer talking about how long we have at work untill we can go home
"Hopefully we can just chill for those three hours" otis says
I throw him some dagger eyes just as the tannoy goes off
Engine51, Truck81, squad3, ambulance61.... house fire 549 north and Cartesian rd.
"Really?" Hermann says smacking Otis on the head, I just laugh and mal my way to the apparatus floor to get geared up
Me jump into the firetrucks and head to the fire
On the way there we put our tanks on along with our masks
"Dispatcher to squad3, Truck81, Engine51 and ambulance61?" The despatch says on our radio in the firetruck
"Copy?" Severide says
"We have dispatched 4 more fire departments to your location" the dispatcher says
"Is that necessary?" We hear boden says over the radio
"Yes cheif, it's a apartment complex, it's about 4 acers, we couldn't depend on all of your firemen to be able to evaluate 74 residents in a matter of wt" the dispatcher says
(Wt= work time)
"Okay thankyou" boden says
"Of course" the dispatcher says
"How long has the building been burning, there is no way it took a matter of 5 minutes to burn a whole complex" I say over my radio has we are driving to the fire
"It had to be arson, how would each apartment building catch fire they arnt right next to each other, which means someone would of had to set each apartment on fire, the fire didn't spread from building to building" I continue
"we'll Figure that out when we have more of an idea on what happened" boden radio's back to me as we pull up to the scene
We jump out to be met by other firemen and woman saying which buildings that Need to be evacuated
"This is my apartment complex" Kelly says rolling his eyes and starts barking order a
"Jenna, capp and cruz take apartment building B on the south side, cheif Greenhill said the stairwell isn't stable, so take the ladder up" he says we nod and he continues
"Tony your with me taking the west side on apartment B" he says Tony nods and we all rush to apartment B
We all rush up the ladder of the other fire companys truck
As we get up, we walk through the window and notice the smoke start to darken which means the building is starting to grown unstable
As we walk around the building looking for people we hear ecos of firemen and woman yelling
"Chicago fire department, call out" we hear around everywhere
Since we can't really see each other we need to use our instincts to walk around and look for people
As I walk past an apartment I hear muffled baby crys
"I need a haligan" I shout to anyone
"Here ya go" I hear someone say handing me the hot metal bar
"Thanks" I say prying open the door as people rush in behind me to search
I look around for the muffled cryes
"Keep crying baby! That's how I will find you" I shout
I hear the crying continue from under a couch
Not a smart idea to hide under a really flammable and confined area
I reach under the couch for the baby but can't reach it
"Someone lift this couch" I say as someone comes out and lift the couch I grab the baby
"We found a woman that Said the baby way hers, and she was trying to keep it safe" i hear Danny borelli says
"Okay let's get them down to Jimmy and gabby" I say to him
"What about brett?" Danny asks
"She went to help paramedics for the other firehouse I think for the one you work for" I say and he nods
"Cool, let's go" he says steping on the the ladder from the window
I follow behind him when there is an explosion goes off from behind us
The impact causes me to lose my balance on the ladder causing me to fall of and grab onto it
I look down and see firemen tell in me to let go of the child and then they would catch it but i don't want to get it scared
Danny lets down the day and tells her to climb down the ladder and fire police will show her to the ambulance
She nods and leaves as Danny reaches over the ladder and holds onto my arm waiting for more people to come up and help him pull me over the ladder
I'm finally pulled up over the ladder and back on two feet
I sigh and laugh
Danny just looks at me confused
"I was a little scared of heights when I was younger I never saw my self being a firemen climbing this high, my younger self definitely wouldn't like hanging off of a ladder 42 feet in the air" I say to him and he nods and chuckles
We walk down and continue evacuating people from the apartments
During this apartment fire we had 4 fatalities two older people, one adult and a baby
"Clean up squad is here lets get out machines cleaned up though" boden says
We clean up and go back to the firehouse just as the next shift shows up to the firehouse
"Finally time to leave" Hermann says patting me on the back and saying bye to everyone and leaves
I Pack my duffel back up and walk out of the firehouse after saying bye to everyone who returns the gestures
